Chapter 1341 - 1338: What’s With This Outfit?
Chapter 1341: Chapter 1338: What’s With This Outfit?
She never had the habit of staying in the villa for breakfast, so this time was no different; she was preparing to walk straight out.
As she passed by Qiao Junlie, she didn’t plan to linger; they both had their own things to attend to, didn’t they?
However, his words seemed like an order compelling her to stop.
"What’s up with you? Why this outfit, are your eyes nearsighted?" Qiao Junlie suspiciously eyed her. Especially those oversized glasses, very odd. Yesterday you were fine; how come today you seem like a completely different person, acting all neurotic? She’s only eighteen, yet dressed like an old woman.
Zi Ruoxi just pursed her lips and managed an awkward smile. She wasn’t bothered by his words.
"Not at all, I’m fine... Didn’t expect you to be up so early... Young Master, I’m sorry, polluting your eyes, I’ll disappear right away." Having said that, Zi Ruoxi’s captivating eyes sparkled as she quickly turned around intending to leave.
But, she had just taken two steps.
"Stop!" His deep, magnetic voice wasn’t loud but extraordinarily commanding.
The command behind her stopped her abruptly, leaving her no choice but to halt.
"Young Master, anything else?" Zi Ruoxi said with a faux-smile. A discomfort stirred in her heart; what she was doing had no impact on him, funny though, as long as she was happy, that was enough. Had it not been for the previous incident with the night encounter with a pervert, she wouldn’t have moved here for safety.
But regardless of what she thought, outwardly she still obediently complied with Qiao Junlie’s words.
Qiao Junlie approached her, his deep blue eyes reflecting her rebellious inner turmoil.
Qiao Junlie studied her thoughtfully, then suddenly reached out and took off the large frames from her face.
"Oh, oh, oh... What are you doing taking my glasses off! How rude!" Zi Ruoxi protested angrily, her eyes full of fury. Her last words seemed pointless; this person in front of her didn’t care about such formalities.
Looking at the rings around her eyes, he seemed to have realized something.
"So tired, didn’t sleep well?" Qiao Junlie asked. These seemingly caring words from him gave the listener a strange feeling.
"Uh, no. I slept very well." Zi Ruoxi responded somewhat unnaturally, snatching her glasses back, and quickly putting them back on.
Qiao Junlie suddenly laughed. Remembering her that day, asleep in the reception room with a posture almost as if in heat, a mischievous light flickered on his handsome face.
He suddenly leaned closer to Zi Ruoxi and whispered in a voice only audible to them, "Ruoxi, aren’t you too lonely that you can’t sleep? Want me to..."
Before he finished talking, he was immediately met with a glare.
Zi Ruoxi stared daggers at him, unsurprisingly followed by two words, "Shameless."
After uttering those words, she pushed up the large glasses on her face, slung her bag over her shoulder gracefully, and walked towards the grand hall’s exit without a backward glance.
Qiao Junlie watched her retreating figure, a deep abyssal sea blue hidden in his eyes.
...
On the weekend, morning dawn light, a gentle breeze, azure sea and sky, water glistening.
The tourism haven for nobles—Palau’s Rock Islands, with its freely drifting winds and casual ease. A place aspired to by thousands of successful people, and a paradise sought after by professional divers.
Distinctive summer charm, lush paradise, pristine beaches, coconut shadows swaying in the water, multicolored tropical fish creating a "animated" landscape of the Rock Islands.
Looking at the gray and white stone houses on the island, wandering through peaceful residential alleys, coupled with the setting sun, a strong drink and the gentle sea breeze, Zi Ruoxi couldn’t help but savor this "paradise on earth."
Unconsciously, she gently closed her eyes, feeling this momentary gentle breeze, sensing the comfort of the soft air brushing her cheeks, when suddenly something furry crawled up her cheek, clearly stimulating the skin. Zi Ruoxi abruptly opened her eyes.
"Reed!" Zi Ruoxi exclaimed, snatching the thing from his hand, involuntarily playing with it, "Young Master, where did you get this? This place, how come I didn’t see it?"
"You’ve been too engrossed here, of course you can’t see it!" Qiao Junlie chuckled wickedly, then pulled up her arm with a mischievous wink, "Come, want to know where to find it, follow me."
Zi Ruoxi suspiciously looked at the person in front of her, he seemed very excited, in good spirits. Wearing a vivid floral short-sleeve beach outfit paired with pure white shorts, not too short, extending below the knees, the five-part beach pants made him look brighter than the sunshine.
Zi Ruoxi followed Qiao Junlie onto his private yacht, wasn’t particularly large, medium-sized, but definitely luxurious. The yacht had modern navigation controls, fully equipped interior facilities, even room for a small speedboat, for what purpose, aside from emergencies, of course it served many other purposes.
Basically, there were no extra people; it was just the two of them. Initially, Uncle Ye worried that traveling without companions could be too risky, since the Rock Islands were quite remote, for those unfamiliar with the route, it was like searching for shrimp in a vast sea. But this concern was soon unfounded, with Qiao Junlie’s skills, whatever he wanted to do was possible. Moreover, the program he meticulously arranged was to compose a love song with her and bath in love sea, how could he allow outsiders to disturb.
"Wait for me for a while on the top deck. I’ll drive the boat." After saying this, Qiao Junlie hopped swiftly down.
Zi Ruoxi looked indifferently, then turned back, walked to the deck.
In no time, the boat began moving, gradually leaving the shore of the Rock Islands, heading towards the deep sea. Qiao Junlie set the course and time. As the ship sped forward, he released himself, took a few boxes of drinks from the cabin, heading up to the top deck.
On the deck, she was lying elegantly on a deck chair, resting. Her white silk draped shoulder-length dress outlining beautiful curves, as the course unfolded and the ship turned, golden sunlight occasionally penetrated the verdant canopy, pouring onto Qing Chen’s ancient, charming face, composing an intoxicating visage.
Haha, she can sleep like this!
Qiao Junlie walked over to her, crouching down, carefully admiring her sleeping posture. Hmm, adjusting quite well these days, no dark circles anymore. Her skin looks so tight, so fair, her eyebrows beautifully arched, along with those long lashes.
