The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1446 No More Mercy
After leaving the White Family and getting in the car, Sienna Johnson was still furious. Sally watched her carefully, not daring to say anything reckless.
She shouldn’t have come.
She had underestimated Elsa White’s shamelessness.
When the car drove onto Brookley Road, Sienna couldn’t hold back and said, "Live long enough and you really do see everything."
Sienna was mocking the shamelessness of the White father and daughter; when the upper beam is crooked, the lower beam is slanted. Elsa was so spoiled and wild, and instead of correcting her, Benjamin White actually indulged her.
Sally had never met such a brazen woman either, and couldn’t help saying, "Madam, with people like that, you really shouldn’t go soft on her."
Since the other side didn’t appreciate it, Sienna had no need to be soft-hearted anymore.
At first she’d even considered Elsa’s reputation, thinking that as a woman, once her name was ruined, her life would be over. But the woman didn’t care at all and was busy destroying her own name.
Hooking up with a married man—was that really something to be proud of?
Seeing the anger on Sienna’s face, Sally thought she minded the whole thing about Elsa drugging Adrian, so she hurried to explain for him,
"Madam, don’t believe a word that woman says. There’s no way Sixth Master could be drugged by her. He has Marion by his side—if anything was off, Marion would step in."
"Of course I don’t believe her bullshit."
Elsa was trying to sow discord between the husband and wife. If Sienna actually believed it, went home and made a scene with Adrian, that would be falling right into Elsa’s trap.
Elsa might be stupid, but that didn’t mean she was.
...
With her scruples gone, Sienna went in hard on Elsa.
The videos Lucas Robertson had dug up, Sienna had Aaron Faber post online, and in no time at all, Elsa was thoroughly "famous."
At the same time, Sienna submitted the evidence she’d collected to the Police Station to clear Adrian’s name.
The night Elsa had her car accident, she was in a Private Room at Rainbow Bar with the second young master of the Faber Family and the only son of the Carter Family, ****. They not only drank a lot, they also took drugs, then got in a car and hit the highway.
This was basically courting death. It wasn’t enough that Elsa went looking for death herself—she had to drag someone down with her.
And the one she dragged down wasn’t anyone else; it was Adrian. How could Sienna not be angry.
Out of consideration for the Faber Family and the Carter Family, Sienna didn’t make that set of materials public. She just mailed a copy to each family in private, and those two trust-fund brats got grounded.
...
Adrian was locked up for three days before being released.
Sienna came in person to pick him up. Adrian was in good spirits; the moment he saw her, he grabbed her and lifted her up.
"I haven’t been there to sleep with you these last few nights. Did you miss me? Insomnia?" Adrian asked.
"No!" Sienna shot back stiffly. "Put me down, people are staring."
"Let them stare!"
"Hurry up, put me down!"
Adrian knew she was thin-skinned, so he put her down. With laughter in his eyes, he looked at this woman and praised,
"I thought I’d have to stay in there for a while. Didn’t expect you to get me out this fast."
This time Sienna had played hardball; the White Family’s reputation was completely trashed.
Previously, Sienna had sued Elsa for slander and infringement of her right to reputation. Elsa had refused to publish an apology in the papers. This time, Sienna exposed the whole thing online and finally cleared the Johnson Family’s name.
Sienna still worried. "I’m afraid the White Family will lash out like a cornered dog."
"Then we just beat any disobedient dog to death."
They were still standing in front of the Police Station, and hearing this man speak with zero filter, Sienna pulled him into the car.
Adrian hadn’t showered for days and didn’t smell great. Instead of going straight home, Sienna took him to a sauna club for a bath and massage.
When Adrian changed into clean clothes, he finally realized how meticulous this woman was—she’d brought a change of clothes for him before she came.
Leaving the sauna club, Adrian slung an arm around her shoulders and said, "Now that I’ve showered, let’s go eat."
"Food outside isn’t healthy. Whatever you want to eat, I’ll make it for you."
"I want to eat out." Going home meant a bunch of people and noisy chaos; Adrian wanted none of that.
Seeing she wasn’t keen, Adrian said, "Once in a while won’t kill you. Look at the street—full of living people, not zombies."
Sienna was amused. "Fine. What do you want to eat?"
"Meat."
"Then let’s go for barbecue."
Things like candlelit dinners didn’t really suit the two of them.
Sienna picked a well-known Barbecue Restaurant in Sileria City. The meat was very fresh. Sienna didn’t have much of an appetite and just helped grill for him, while Adrian ate a lot.
"How long have you gone without a proper meal?" When Adrian finished two plates of grilled meat, Sienna couldn’t help asking.
"The food at the Police Station is inedible. Not a drop of grease. I even found a white worm in it."
"So you just stopped eating?"
"No, I ate the white worm. It was the only high-protein thing I’ve had." Adrian shoved a piece of pork belly into his mouth, finding it insanely delicious.
"Adrian, are you just trying to disgust me?" The moment Sienna pictured it, she wanted to throw up.
Adrian gave her a grin. "Just pretend I never said anything."
"But you did."
"You can forget it."
"I can’t."
"Then there’s nothing I can do."
The grilled meat in front of Adrian was gone, and he started ordering Sienna around. "Mrs. Desmond, keep grilling. I’m not full yet."
"You can go back to the Police Station and keep staying there."
"How’s that gonna work?" Adrian winked at her and said, "How could I bear to leave Mrs. Desmond alone in an empty bed... all empty down there too, right?"
Under the table, Sienna kicked Adrian.
"Where exactly are you kicking?" Adrian was startled—this woman aimed straight for his family jewels.
"Keep talking nonsense and next time I’ll aim better." Sienna threatened.
Adrian shut up and obediently ate his barbecue. Sienna ordered a glass of red wine and drank it slowly.
Adrian grabbed her hand and downed what was left of her wine in one gulp, only then finally feeling full.
"Full now? I’ll go pay?"
"Full."
Sienna and Adrian stood up together, went to the counter to pay, and left.
...
Sienna had thought this man would follow her home like a good boy, but as they passed a Hotel, Adrian insisted on going in.
There was no way to play dumb about what they’d be doing inside.
"Home." Sienna refused to negotiate.
"Mrs. Desmond, just one hour."
"Home."
Adrian simply dragged Sienna out of the car. The two of them tugged at each other; Sienna got embarrassed and stopped struggling, letting him pull her in.
At the front desk, Adrian asked for a room.
The Hotel staff finished checking them in and asked, "...That’ll be 103 dollars. Will you be paying by card or cash?"
