"Like other expectant fathers, I was very excited. Munni actually took a pregnancy test before she was diagnosed, but it came back negative, and she was really disappointed at that time. So I thought of taking her abroad to relax.

The day we left for Japan, she was a bit off, especially sleepy, almost slept the whole day, and when we arrived in Japan, she vomited. We thought it might be acclimatization, so I advised her to rest well.

With a smile on the corner of his lips, Xu Yisen recalled the scene when he first learned of Qin Muni’s pregnancy, as if it had just happened yesterday. Unexpectedly, five months had passed without notice.

"Wasn’t it a surprise that came too suddenly? How did your family react to it?"

"They were overjoyed and couldn’t find their way home. Now everyone is spoiling her in all sorts of ways. As you can see, I have become the lowest in status at home. If Munni has the slightest emotion, it’s definitely my fault. My grandmother and my parents take turns educating me."

Rather than a formal interview, it felt more like a conversation between longtime friends. The atmosphere between them was very relaxed. Xu Yisen was not as reticent as before; he answered questions with a calm and gentle tone. Coupled with that sunny smile on his face, it made the conversation with him truly pleasant.

Zheng Rujia was amused by his response and continued to ask, "Pregnant women have mood swings, and some even become depressed. How’s Munni doing lately?"

"Munni hasn’t changed much in personality since she got pregnant. The only thing that makes me a bit sad is that she thinks I’m too clingy now."

Although his words sounded like a complaint, there was no real dissatisfaction, but rather a helpless affection towards his dear wife.
