Chapter 752: I’m Afraid

The traffic lights on the crosswalk turned red, and Qin Muni and Xu Yisen both stopped walking, as he lowered his gaze to observe Qin Muni.

His usually deep eyes turned into a warm spring because of the liquor, and his gaze at Qin Muni held no disguise for his affection for her.

Then, he opened his thin lips and said unrestrainedly, "Mrs. Xu, aren’t you afraid tomorrow’s headlines will be... Fanshu Group’s Chairman makes a drunken scene on the street, while his wife hides in the crowd laughing at him or something?"

"Not afraid, actually I’m a bit looking forward to it. You seem quite sober, why don’t we go for a few more drinks?"

"Pfft." Xu Yisen was amused by her suggestion. He released his hold on Qin Muni’s hand, and gently placed the hood of her coat over her head.

"The evening wind is a bit chilly, put on your hood so you don’t catch a cold."

After giving this careful advice, he lowered his eyes to gaze at Qin Muni. Her eyes, bright as stars, watched Xu Yisen tenderly and attentively, as if her world contained only him.

Xu Yisen loved how she looked at him like this, so, after putting the hat on Qin Muni, he couldn’t help but lean down and peck her red lips.

They’ve been married for over three years and still often feel like they’re in the throes of love. Xu Yisen still acts like a teenager in love, secretly looking at his beloved, sometimes stealing kisses in public, or carefully preparing surprises and gifts to make her happy.

Xu Yisen gave Qin Muni a light kiss, feeling instantly satisfied. As he was about to stand up, Qin Muni suddenly reached out and wrapped her arm around Xu Yisen’s neck to continue kissing him.

In the past, whenever Xu Yisen kissed her in public, she would teasingly scold him for not being proper. But today, she seemed different, not at all shy about returning his kiss.

Because of her rare initiative, Yisen felt waves of joy blossom in his heart. One hand held Qin Muni’s nape, while the other encircled her waist.

The traffic lights ahead turned from red to green, and as pedestrians passed beside them, they glanced at the unapologetically kissing couple.

But the kiss didn’t last long; Qin Muni released Xu Yisen, and under the streetlight, her brows and eyes added a few seductive hues, while her peach blossom eyes carried an intoxicating charm.

Xu Yisen couldn’t bear such tempting eyes and leaned in again to lightly kiss her on the tip of her nose, his voice hoarse as he said, "Mrs. Xu, don’t look at me like that. I’m afraid I can’t control myself."

Qin Muni withdrew her tenderness and a playful smile emerged on her face, "Chairman Xu, in public, what do you plan to do if you can’t control yourself?"

"Mrs. Xu, you just couldn’t control yourself and forcibly kissed me in public."

Qin Muni took Xu Yisen’s hand again, crossing the street before the traffic light turned red again.

As they walked, she muttered, "Who forcefully kissed? Clearly, you were the one who sneakily kissed me first."

"Sneakily kissing one’s own wife isn’t illegal."

"Then forcibly kissing your own husband isn’t illegal either."

Qin Muni’s disputatious reasoning made Xu Yisen break into a silent laugh, and he chuckled softly, "Miss Qin, I love you."

"Yes, Mr. Xu, I love you too."
