The doctor had only been out for a while before coming back in, and the smile on his face was even more radiant than before.

As soon as he sat down on the chair, he happily spoke to the couple opposite him, "Congratulations, you’re pregnant."

The doctor smiled and repeated the test result once more, "Congratulations, your wife is pregnant."

The surprise came so unexpectedly that it was a bit overwhelming.

Recently, Qin Muni had taken a pregnancy test that yielded disappointing results, so she hadn’t connected her recent symptoms to pregnancy at all.

Upon reflection, she realized that she had been so busy she forgot that her period still hadn’t come after that test.

Honestly, she had mentally prepared herself for artificial insemination six months later, but didn’t expect... there were still five months left until the deadline that Xu Yisen promised, and she was already pregnant?

The doctor handed the test results to the two of them, advising, "The first three months of pregnancy are not very stable, so you need to pay attention to diet and sleep. You can go to gynecology for an ultrasound; the gynecologist will be more detailed than me."

Both of them were still immersed in the test results that the doctor had just mentioned, and it took them a while to process the doctor’s instructions.

Both quickly stood up and thanked the doctor, then Xu Yisen carefully supported Qin Muni as they walked out of the doctor’s office.

After leaving the office, they both halted their steps. Qin Muni turned to face Xu Yisen, her pretty almond eyes blinking.

They were already misty, clearly about to overflow with joyful tears.

Xu Yisen reached out, gently caressing her cheek, "Muni, you’re amazing."

With those words, he softly pulled her into his embrace.

Qin Muni hugged him back, and the cloud of gloom from two years of infertility vanished in an instant, leaving only clear skies.

Getting through this journey was indeed not easy, but fortunately, they’ve reached the end of their ordeal and found light.

Xu Yisen lowered his head, planting a gentle kiss on Qin Muni’s head, "My beloved girl, you’re amazing."

Qin Muni, her face against Xu Yisen’s chest, let out a small laugh, softly said, "Thank you, Mr. Xu."

The two went to gynecology for an ultrasound. After the gynecologist explained some precautions, they were informed that the placenta was currently in good condition.

After leaving the hospital, Qin Muni and Xu Yisen didn’t plan to meet old friends anymore. They just called Secretary Tang to help book a flight back home for the next day.

Tang Haoliang was a bit puzzled. The two of them had just flown to Japan yesterday and had only been there a day; why were they going back so soon?

Though he was curious, he still booked the return tickets for them.

After they got back from the hospital, Xu Yisen let Qin Muni lie down to rest, making sure she wasn’t overworked.

Qin Muni wasn’t as tired as she was yesterday, and the sudden good news left her without a hint of sleepiness.

She lay on the sofa, resting her head on Xu Yisen’s lap, and looked up at the man whose lips were perpetually curved in a smile, joking, "Look at you, so smug like an old man finally having children."

Xu Yisen reached out, gently touching Qin Muni’s flat belly, finding it hard to believe that a life was now growing inside there... their crystal of love.

"Muni, am I dreaming?"

His silly question finally made Qin Muni burst into laughter, then she teased Xu Yisen again, "So you’ve laughed yourself silly, haven’t you?"
