Chapter 853 The Little Girl

”Will anyone tell me what’s going on?” Aria asked with a heavy look on her face. The competitions were only two days away now. Even the event was announced. It was supposed to be the busiest time for her. And, yet she was here shopping around with her two friends.

”Just accept it. Both of us couldn’t take her any longer..” Elly shook her head with a sigh as she gave a glance at Janet who was excitedly going all over the products on the street side.

Aria let out a helpless grunt before giving up as her shoulders dropped low. She clearly remembered what had happened. They couldn’t take Janet’s depressed and crazy state anymore. The girl had come here planning to have fun, but what awaited her were four boring walls of her room.

”Come here..look at this…” Janet’s voice entered the duo’s ear, and they saw her already standing at the next stand waving her hand.

”She is fast..” Aria shook her head with a smile, and began to walk towards her with Elly by her side.

At this instant, a little figure entered their vision walking towards them from the opposite direction. The little person’s steps seemed uneven, and for some reason a piece of cloth was pulled over by this little guy as if he was trying to use it as a cloak.

”Thud!”

The little guy’s steps suddenly took a drastic change as if he or she had lost control over his or her body and bumped into the person in front.

”Careful!” Aria was quick to react when a stranger bumped into her. Her hand immediately moved to grab the falling person, and she had realized that the person was definitely not conscious from the way he had reacted to the situation.

”Is he fine?” Elly asked with a frown as Aria gently laid the person down. Suddenly, the piece of cloth over the person’s body slipped revealing the figure of a little girl around 8 to 10 years in age.

Her situation seemed to be messy. Her body was burning with fever, and her top was covered in blood.

This scene made both Aria and Elly’s eyes to open wide.

”We need to hurry up..” Aria spoke with a serious look on her face.

”I will get Janet, you call the car..” Elly replied before hurrying to get Janet.

Aria on the other side gently turned the girl and the sight made her expression turn extremely dark. There was a huge cut on the girl’s back, and from the looks of it, it was no accident. The girl was definitely attacked.

And, what was even more shocking was the fact that she escaped.

It was hard to understand how a girl suffering from such a wound could escape unless the person let her to.

’Did he just want her to suffer? What kind of cruel person could do it to such a little girl?’ Aria gritted her teeth in anger.

Ocien Academy, Committee Residence.

A Bald man stood on the balcony of his room looking out at the crowd of students. These were all people who had arrived for the competition which was starting in two days. Aside from that, there were also some staff and workers engaged in preparation of the event in two days.

”Who is next? Come on, let me have some fun..” He spoke with a smile and licked his lips as his predator-like eyes swooped down on the crowd below.

At this moment, the door to his room suddenly opened.

”Did you find anything?” The Bald man asked with a smile as he looked at the person who had just arrived in the room to report.

The man’s face twitched a little, but he nodded.

”Hahaha!!! Good!! See, I told you..something was wrong with that brother-sister pair..” The Bald man laughed hysterically before looking at the guy once again, “So, did she lead us to some place?”

”I don’t think that’s the case..” The man spoke with a little frown.

”Since when did I need your opinion?” The Bald man asked as he tilted his head a little and stared into the man’s eyes with a condescending look.

’These b*stard..’ The guy cursed inwardly. He was actually only this man’s subordinate for this mission to look over the competition. Aside from that, he had no connections with him, and the two weren’t even from the same family.

But, he was well aware of the doings of this psychopathic b*stard.

”That little girl bumped into girls from the Academy, and was taken for treatment after she became unconscious..” The man controlled himself and reported to the bald man.

”Interesting..” The Bald man nodded with a smile.

His smile honestly made the guy’s expression a little grim.

”Those girls are from the main line of the Noble Houses. They probably don’t have anything to do with the girl,” The man further spoke with a serious face.

”You can go..” The bald man just waved his hand as he slowly started to walk towards the balcony again.

”Don’t do anything foolish. You know we can’t afford another blunder with the Noble Houses in the current situation..” The guy finally spoke with a louder tone and a serious look on his face.

”Your bossy tone…did you forget that I am the one in charge?” The Bald man spoke as he turned around to look at the guy.

”I may have overstepped my authority. Report it if you want…” The guy gave him a look and then turned around to leave.

He might be a little weaker than the Bald man, but he was never afraid. No, to be exact, he wasn’t afraid of that fellow’s strength, but his craziness was something sure to be afraid of.

”One shouldn’t have an alive enemy like this guy…” The person muttered as he walked through the hallway. “The b*stard is lucky to have someone protecting his ass..otherwise he would have died a million times by now..”

On the other side….

”She is waking up….” Janet shouted in excitement.

”Calm down..don’t scare her..” Aria berated while shifting her attention to the little girl who had started to wake up. She really couldn’t wait to find out who did something so cruel to a little girl.
