Chapter 335 - The Battle At Factory
Mage Association, Capital.
It didn't take long for the information to reach them and when it did, it shocked everyone present.
One of the Ancient Family had made such a drastic move without any notice or any information.
"I want everyone to mobilise some forces including a Supreme Tier Mage to bring the situation under control." The Mage King said with a serious expression.
Killing them was out of order, they had to suppress them for now…..
"That's out of question, we will definitely mobilise force to help the citizens but going against the Storm Family..." The Lord of Ovens House shook his head.
The House on Guild Union's side had Storm family as their observer, and were under their jurisdiction. It was impossible to think that they would go against them when the reason was not clear.
The Mage King frowned upon his words. Without their help, it might be difficult. He couldn't just let experts from his sides out. First of all, they wouldn't have that many top tier mages to begin with without each family contributing.
After all, most of these people were always out and only a few remained. Not to mention all the Noble Houses were not situated in the Capital.
The Mage King was afraid that if he mobilized top experts only from their side and in an unfortunate event death occurred, that would be a huge blow to them and would even considerably weaken them. After all, just how many could reach that stage of power?
"Take care of the citizens….I will see what is going on...I am sure that the other Ancient families wouldn't just sit idly and let these people do whatever they want…."
A voice entered Mage King's ears. It belonged to his father. It seemed that the old man still hadn't left. He was planning to teach his idiot son a lesson after everyone left but it seems he would have to wait for it now.
...
Clashes were still occurring above in the skies of the capital and the shockwaves continued to shake the city striking terror in people's hearts.
The Lord of Edwinson house took on the four Supremes.
The four people couldn't get any advantage at all. No matter what they tried, the end result remained the same. They were being forced to withdraw.
Max's Grandfather was having trouble holding back. He was too close to killing them, since he was not used to people acting high and mighty in front if him.
"What are you doing? Having trouble with a weak bunch like this?" A condescending voice was heard and the next instant, a reddish slimy like substance latched onto one of the four supreme mages from the ancient family and pulled him away.
The man was pulled all the way and finally ended up in the hands of an old man who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
The Mage struggled but it didn't last long before his limbs went limp and his body gave out.
"You haven't gone crazy, Blackwood?" The Lord of Edwinson House asked as he looked at him.
"Obviously not, I just poisoned him a bit. He will definitely wish death in this situation but rest assured, he won't die….." The old man said as he threw the guy aside without a second care about the height.
The scenes indeed frightened the remaining ones a bit but they still didn't seem to be moving.
"The Ancient Family is really making fun of us….they sent these pests thinking that we won't dare to kill them while they do as they wish…. Doesn't this just make you to try killing them even more?"
The Lord of Edwinson House didn't think that it was a good idea to let this man here. He would be much happier to have anyone else rather than this crazy old man….
…
Recycling Factory, Capital.
Max sighed as he put his shirt back on, Lithiya seemed to be on a crying spree today. Even a mosquito bite to Max would probably make her cry as she would definitely find a way for it to be her fault.
Max was already thinking about his next move the moment his mother had begun trying to push him away. The results didn't look good…..there wasn't any way to escape…..
They couldn't possibly run away from that old man or Grand Elder whatever he called himself.
The Grand Elder suddenly raised his hand as a white ball of light began to conjure in his hand. He didn't seem to be keen on waiting for another second.
That was bad news…..the fluctuations were frightening…he was a supreme after all….
When Max had lost hope and finally decided to play the only last thing he had….his eyes slowly widened as he felt a familiar energy...it was the very first time he had felt it from a source other than his own.
Spirit energy…
Max turned towards his mother to see her hair slightly flutter in the air as her face had turned serious, "No, one hurts my child. Even if you are a family, I won't show mercy…."
"Then you don't need to…." The old man said as the white ray of light blasted out of his hands going straight toward them.
"Come, Queen of the Water, Leviathan!"
"Bang!"
"Scree!!!"
With the call, Max felt that the sky shatter as a cry seemingly from the Ancient era shook the Capital.
Max looked at his mom standing in front of him. He noticed a glow on her back and looked at the giant creature which had appeared in front of them. It looked like a serpent but had oddy distinguished features resembling a dragon, yet its body was too long for it to be one.
There was no doubt about it, Max could tell without a hint of confusion....that was a spirit.
The Factory which they were in seemed to have disappeared in thin air and Max could see the sky above his head.
He looked around to see a few more people around, each one at the level of a Master level Mage. They looked terrified at the appearance of the creature which they haven't ever seen or heard about.
"What are you getting scared for? Can we let a person like her trample over our family's dignity…..capture her...I will tame this beast…" the old man man's thunderous voice encouraged the people around and they immediately turned their head towards Lithiya.
"You really have hidden it well…..What were you planning all along, I will have you thoroughly answer all of it…" the old man further said.
The strongest known beast possessed by Lithiya was only at the level of a peak tier Savage Beast. But this….even the old man was feeling his skin itching looking at that thing…. This only made him further believe that this woman was someone dangerous…..
Edwinson House….
A man was sitting having the laugh of his lifetime as the capital had plunged in chaos.
He didn't know who was the one behind it, but he was thankful. This further gave them a cover to do their job…
"Are you sure the Grand Elder would not let her go, Second Master?" A person asked with a frown.
"The Grand Elder won't. He is just that kind of a man. He is too easy to manipulate. That's the reason he is not the Lord. Just look at the pathetic old man, he lives for the family. Since we successfully delivered the message that my sweet little sister in law was exiled because of cheating my little brother and even having a child without him, I am sure that the old man wouldn't let her go. Let's just wait and enjoy, I am sure we will see our sister in law very soon…"
An evil smile crept on the guys face as he imagined the scene which would soon be in front of him…
