Chapter 84: Chapter 84: Equipment Refinement, Dungeon Invitation

"As expected of the Guild Master. His attacks are always so sharp," Salas couldn’t help but sigh in admiration as he watched the Boss fall in the distance.

"Stop kissing up." Ji Xiaoyu rolled her eyes at him. Yet, seeing Yu Zhun walking toward them, she quickly jogged over to greet him. "You’re amazing, Guild Master!"

Seeing this, Salas curled his lips. He thought, "Heh, what a double-standard rich girl!"

Standing off to the side, the siblings, Su Hong and Su Yue, smiled at each other.

"Get ready to leave," Yu Zhun said.

Looking at his four guild members, a smile graced Yu Zhun’s face.

Salas, who had already reached Lv19 nine days ago, was now Lv22. Ji Xiaoyu, their resident rich girl, had frequently used her "money power" to close the level gap with Salas, also reaching Lv22. The Su Family siblings, currently the lowest-level members in the guild, had advanced to Lv20 and were now equipped with helmets.

The overall strength of all members in the Godslayer Guild had vastly improved.

Chatting and laughing, the group left the Dungeon. As they walked out of the Dungeon Hall, they inevitably drew the attention of many guild players.

Recently, the Godslayer Guild had emerged as a dark horse in Divine Strategy City. Their success rate for achieving perfect Dungeon clears was absurdly high, and they had secured numerous perfect First Clears. Rumors circulated that the Godslayer Guild had already met all other requirements to upgrade to a Three-Star Guild, lacking only the necessary member count. Countless people eagerly waited for the Godslayer Guild to recruit again, but after so many days, the guild showed absolutely no intention of doing so.

"You guys head back first. I’m going to Enhance and upgrade my Equipment," Yu Zhun said, stopping in his tracks before they exited the Divine Revelation Hall.

Upon reaching Lv25, all Equipment could be upgraded to Lv25 through the Enhancer’s [Upgrade] skill, which would cause their attributes to skyrocket once again.

Ji Xiaoyu and the other three nodded in understanding, their faces showing hints of envy. The experience required to level up after Lv20 was immense; Lv25 felt endlessly far away for them, and they had no idea when they would finally reach it.

"Oh, right, Guild Master," Salas suddenly remembered something and quickly spoke up. "My Blacksmith level has reached Lv30, and I’ve unlocked the new skill, [Refinement]. Didn’t you mention last time that you wanted to refine your weapon?"

The Blacksmith skill [Refinement] could target and reroll one specific effect on a piece of Equipment. Although the result was random, it could be used multiple times until a satisfactory effect was obtained.

While the [Linyuan] effect on Yu Zhun’s weapon occasionally came in handy, its usage frequency was far lower than his other Equipment effects. If possible, it would be best to swap it for something more practical.

"You unlocked it?" Yu Zhun’s heart leaped with joy. "I’ll come find you after I finish my Enhancements. My weapon’s durability just dropped below 80, so it’s about time for a reforge anyway."

Reforging Equipment restored its durability, but waiting until it was near zero wasn’t the most cost-effective approach. The lower the durability, the higher the cost to reforge. According to Salas’s calculations, reforging at around 80 durability offered the best value. A few days ago, the durability of Yu Zhun’s Armor, accessories, and helmet had consecutively dropped below 80, and he had already reforged them once. Now, it was time for his weapon—the piece whose durability degraded the slowest.

Ironically, a weapon was typically the piece of Equipment that lost durability the fastest for an Assassin.

Watching his guild members leave, Yu Zhun headed to the Enhancement Room.

"That guy Salas is practically a born Blacksmith," Yu Zhun muttered, shaking his head in envy. "To think he gained the massive amount of experience needed to go from Lv27 to Lv30 so quickly.

"By comparison, I’m much slower.

"Only after today will my Enhancer level reach Lv26."

Looking at the fifty sets of Three Divine Talismans in his inventory, Yu Zhun wondered, "Fifty sets should be enough to Enhance [Nether’s Deep Embrace] from +19 to +20, right?"

[Nether’s Deep Embrace]

[Enhancement Level: +19 → +20]

[Equipment Attributes:

Physical Defense +3024 → Physical Defense +3360

Magic Defense +3024 → Magic Defense +3360]

[Enhancement Cost: Equipment Enhancement Stone x192]

[Enhancement Success Rate: 2.1%] [Luck +929.6%]

[Support Items: Lucky Talisman, Divine Protection Talisman, Level-retaining Talisman]

[Start Enhancement]

After washing his hands at the sink specifically set up in the Enhancement Room for Enhancers who believed in the "metaphysics of luck," Yu Zhun pressed [Start Enhancement].

He thought, "Just close my eyes and go for it!"

Meanwhile, in the main conference room at the Divine Revelation Hall headquarters.

Nine of the Blue Star’s Strongest gathered together, the atmosphere in the room exceptionally solemn.

"Three days left," Zhu Xiuming said, his expression grim. "The special Dungeon, [Red Moon Tide], will disappear in three days.

"Various guilds have sent out hundreds of raiding parties, all of which were top-tier teams, yet they still failed to achieve a perfect clear."

"This Dungeon... is indeed not easy." Beside him, Ji Ruoxu massaged his temples. "I’ve reviewed the raid logs submitted by the guilds. Both of the different strategy routes have ended in dead ends."

"If only you could enter [Red Moon Tide], Ji," Lillian sighed softly. "The difficulty of a perfect clear would be drastically reduced."

"There’s no point in talking about that," Ji Ruoxu said, shaking his head slightly. "Special Dungeons are primarily for Lv30 and Lv40. It’s impossible for one to appear that a Second-Turn Professional can enter.

"We can only place our hopes on the younger generation."

Ji Ruoxu paused briefly, shifting his gaze to Zhu Xiuming. "There’s only half a month left before we have to hand over this year’s Divine Demon Medals.

"How many... are we short?"

"We’re short 120," Zhu Xiuming said, massaging his temples. "Taking down a special Dungeon rewards 100 Divine Demon Medals. If we scrape together a few more, it should be enough."

"After the previous one fell, this new guy has certainly been demanding a lion’s share," Asoka said in a deep voice, his blood-red eyes filled with murderous intent. "If we can’t take down [Blood Red Tide], then let me go into the Dungeons and farm some Divine Demon Medals.

"Killing is what I do best."

"Don’t do anything reckless!" Zhu Xiuming shouted in a low voice, glaring at Asoka. "We can’t afford the consequences of losing another one of the Strongest."

For Dungeons after the Second-Turn, the 1A, 2A, and 3A difficulty tiers no longer existed. All Dungeon difficulties defaulted to 4A, far exceeding the 3A level. Every time they entered a Dungeon, they were risking their lives for a sliver of hope.

"We... actually still have a choice," Zhu Xiuming’s eyes flickered slightly. "I’m just a bit hesitant about whether we should get him involved."

"Yu Zhun?" Ji Ruoxu instantly understood Zhu Xiuming’s implication. "Although he hasn’t been clearing Dungeons for long, his talent in this area is extremely high—even higher than mine was back in the day."

Because his granddaughter was in the Godslayer Guild, he was much more aware of Yu Zhun’s Dungeon-clearing talents than the other Strongest.

"You don’t want to force him," Ji Ruoxu said, seeing through Zhu Xiuming’s thoughts and suddenly smiling. "Then why not ask him what he thinks?

"After all, a special Dungeon is a very lucrative prize.

"I think he’ll be interested."
