Chapter 69: Chapter 69: All the Dungeons Have Been Cleared Out?!

Stepping out of the Teleportation Gate, Yu Zhun had barely regained his footing when he saw several figures marching menacingly toward him.

"Your guild exceeded the time limit for the run," the young man surnamed Song sneered. "For maliciously delaying the run time, we can file an appeal to have the Godslayer Guild blacklisted from Under the Dragon Burial City!"

"Exceeded the time limit?" Yu Zhun glanced at the time, only then realizing that their exit time had bled into the slot allocated for the next raiding party. He gave the furious group before him a helpless look. "Going over the time limit is indeed our fault. After all, it was our first time entering Under the Dragon Burial City, so exploring took a bit more time. But with all due respect, it’s impossible for you to get the Godslayer Guild blacklisted."

Not to mention that the Divine Revelation Hall was secretly looking out for him, the first perfect clear alone was enough to guarantee the Godslayer Guild a green light whenever they applied for the Under the Dragon Burial City Dungeon.

Before the young man surnamed Song could say anything else, Yu Zhun muttered softly, "Calculating the time, it should be about now, right?"

He reached out and snapped his fingers.

"BOOM!!!"

A resplendent golden pillar of light shot up into the sky from the Teleportation Gate behind him, piercing through the dome of the Divine Revelation Hall and soaring into the clouds.

Dungeon Under the Dragon Burial City, first perfect clear!

After a brief moment of silence, the entire Dungeon Hall descended into chaos. Countless players looked over in shock and bewilderment as an uproar of discussions erupted. Meanwhile, Yu Zhun, the instigator of this commotion, appeared very calm. After all, this wasn’t his first time.

As expected, the phenomenon of a first perfect clear was always delayed by a short moment, and the duration of the delay was roughly the same. He had casually snapped his fingers to test it out, but he hadn’t expected the effect to be this good.

"P-Perfect clear?!"

The complexion of the young man surnamed Song instantly turned incredibly ugly. The other guilds eyeing the Under the Dragon Burial City Dungeon also wore incredibly grim expressions.

Had they been beaten to the punch after all?

Hailed as the toughest Level 20 dungeon to crack, Under the Dragon Burial City had been conquered just like that by two obscure players and a small guild that had only just been promoted to Two-Star status.

"What are you still standing around for?" Yu Zhun patted the shoulder of the dumbfounded young man and pointed at the Teleportation Gate. "You guys were already short on time to begin with. Aren’t you going to hurry up and go in?"

The young man surnamed Song abruptly snapped back to his senses and glared viciously at Yu Zhun. In that brief moment, he had figured it out. There was only one way to prevent Under the Dragon Burial City, the hardest Level 20 dungeon, from falling into the hands of the Godslayer Guild. And that was for another perfect clear to occur today! It had to be today; even tomorrow would be too late. If nothing unexpected happened, the Godslayer Guild would be able to directly monopolize all the run times tomorrow, claiming this dungeon as their own!

Only if a second perfect clear occurred today could another guild gain equal say over the dungeon. Could they do it? The young man surnamed Song asked himself. It would be very difficult. But it wasn’t completely impossible!

A sharp glint flashed in his eyes as he thought of his guild’s brand-new strategy for the dungeon. They would take the hidden route and hand over the God’s relic to the Dragon Burial City Lord!

No one could predict what would happen from this action. After all, according to the old man in the dungeon, the City Lord might break the Curse as a result and gain the power of the God of Light, which could potentially cause the raiding party to be instantly wiped out. But for the sake of the guild’s resources, he could only take the risk and try!

"Follow me in!" With his confidence restored, the young man surnamed Song glanced at his team members before stepping into the Teleportation Gate.

One second...

Two seconds...

Three seconds...

The raiding party members standing on the Teleportation Gate exchanged bewildered looks.

"What’s going on?" the young man surnamed Song couldn’t help but look at the Divine Revelation Hall staff member nearby. "Teleport us!"

"Hold on a second..." The staff member’s hands flew across the controls, his forehead already beginning to sweat. "What the... Why can’t I connect to the Under the Dragon Burial City Dungeon?!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire Dungeon Hall fell silent. The gazes that the crowd cast toward Yu Zhun and Ji Xiaoyu suddenly became rather peculiar. Although a first perfect clear was extremely rare, it wasn’t completely unprecedented. But for a dungeon to lose connection... Did they raid the dungeon so hard that they erased it from existence? In all their lives, this was the first time they had seen something so absurd.

Yu Zhun was speechless. He silently glanced at Ji Xiaoyu beside him. She wore an innocent and bewildered expression.

Just as the atmosphere in the hall turned incredibly bizarre, a figure strode into the Dungeon Hall and arrived in front of the Teleportation Gate.

"Hall Master Zhu!" The staff member quickly stood up, a look of panic on his face. A Permanent Dungeon had just vanished into thin air. He wouldn’t be made to take the blame for this, would he?

Zhu Zhe silently walked up to the Teleportation Gate and placed a hand on it, as if feeling for something. The next instant, his mouth twitched violently. With a somewhat complicated gaze, he looked at Yu Zhun and Ji Xiaoyu.

Yu Zhun’s heart immediately leapt into his throat. According to his guesses, Zhu Zhe should be a higher-up in the Divine Revelation Hall who knew about his talent, and he was also the one secretly looking out for him. But it seemed he had stirred up a massive hornet’s nest this time. Could it be that even the Divine Revelation Hall couldn’t cover for him?

Ji Xiaoyu’s heart also raced. That scar... That aura... She suddenly thought of an elder she had met once when she was a child. Even he had come?! Ji Xiaoyu trembled like a leaf, her chest heaving heavily. They were so dead. Just how massive was the disaster they had caused? Could it be that even her grandfather wouldn’t be able to protect her this time?

"An anomaly has occurred in the Permanent Dungeon, Under the Dragon Burial City. All subsequent runs for today are canceled, and no further run applications will be accepted until the anomaly is repaired," Zhu Zhe said in a deep voice. Then, he pointed at Yu Zhun and Ji Xiaoyu. "You two, come with me."

The young man surnamed Song was completely dumbfounded. He wanted to curse, but remembering that the person in front of him had been addressed as "Hall Master Zhu," he forcibly swallowed his words. He could only watch in frustration as Zhu Zhe led the two out of the Dungeon Hall.

"Captain, are we still doing the run?" a bewildered team member asked from behind.

"Run? Run my ass!" The young man surnamed Song backhanded the team member across the head. "Didn’t you hear that the subsequent runs have been canceled? It’s gone! This dungeon is gone forever! Let’s go. We’re returning to the guild!" He quickly calmed down. "This matter is huge. The Guild Master needs to know about it immediately."

Saying so, he strode out of the Dungeon Hall. He wasn’t the only raiding party doing the same. It wouldn’t be long before all the major guilds in Divine Strategy City would be shaken by this astonishing news.
