Chapter 146: Chapter 126: Old Friends and New Friends

Yu Zhun wasn’t completely devoid of experience in clearing 4A Dungeons; after all, he had previously entered the [Nether Abyss]. However, that was a strength-based Dungeon where one simply slaughtered their way through. A 4A-difficulty story Dungeon was an entirely different ball game. Moreover, even if he had the experience, the rest of the [Godslayer] guild did not.

Therefore, Liu Xiongfei’s proposal truly scratched an itch for him.

For their first time entering a 4A Dungeon, it would certainly be best to have someone guide them. However, being guided didn’t mean they were willing to be restricted. Thus, they needed to thoroughly discuss the relevant details with the other party.

Yu Zhun exchanged a glance with the wealthy lady, and the two quickly reached a consensus. Shortly after, the sound of negotiations filled the conference room. It didn’t take long for the two guilds to come to an agreement.

The Dungeon run was scheduled for two days later. The [Godslayer] guild would dictate the required Professions, and the [Moon-devouring Celestial Wolf] guild would provide nine members who met those needs. Six members from [Godslayer] and nine from [Moon-devouring Celestial Wolf] would form a 15-person raid team to enter the Lv40 Dungeon, [Giant Demon Valley].

Yu Zhun would serve as the leader of this expedition. The nine members from [Moon-devouring Celestial Wolf] were to follow his orders and not act on their own. Considering that the [Godslayer] guild’s headquarters was not in Divine Radiance City, the actual beneficiary of the clearing strategy would be the [Moon-devouring Celestial Wolf] guild. Therefore, if they successfully cleared the Dungeon, all standard rewards from the run would go to [Godslayer]. Any additional gains outside of the Dungeon’s baseline drops would belong to the individual players—this specifically referred to the loot obtained from killing players from other servers.

After finalizing all the details, Yu Zhun stood up and shook Liu Xiongfei’s hand.

"Pleasure doing business with you."

Standing to the side, Ji Xiaoyu smiled faintly and took out her [Communication Button].

[Ji Xiaoyu: @All Members, we’ve got work to do!]

[Enhancement Success]

As the large Golden words popped up before his eyes, Yu Zhun couldn’t help but let out a long exhale, his expression relaxing.

"Two days... I’ve finally raised the Enhancement levels of all five pieces of Legendary Equipment, including my weapon, to +20."

Because of his helmet’s Equipment effect, [Strife], Yu Zhun’s Physical Defense and Magic Defense received an additional boost equal to 10% of his Physical Attack. This was by no means a small amount; on the contrary, it was highly substantial.

However, this was not his primary reason for enhancing his weapon. He then looked at the Enhancement panel for the [Nether Mourning Demon Blade]. When he tried once more to add the Three Divine Talismans as auxiliary items...

[Prompt: For Enhancements above +20, please use Golden Quality items.]

The Three Divine Talismans were of red quality and could not be used for Enhancements above +20. Replacing them were three Golden Quality items: [Celestial Grace - Lucky Talisman], [Celestial Grace - Level-retaining Talisman], and [Celestial Grace - Divine Protection Talisman].

[Celestial Grace - Lucky Talisman: Auxiliary item. Grants +1500 Luck to the current Profession skill. Only one can be used at a time.]

[Celestial Grace - Level-retaining Talisman: Auxiliary item. Grants +500 Luck to the current Profession skill. Prevents level drop upon failure. Only one can be used at a time.]

[Celestial Grace - Divine Protection Talisman: Auxiliary item. Grants +500 Luck to the current Profession skill. Prevents Equipment damage upon failure. Only one can be used at a time.]

These three items could only be exchanged in the [Divine Demon Store]. This discovery meant the funds Yu Zhun had prepared to continue enhancing his other four pieces of Equipment past +20 were suddenly useless. Because of this, he had no choice but to enhance his weapon instead, which offered a lower cost-performance ratio.

However...

After re-equipping the [Nether Five-piece Set] and looking at his once-again skyrocketing stats panel, Yu Zhun was still very pleased.

800,000 HP!

370,000 Physical Attack!

150,000 Physical Defense and Magic Defense!

So satisfying!

Walking briskly out of the premier Enhancement Room, Yu Zhun casually opened his Life Profession panel. After a series of consecutive Enhancements, his Life Profession level had broken through Lv30, reaching Lv32, and simultaneously unlocked his fourth Profession skill.

A skill that could only be described as godly for an Enhancer.

[Profession Skill 4 (Luck Accumulation): Each Enhancement failure increases Luck by 5%. This effect resets upon Enhancement Success.]

With this Profession skill, every time Yu Zhun failed an Enhancement, his Luck would increase by a certain amount, thereby slightly raising the success rate of the next attempt and reducing the consumption of Enhancement resources.

In layman’s terms: it saved money.

"Looking at the time, we’re just about due to enter the [Giant Demon Valley] Dungeon." Stepping out of the Divine Revelation Hall, Yu Zhun glanced at the sky before heading straight for the temporary base provided by the [Moon-devouring Celestial Wolf] guild for [Godslayer] in Divine Radiance City.

As soon as he arrived at the base, Yu Zhun saw Salas walking toward him with a smile on his face, holding a dagger in his hand.

"Guild Leader, the reforging is complete! I’ve performed the Refinement just as you requested!"

"Let me see." Yu Zhun smiled and took it.

[Falcon’s Fury Song Dagger +20]

[Equipment Description: The song of a falcon soaring through the skies; the primal prelude to speed and slaughter!]

[Equipment Level: Lv35]

[Equipment Quality: Epic (Red)]

[Equipment Slot: Weapon]

[Equipment Durability: 100]

[Equipment Attributes: Physical Attack +30,000]

[Equipment Effect 1 (Frenzied Song): Dash 10 meters in a designated direction. Upon landing, immediately gain a 100% boost to agility for 5 seconds. cooling: 20s]

[Equipment Effect 2 (Eagle Strike): Mark a hostile target. Within 10 seconds, you can actively dash directly in front of them. cooling: 30s]

[Equipment Effect 3 (Instant Trace): Increase speed by 200% and agility by 100% for 2 seconds. cooling: 20s. Consumes 60 Mana Value.]

"How about it? These are the skills you wanted, right?" Salas crossed his arms, a smug look on his face.

This time, there was no way the Guild Leader would be dissatisfied!

Yu Zhun was indeed very satisfied.

Because of [Unrivaled Sword Dance], he could fight using two weapons simultaneously. However, when switching to his secondary weapon, he would only be wearing four pieces of the Nether Set, meaning his overall Equipment attribute boost would drop to 43%.
