Chapter 142: Chapter 124: Everyone’s Choice

After the members of the Godslayer Guild familiarized themselves with each other’s new First Turn Professions, they faced an inevitable question.

"Guild Leader, what’s our guild’s Dungeon-clearing plan next?" Ji Xiaoyu looked at Yu Zhun with a hint of anticipation.

Hearing this, Yu Zhun fell silent for a moment.

Ever since he learned the truth about the Divine Revelation World and Blue Star’s current predicament, a lingering sense of urgency had weighed on his heart. True, Blue Star was protected by the nine Strongest, the massive Divine Revelation Hall, and a multitude of powerful players. But relying on others was never as good as relying on oneself. True strength meant being powerful enough to protect everything personally.

It might sound arrogant, but...

He wanted to become a God!

Following the First Turn, the rate of experience acquisition slowed down slightly compared to before. Yet, due to the massive base requirement, the sheer amount of experience needed to level up still grew at an astonishing rate.

From Level 31 to Level 40, the required experience was still in the millions. From Level 41 to Level 50, it skyrocketed into the tens of millions. Pushing further to Level 51 and up to Level 60, it reached the hundreds of millions.

Furthermore, because of the introduction of 4A difficulty in First Turn Permanent Dungeons, the rewards from 3A difficulty runs had dropped significantly. Even in a Level 60 Dungeon, a single run on 3A difficulty yielded no more than 500,000 experience points.

This was exactly why players with Initial Professions before the class change could reach Level 30 in just a few years at most, whereas First Turn players measured their leveling progress in decades or even lifetimes.

Did they want to level up fast? Improve quickly?

There was, of course, a way.

They had to enter the incredibly dangerous 4A Dungeons. Not only would they secure vastly superior Dungeon rewards, but they could also kill players from other servers, looting their Equipment, items, and Divine Demon Medals. Both the gear and the medals were immensely valuable.

Yu Zhun’s experience in the Nether Abyss was proof enough of this. High risk brought high reward!

Since he aimed to become a God, Yu Zhun couldn’t afford to waste his time in 3A Dungeons; he had to accelerate his pace of improvement. Moreover, if he didn’t even dare to enter 4A Dungeons during his First Turn, he would inevitably shrink back when faced with Second-Turn Dungeons—where 4A was the *only* available difficulty. If that happened, he might end up no different from those Second-Turn players who remained forever stuck at Level 61!

Therefore, Yu Zhun had to push himself. For his First Turn Permanent Dungeon runs, he intended to focus primarily on 4A difficulty, perhaps even exclusively.

But...

This was solely his own decision. He couldn’t force all the guild members to do the same.

After a brief silence, Yu Zhun looked at the guild members waiting on him. "Do you all know that you can choose 4A difficulty after the First Turn?"

Ji Xiaoyu, Sheila, and the Su family siblings nodded in unison.

Salas looked a bit confused, but after Su Hong leaned close and whispered an explanation, a look of sudden realization dawned on him, and he drew a sharp breath.

He thought, "Holy shit! That sounds intense!"

"After the First Turn, I plan to focus primarily on 4A difficulty Permanent Dungeons, but you don’t have to make the same choice," Yu Zhun said slowly. "If you opt for 3A, then..."

"I choose 4A," Ji Xiaoyu interrupted without hesitation. As a descendant of the Strongest, she was privy to information that someone of her current power level shouldn’t logically know. Naturally, she wasn’t going to back down now.

"Same here." Sheila remained expressionless.

Her reasons for choosing it were identical to Ji Xiaoyu’s. The descendants of the Strongest enjoyed resources and conditions far beyond the reach of ordinary players, so they inherently bore greater responsibilities. If she chose to cower, not only would she be mocked, but her elders would become a laughingstock as well.

"My choice is also 4A Dungeons," Su Hong said with a smile.

He hadn’t known about 4A Dungeons for long. Just two days prior, while he was still preparing for his First Turn trial, Su Mingde had pulled him and Su Yue aside and sternly explained what 4A Dungeons entailed.

Su Mingde’s original intention was for Su Hong and Su Yue to choose the relatively safer 3A Dungeons after their First Turn, or to gradually transition into management and logistics roles within the Godslayer Guild, stepping away from the front lines. After all, as a father, he didn’t want to outlive his own children.

However, upon learning the details of 4A Dungeons, Su Hong had firmly refused. He knew very well that his teammates wouldn’t settle for 3A Dungeons.

And he absolutely would not abandon his teammates!

After confirming Su Hong’s resolve, Su Mingde’s heart had filled with worry, but also a measure of pride. After all, his son dared to do what he himself did not! In the end, Su Mingde hadn’t tried to persuade him otherwise; he merely gave Su Hong all the family’s available savings.

An elder should not hold back the younger generation.

"I—I choose 4A too!" Su Yue jerked her head up, her short black hair swaying as her obsidian eyes sparkled. "I am a Resurrection High Priest! A 4A Dungeon is exactly where I belong!"

Only there could her Resurrection skill truly reach its maximum potential!

"If you’re all going, then I’m going too," Salas said, scratching his head. "I just changed my Profession to Curse Calamity. You can’t just leave me at the guild as a mere utility tool, can you?"

Hearing this, everyone couldn’t help but laugh.

"Alright, in that case, let me lay out a simple plan." Yu Zhun took a deep breath. "First, regarding the clearing of our old Dungeons."

For the Level 20 Dungeon, Bloody City, the Godslayer Guild possessed the perfect strategy. However, since all members had exceeded the level cap, they hadn’t run it in a long time. Because it was only a single Dungeon, it wasn’t a huge pity.

Yet, when it came to Level 30 Dungeons, the Godslayer Guild held the perfect clearing strategies for seven or eight of them. Now that everyone had completed their First Turn, they were locked out of those Dungeons as well, which was a significant loss.
