Chapter 130: Chapter 118: Hidden Class Change Path!
"A-are you really giving these to us?!"
Su Hong stared dumbfounded at the mountain of Red Equipment before him. His face, already illuminated by the red glow of the gear, rapidly flushed even redder with excitement. It was all Red Equipment! And not just standard Red Equipment! These were all +20 Enhanced Red Equipment!
"Pick out what suits you and use it for now," Yu Zhun said, waving his hand dismissively. "If you want to keep them, you can just pay me back gradually later."
Taking Enhancement fees into account, a single piece of +20 Red Equipment would cost at least two or three hundred million. Expecting Salas and the Su siblings to buy them right now was unrealistic. With the First Turn trial approaching, he would let them borrow the gear first and figure out the rest later.
Su Hong was a Warrior, so there was plenty of Equipment suitable for him in the pile. Salas and Su Yue were Priests. Although Yu Zhun hadn’t killed any Priests in the Nether Abyss, the two already possessed epic-tier weapons. As for other Equipment, Priests and Mages could generally use the same items interchangeably. Receiving Yu Zhun’s definitive answer, the three joyfully picked out the Equipment that suited them, occasionally letting out gasps of amazement.
There were no weaklings among those capable of entering the Nether Abyss. Their Equipment was not only maxed out in Enhancement, but the Equipment effects had also been refined to their absolute optimal stats.
Soon, Su Hong finished choosing his gear. He selected Marcell’s set. The latter’s Equipment effects were completely stacked with damage reduction, making it perfect for a tank-route Warrior like Su Hong. Su Yue chose Zelos Hill’s set. That Mage, who possessed the SSS-rank talent Arcane Destruction, had Equipment stacked full of Magic Attack, cooling, and Mana Recovery. Paired with Su Yue’s own talent, her healing output would go through the roof. Salas mixed and matched parts of Nivea and Pasol’s gear, putting together a set that offered tankiness, Mana Recovery, and cooling.
"Sa, see which of these items need to be reforged," Yu Zhun said, rubbing his chin. "After reforging, pick some out to sell, and leave the rest in the guild as our guild reserve."
This way, new members who lacked Red Equipment could temporarily borrow some in the future. Anyway, once he entered 4A Dungeons later on, he could kill even more people for gear.
"Got it!" Salas, having just assembled his Red Equipment, flashed an "OK" gesture. Even though reforging so many pieces of Red Equipment would be incredibly tedious, this was Red Equipment for everyone. He had to get it done!
"Oh, right." Remembering something, Yu Zhun pulled a pile of items from his inventory and tossed them to Salas. "Study these and figure out what they do. See if you can replicate them. Our guild’s item supply depends entirely on you!"
Salas and the other members were completely speechless. They all wondered if their guild master had really gone out and robbed people.
After thoroughly shocking the guild members, Yu Zhun dusted his hands and left, leaving the rest of the group still somewhat dazed.
The wealthy lady and Sheila both needed to perform Enhancement Transfers and re-enhance their Equipment. Salas had to reforge gear while simultaneously studying the massive bundle of items Yu Zhun had brought back; he was already prepared to work himself to the bone. The Su siblings were busy leveling up and still needed to adapt to their new Equipment. For the next two days, everyone was destined to be incredibly busy.
Yu Zhun had no intention of completing a full set of the Nether Series Red Equipment. Instead, he sold all ten self-selected pieces. Even if he assembled the five-piece set, it would only grant an additional 10% Set Attributes. Since the new gear would require Enhancement Transfer followed by re-enhancing back to +20, it was simply not worth the cost.
After all, once his First Turn was over, he would be able to use Legendary Equipment. For the First Turn trial, maintaining his current state was more than enough. Besides, he figured the First Turn trial couldn’t possibly be harder than the Nether Abyss.
Walking all the way from the guild to the Divine Revelation Hall, Yu Zhun spotted Zhu Zhe striding over before he even went inside. He broke into a grin.
"Senior, I cleared it."
"I know." Zhu Zhe stopped in his tracks, his eyes full of admiration as he looked at Yu Zhun. "I was just about to go looking for you."
The two walked over to a quiet corner. Zhu Zhe spoke up nervously, "You... redeemed the Reassignment Card, right?"
"I did," Yu Zhun nodded firmly. "I plan to undertake the First Turn trial in a couple of days. I’ll be able to use it then."
"Senior, did you redeem one too?" Yu Zhun asked suddenly.
"Yeah, I also..." Zhu Zhe nodded instinctively, then suddenly realized what he was saying. His expression froze slightly.
Sure enough. Yu Zhun felt a sense of certainty; his previous guess had just been confirmed. He realized that Senior Zhu Zhe was the last person from Blue Star to enter the Nether Abyss. Decades ago, he had an SSS-rank talent and a hidden Profession class change. As long as such a person didn’t die, they were bound to have already become one of the Strongest. If he remembered correctly, the individual at the very top of the Nine Strongest also had the surname Zhu. At this thought, the way Yu Zhun looked at Zhu Zhe grew peculiar.
"Ahem." After coughing twice strategically, Zhu Zhe’s expression returned to normal. "I came to find you mainly for two things. First, these are the materials regarding the First Turn trial."
Zhu Zhe pulled out a very thick stack of documents and handed them to Yu Zhun.
"Not immediately entering the First Turn trial after clearing the Nether Abyss was the right call. Although the latter isn’t as difficult as the former, it’s still somewhat troublesome." Zhu Zhe paused slightly before continuing. "It’s good to make some preparations.
"Second, do you remember the server numbers of the seven players you killed in the Nether Trial?"
"I remember." Yu Zhun nodded and rattled off the numbers.
Killing someone was equivalent to forging a grudge with their corresponding server. Even though dying in a solo Dungeon meant the opponent’s server might not necessarily know who the killer was, it was always better to be careful.
"9023... That’s a Divine Zone." Seeing the four-digit number, Zhu Zhe furrowed his brow slightly.
"Senior, is there a problem?" Yu Zhun blinked.
"It’s not a big deal." Zhu Zhe shook his head slightly. "The Gods of a Divine Zone are capable of tracing back through a 4A Dungeon to find the killer."
