Chapter 272 - 102: Clothing Brand Qingyan LAVUE (3)

Ten people per set... so eighteen sets would require 180 people.

I really need to find my own clothing factory. Otherwise, it would take me forever to do this all by myself.

She took a sip of water and finally felt like she’d come back to life.

She rolled her neck and happened to see a comment on the stream asking if she was planning to open a clothing store.

She cleared her throat twice and nodded. "Yes, I am planning to open a clothing store. In fact, it’s already being renovated."

"To be honest, the idea to open a clothing store came up pretty suddenly."

Jiang Li gave a wry smile. "A while ago, I was trying to buy maternity clothes, but I found that there were no good styles, and none of them looked good. Then I went to a regular women’s clothing store, and the sales associate said their clothes wouldn’t work with my baby bump."

Just thinking about how she felt that day made Jiang Li want to crush the competition in women’s apparel.

If they weren’t going to make good clothes, then they couldn’t blame her for coming to get a piece of the pie.

"So I thought, why not design the clothes myself? I want more of my sisters out there to be able to wear clothes that fit them properly."

As soon as she said this, many people in the comments section chimed in with their agreement.

After all, the quality and design of women’s clothing really had been getting worse and worse.

A size S used to fit someone who weighed 110 pounds, but now a size S is practically a child’s size.

It was still okay for thin people; buying clothes wasn’t as difficult.

But for anyone even slightly larger, clothes shopping was a complete disaster.

Most clothes in brick-and-mortar stores wouldn’t fit, and clothes bought online looked nothing like the pictures or the sizing was completely off.

Jiang Li hadn’t expected so many people to resonate with her feelings. It seemed her decision was the right one.

She tapped her fingers on the table. "I haven’t thought of a brand name yet. Since there are so many of you here right now, why don’t you help me think of one?"

Instantly, the stream was flooded with all sorts of names like "Jiang Jiang," "Jinlu," and "Lucky."

The corner of Jiang Li’s mouth twitched. ’Looks like I’ll have to think of a name myself after all.’

Just as she had that thought, a comment drifted across the screen: Qingyan LAVUE.

Jiang Li’s eyes lit up. "Sister! That name is absolutely perfect! Qingyan LAVUE."

"DM me later. I absolutely have to send you a red envelope for this."

She chatted on with her viewers for a while longer until Shen Yanzhi called her for dinner. Only then did Jiang Li reluctantly end the stream.

The moment she was offline, she immediately found the fan who had suggested "Qingyan LAVUE" and transferred 10,000 to them on the spot.

Sitting down at the dining table, her gaze landed on Xie Wan, who was setting out the dishes. "Wanwan, go register the name ’Qingyan LAVUE’ right now. I’m afraid someone else will beat me to it."

Xie Wan nodded. "Alright, I’ll go right now."

She immediately turned and walked toward the elevator.

Shen Yanzhi ladled a bowl of soup and placed it in front of Jiang Li, his voice full of concern. "Have some soup first. You talked so much just now, your throat must be sore."

If he could, he would have streamed for Jiang Li in her place.

But Jiang Li wouldn’t let him. "You’re so handsome. If one of them charms you away, who would I even complain to?"

Jiang Li blew a kiss to Shen Yanzhi, then picked up the soup bowl and drank it all down in a few quick gulps.

During a previous check-up, the doctor had told her not to have soups high in purines, so the soups she drank now were basically all vegetable-based broths.

Perhaps considering how much she’d talked during the stream today, they had prepared a snow pear, snow fungus, and lily bulb soup for lunch.

She did feel much better after drinking it, and she even ate an extra bowl of rice.

Xie Wan returned two hours later. The name was registered.

Jiang Li immediately had Xie Wan contact a design firm to create a storefront sign for the brand and sent Sheng Mingyue to acquire a clothing factory with a good reputation.

Another month passed. Just as Jiang Li was about to give birth, Qingyan LAVUE officially opened for business.

The store was located downtown. It was over 300 square meters, split between two floors.

The lower floor was dedicated entirely to ready-to-wear items, and it also had a lounge area.

The upper floor was for bespoke services and was divided into multiple private salons to offer clients maximum privacy.

As for the clothes she had promised to give away to fans during her livestream, they had been sent out long ago.

Some recipients had even posted photos of themselves wearing the clothes on social media, building up anticipation for Qingyan LAVUE even before its grand opening.

Jiang Li had originally wanted to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, but because she was so far along in her pregnancy, Shen Yanzhi wouldn’t let her, fearing it wasn’t safe.

After all, with so many people coming and going, if someone accidentally bumped into her, who could possibly bear that responsibility?

She could only have Sheng Mingyue livestream the grand event for her.

Perhaps because of all the prior hype, a large crowd gathered at the entrance as soon as the store opened, with some people having traveled from out of town specifically for the event.
