He wasn’t lying. He had never been here before and didn’t even know the private room number, so how could he possibly know the way?

The only reason he had been walking ahead was that Jiang Li and Zhong Mufeng were moving slowly as they chatted.

Zhong Mufeng looked at Jiang Li with an innocent expression. "Your Honor, when did I try to sow discord? I was just making a casual remark. Why are you making such a big deal out of it?"

Then she turned to Shen Yanzhi and said with disapproval, "Look at you. Qingbao didn’t mean anything by it. Why are you acting like this?"

Shen Yanzhi took a deep breath. ’No wonder so many people like green-tea types.’

’If he weren’t the target of Zhong Mufeng’s green-tea act, he’d probably like it too.’

As a mature man, Shen Yanzhi immediately softened his stance. "My apologies."

Zhong Mufeng nodded in satisfaction. "I accept your apology. After all, you didn’t mean it."
