"It's a secret chamber nobody knows about. Not even Ah Hao and Xiao Ming. My mother in law and I used to come here and experiment with new things to make perfume in our traditional way. If you feel like it, you can come and make some too."

"Thanks, Aunty." Luo Lixi smiled as she looked down on her first product. As she lifted the little shiny glass bottle and sniffed, her whole face creased into disgust. 

'Why does it smell like rotten eggs?!' As Luo Lixi thought, she glanced at Wei Airan. Upon noticing that her mother in law was busy with her own, she poured down the liquid into the trash can and went ahead to do anew!

A row of black cars entered the construction site. The morning sky was clear and there wasn't even a wisp of cloud. Under the scorching sun, many bodyguards in black came out from the cars. 

The busy workers stopped for a minute and turned to see the commotion. As Sheng Ruming got out, he swept his glance around the area and frowned. As if he was looking for someone but didn't find him. 

Chen Shubin immediately noticed him and turned around. Beside him, Zhou Lei was sweating like a dam had broken but the man was still engrossed in his observation on the work of one worker.

Xiao Huang held a black umbrella to protect the young man from the heat. As they walked ahead, the other guards scattered around the site to ward off any danger. 

"Ahh, finally, our great CEO has remembered that he has work to do?" Chen Shubin joked as he walked up to him. 

The man was drenched in sweat. Even wiping with tissues was useless as the tissues turned into disgusting paste. Sheng Ruming paused in his steps and stared at him. 

He couldn't help but twist his nose as he asked, "Why are you so drenched? Also, your clothes… Damn, Shubin! I can even see the hairs on your chest sticking out!" 

Chen Shubin immediately covered his chest with his two hands dramatically as if a pervert was peeking on him. He retorted Sheng Ruming fiercely, "Ha! I have been here for more than 6 hours! Without eating and drinking anything and worried sick! Unlike a certain man who started the project and vanished with a poof!"

When Chen Shubin talked, saliva came out from his mouth but the man was too angry to even notice. Sheng Ruming's eyes darkened as he stepped forward. 

Watching this, Chen Shubin stiffened and backed away in fear. Afterwards, he yelled out fiercely, "Hey! Hey! Even if you are my friend, you can't beat me in front of everyone!"

Right at this time, something crashed against Chen Shubin's back. As the man was startled in the first place, he became more flustered and turned around. Before he could open his mouth, another empty water bottle was thrown at him and this time that thing perfectly slapped his cheek.

"Chen Shubin, don't shout! Can't you see I am working on a serious matter! If the base of the first pillar goes wrong, you will be the culprit!" 

As it turned out, it was Zhou Lei who assaulted Chen Shubin two times. He couldn't endure the shouts of anyone when he was in the midst of figuring something out. 

When Zhou Lei saw that Chen Shubin was going to spat out something, he sneered and exposed him to Sheng Ruming, "Boss, this lazy shiet here has already finished two bottles of water before he came. All the things he told you before were lies! Rather, it's us and other workers who didn't eat or drink anything!"

The workers who were watching from the sidelines, couldn't help but shiver just by watching this scene. One murmured slowly in panic, "Don't they fear that the CEO will fire them?!"

Xiao Huang facepalmed himself in his mind when he heard it. He knew that Sheng Ruming went easy on those two men because they were his friends but sometimes, these would turn so dense that they forgot the time and place they were in. 

"Cough!" At Xiao Huang's intentional cough, the other three men turned to him. Sheng Ruming narrowed his eyes as he asked, "Huang, did you catch a cold? The weather is so hot. You should take care of yourself."

"Ahh… thanks for your concern, sir. I am fine." Xiao Huang replied with a straight face. 

Sheng Ruming turned to Chen Shubin and asked, "Where is Liu Azhen?" 

"Azhen? Oh, you mean that rascal young master who is the capital city's mayor's son?" Zhou Lei stopped for a moment and asked. At his questions, nobody replied. 

He took it as confirmation and pointed at one way, "Boss, go there and you will find him." After saying this, he toned down his voice and whispered, "As per your wish, that arrogant fella has been sent to experience life!"

When he said that both he and Chen Shubin smiled mysteriously. Sheng Ruming walked towards the pointed area and stopped. Before the ground was missing and a stair was attached here to go down in the underground. 

When he looked down, Sheng Ruming saw several men who were working there. All of them were labourers who were moving bricks and rods. When he swept a quick glance, a figure caught his attention. 

There, Liu Azhen was covered in mud as he helped the workers. He appeared very miserable and seemed like a lost sheep. 

Others were working at a good pace and doing their work vigilantly but he was already dying to move some bricks. Sheng Ruming crouched down and shouted, "Azhen, be careful! Don't drop the bricks and break! Or, you'll have to pay from your wallet!"

But as soon as his voice faded, Liu Azhen stumbled upon a bump on the ground and fell down. The next second, all the bricks broke and the man fell on the ground as well. 

Liu Azhen saw the broken bricks while he sat helplessly on the ground. After a while, he lifted his head and shot Sheng Ruming an agonizing look. "Bro, did you really have to jinx it like that?"

Sheng Ruming paused and stared at him. Then he smiled coldly and murmured, "Well, I have come here to watch your sufferings. If you didn't jinx it, then it would have been wrong."

Liu Azhen had already stood up and panted heavily. He glanced around and then walked up the temporary stairs. When he saw Sheng Ruming from so close, a sudden idea dawned on him. 

"Bro, I am a fucking engineering! I don't want to experience life anymore. Don't torment me, ok?" After Liu Azhen finished, he abruptly ran towards Sheng Ruming. But before he could succeed and hug Sheng Ruming, Xiao Huang moved and pointed his gun towards him. 

"Young master Azhen, if you don't want to get injured, please restrain yourself." Xiao Huang said in a grave tone as he pointed the gun at Liu Azhen's head. 

Liu Azhen hurriedly raised his hands on top of his head and aggrievedly glanced at Sheng Ruming. The latter saw his pitiful situation and finally asked, "Do you know your mistake?"

Liu Azhen nodded his head like a pecking chick. Thus, Xiao Huang retracted his gun. Liu Azhen sighed as shrugged his shoulders, "Well, I won't butt in your decisions ever. I am an engineer and I will do only my part of the work." 

Sheng Ruming heard him and said with a threatening tone, "You better! Or else, next time, you will be down in the river to experience life!"

Sheng Ruming was able to torment Liu Azhen so much because the latter's uncle had told him to do whatever Sheng Ruming would say or else his bank cards would be frozen. On top of that he knew that the young man was raising a lover outside secretly.

Thus, without another way, Liu Azhen was forced to work in the field of the construction site by Sheng Ruming because he had acted unrestrained in a meeting and retorted against Sheng Ruming heavily. 

Even though he was just playing around, the company wasn't a place where anybody could play around, especially in front of the CEO even if he was a friend of his.

Sheng Ruming turned around and shouted, "All of you, stop working for half an hour and rest! As for you Azhen, follow me."

Thus Liu Azhen was brought to Zhou Lei. In a second all the three of them became serious and they discussed the design and the shape of the large bridge for nearly two hours. 

Sheng Ruming saw the site and thought with a pleasant feeling, 'Finally, in a few days, the first pillar of the bridge will be done…'

While he was gazing at the work, Liu Azhen went beside him and whispered, "Ming…"

Sheng Ruming turned around and stared at Liu Azhen. The latter stuffed a little crumpled paper in his hand as he murmured, "I have done my job. They are very suspicious. Be careful and investigate them with caution. Also… please! Don't tell anyone about my Tingting, okay?"

"Let's see…" Sheng Ruming replied and left a dejected man who could only brace himself and went to lick his wound in a corner.
