"Like twenty minutes ago. Grandma, you stay here. I will come back in a while." Luo Lixi whispered and then stood up. 

Aunt Zhu nodded and then took the place of Luo Lixi. This time, she was very serious while staring at the man's face.

Luo Lixi shot them a glance and then left the VIP room. Afterwards, she walked through the corridor and went to the stairs area. It was a big hospital and nearly no one would use the stairs.

This was the quietest and decent place to have a talk without being interrupted. 

Luo Lixi called Sheng Ruming. It was night time and Sheng Ruming just got back to the Sheng Villa from the company.

The man was very tired and got a quick shower. After wearing his pajamas, he was about to go down to the first floor to have dinner with his family when Luo Lixi called him.

As soon as he saw the caller, his face broke out into a huge smile. He received it right away and whispered with a chuckle, "What? After so many days, finally you have the free time to call, hum?"

"Ruming…" Luo Lixi whispered as she looked on the stairs. 

"Hmm?" Sheng Ruming raised his eyes while leaving his room. He began to walk down the glass stairs with light steps. 

Hearing the sounds, Wei Airan shouted with a mild tone, "Son, everything is ready. Hurry up. Also, call your father to come."

Afterwards the busy mother didn't pause for his answer and went back to the kitchen. Alongside the maids, she brought several dishes and put them on the dining table. 

On the other hand, Luo Lixi suddenly said with a bullet speed, "Let's get married!"

Sheng Ruming's foot stopped and he froze in his place. He tightened his grip on the phone and asked again, "What, what did you just say?!"

Luo Lixi took a deep breath. She understood that she was nervous and her mind wasn't clear yet. She removed the phone from her ear and then loudly breathed in and out. 

Sheng Ruming didn't move from his place yet. He continued to stand on the stairs and waited for her confirmation. His lips twisted into a smile by hearing those broken sounds of her on the other side. 

On the other hand, Sheng Haotin had already gone to the dining table. He turned around and saw the young man, not moving from the place. 

Wei Airan was finally done organising everything. She looked up and saw this scene. "What's wrong with him?!"

"Must be busy with an important matter. Don't bother."

"Then, let's start after he's done and comes." Wei Airan murmured as she sat down on her seat. 

"Alright." Sheng Haotin nodded and also took his seat. Both of them were waiting for Sheng Ruming who was currently very nervous.

Finally, Luo Lixi got her scattered mind in one place and said to Sheng Ruming with all seriousness, "Ruming, let's get married. In an official way, you understand?"

Sheng Ruming's mood instantly brightened up. He couldn't help but laugh out, "Finally you have gotten some sense. I was telling you for so long to get married yet you were so reluctant. As if I would eat you rather than marrying you!"

Because of his booming laughter, both parents turned their heads to him. Sheng Ruming finally noticed that his parents were waiting. He strolled to the dining table and sat down.

Wei Airan became very curious when she saw his happy face. While giving him soup, she asked, "Who are you talking to? You're so happy."

"Ma, Lixi agreed!"

Wei Airan frowned while she inquired, "What agreed?!"

"I am getting married this week." Sheng Ruming announced with a casual tone however his parents couldn't continue to be calm. 

Wri Airan put down the bowl on the table and exclaimed, "This week?! Why didn't you tell us?! We have to make enough preparation for it, son!"

"..." Luo Lixi really felt like whacking the man on his face. If she knew his parents were there, she would've talked later. But alas, she couldn't go back any longer. 

"Sheng Ruming, go to another place. We have more to talk about!" Luo Lixi said with a suppressed tone. Sheng Ruming's hand, which had already picked a piece of cooked spicy rib, stopped midair. 

His spicy rib dropped back to the plate with a thud sound which went unnoticed by all getting busy with themselves.

While Wei Airan had already forgotten about eating and began to talk with Sheng Haotin about what to do, Sheng Ruming left quietly. Even though Sheng Haotin was aware, he didn't make any sound. 

Only after a while Wei Airan noticed and exclaimed, "When did he leave?!

"A long time ago?" Sheng Haotin asked. He no longer cared to wait for anyone and sighed, shaking his head as he mumbles, "No more."

Turned out, in her excitement, Wei Airan was giving him food nonstop. 

Wei Airan saw this and pressed her lips tightly. In the end, she couldn't wait more for her son who had no sign of returning and joined Sheng Haotin.

"Now say." Sheng Ruming muttered out as he went out. He went straight to the little fountain and sat on the bench beside it. 

"You are alone? There aren't your parents or another person beside you, right?" Luo Lixi asked again to be safe. She didn't want him to talk with her in front of others. 

Hearing her, Sheng Ruming turned aside and glanced at Xiao Huang, who had left the mansion with him and at one point, stood beside him.

"I am talking with her. Leave." Sheng Ruming instructed while covering the phone with his hands. 

Xiao Huang reluctantly left but he kept a lookout on the man. After a while he noticed that other guards of the Villa were enough and thus left. 

Sheng Ruming finally returned the phone to his ear and murmured, "Now it's clear. Say. Also, Lixi, I think we should get married as soon as possible! This week will be the best choice!" The man was damn serious when he said that.

And excitement bubbling within him, eyes sparkling and face all smiley, this was his happiness- to be hers forever and to have her forever.

Even his face became strict and cold. If others saw him in this manner, they would presume that he was having a serious discussion with someone. 

"Fine, you can organise everything." Luo Lixi said. She thought it would be best if Sheng Ruming did everything in this situation. 

The young man stopped smiling. He asked with doubt, "I? I can? Your grandfather didn't disagree?" 

"...no." Luo Lixi said with a low voice. 

"Oh, good then. I will arrange a grand ceremony for us. You won't forget it for the rest of your life!" Sheng Ruming said with a smile. Luo Lixi really felt bad at this point. She also would have like it in the past, but not when her grandfather wasn't in good condition.

"... Ruming, grandfather, he was the one who told me to get married as soon as possible. Even though we are already considered married, Ruming, I want an official ceremony and get married to you. Also, it would be best if we make it on a small scale."

The man felt something was definitely wrong. But before he could voice out his doubt, Luo Lixi finally answered his questions.

"Grandfather, he got a heart attack, Ruming. He won't live much. He has requested that I get settled before he…" The next part, Luo Lixi couldn't even say even if she wanted to. 

Sheng Ruming's mood also went down. However, he was glad that finally Luo Lixi agreed to get married to him officially. As to why she agreed and the reason, he didn't care. 

"Don't worry then. Leave everything to me. I will only organise a little ceremony where only our close relatives and friends will come, okay?" Sheng Ruming asked with a tone of pampering. 

Luo Lixi couldn't stop herself from smiling with the way he was comforting her.

"Okay. Thanks hubby~" Luo Lixi agreed right away. Then she whispered, "Goodnight then, Ruming."

"Goodnight." Sheng Ruming reluctantly said and proceeded to cut the connection when Luo Lixi called out.

"Wait! Wait a second!" 

"Hmm?" Sheng Ruming asked. The chilly air blew past him, making the man feel the cold of the night. 

But under the sky and with a cold breeze passing by he was willing to be with her presence by him, either a call or she herself.

"Do you happen to know about Lixiang's whereabouts?" Luo Lixi asked. 

Even though she didn't want anything to do with this brother of hers, for her grandfather's sake, she was willing to contact Luo Lixiang. 

In an instant, Sheng Ruming's mood changed. He asked with a cold tone, "Why are you asking for that brat's whereabouts?! Do you want to taste the feeling of backstabbing again?"
