Sheng Ruming made an 'Oh' face and then turned to look at the bed. When Luo Lixi followed his sight, her eyes fell just on the place where he was sleeping earlier. 

Both people's eyes froze. Sheng Ruming lifted out awkwardly and then walked ahead. Then he picked up the thing with the shiny little ruby and then turned towards her. 

Luo Lixi was speechless. 'All hard work was useless!' 

She didn't utter any noise as she saw the man coming towards her. 

Sheng Ruming raised the chain in front of her and shook it gently. "Here is your chain you were searching so desperately. Even you disregarded my words for it."

The man shot a look of interest to the chain and then whispered, "How can a lifeless thing be so precious that you even ignored me and tried to kick me, huh?!"

Luo Lixi didn't reply. On top of that, when he was watching the chain intensely and showing her, she tried to snatch it away but the man was one step ahead. 

He moved his arm away and tsked aloud, "Look at your behaviour. First, you tried to kick me then you're trying to snatch the thing I've found. How rude!"

Luo Lixi stared at his dark eyes and murmured under her breath "Shameless…"

However, the man didn't continue to tease her anymore. He walked behind her and removed her long hair. As soon as he tucked down the shirt a little, her milky white and flawless back got exposed. 

Sheng Ruming couldn't control his impulse as he leaned down his head and then dropped a heavy kiss on it. 

For this unexpected reason, Luo Lixi gasped out aloud and murmured, "Ruming!"

Sheng Ruming chuckled and then rubbed her back, "Relax. I won't do you… at least for today."

Luo Lixi didn't say a word as the man was putting the chain around her neck and then locked it gently. Afterwards, he rotated it and placed the little ruby in front of her, just above her cleavage. 

"Done. Perfect!" Sheng Ruming turned her around and stared at her chest. He nodded his head in satisfaction and touched the ruby again. 

Luo Lixi looked down at his unruly fingers which began to roam around her neck. She snorted and then moved away. Afterwards, she went to another place and began to fiddle with her phone. 

Sheng Ruming followed her and then stood right behind her. Luo Lixi glanced sideways and then moved away. But the man continued to follow her closely as if he was her shadow. 

In the end, she didn't move anymore. Sheng Ruming took advantage of this chance and snaked his arms around her waist, trapping the woman in his embrace. 

Luo Lixi also relaxed and leaned against him. Then, she called someone and talked right beside him, not minding his unruly hands around her waist. 

"Er Jiu, have you already left Ming city?" Luo Lixi asked Pan Er Jiu who was currently with her relatives. They had gone to the market to buy some things for her cousin's wedding.

"No, Miss Luo. I didn't." She murmured while signalling her relatives to quiet down a bit. 

Luo Lixi pondered for a second and then said, "Then, you go to the airport in two hours. We will return to Ming city together."

"Got it." After saying that, Pan Er Jiu thought of something. Then, she asked hesitantly, "Well, Miss Luo, my mother will also leave the Ming city. Can she come with us?"

Pan Er Jiu waited for the answer with an expectant heart. She would love it if her mother could enjoy the privilege she got during the time they had gone to the capital city.

Luo Lixi answered right away, "Of course she can. But you should know that she will have to buy her own ticket in that case. After all, our plane has already left with others. Only I'm left behind… because of a matter."

Afterwards, she bade farewell to her relatives and caught a taxi to go to the airport. Even though it was a rainy day, many people had come out just like her relatives who were busy shopping.

Sheng Ruming frowned and hugged her tightly. He could feel the dejection and helplessness from her voice, "Why are you saying this? My Lixi isn't trash! If something is bothering you, just tell me."

Sheng Ruming stared ahead, looking at the big painting on the wall. He continued his palm's work on her head and said, "I will take care of it for you."

"No…" Luo Lixi mumbled.

"Then, what do you want me to do?" Sheng Ruming asked. This time, Luo Lixi stood straight and then turned around her body to stare at him.

"I don't want you to do anything. Just stay still and hug me." After finishing, Luo Lixi leaned down and hugged him back. In the process, her body became lifeless, appearing like a sloth. 

"...fine." Sheng Ruming did as she said while Luo Lixi continued with her chitter-chatter.

"You know, I really don't like the position. The twisted faces of the executives make me disgusted. On top of that, the heavy workload, it is making my skin dry. Soon, I will turn a dry fish that you won't love anymore~ Sigh~"
