Ben became quiet and sighed, "I didn't bring anything to present. That oldie won't come today so the class monitor will receive those. I've given money to someone to do it for me. It will need time to come…" 

Ji Yanli could only smile wryly as she shook her head, "No need. My humble assignment will do. Thanks for asking though."

"No problem."

While chatting, Ben inched towards her face and whispered, "If you want, I will give it to you. After all, you too…" 

Ji Yanli gave a hollow laugh and wanted to say that she really didn't need his help but then the professor entered the room.

"Ah, look, the grumpy has come. Let's stop now." Ben snickered as he sat straight like a proper learner.

So both of them had to put a stop to their conversation.

Ji Yanli was amused by the other person's swift change in attitude. When the professor came, he even shot a piercing stare towards them which made her uncomfortable but luckily the old man turned his eyes away.

When the class was over, the professor squinted his eyes and glanced around. He pointed towards three people, "You, you and you. Go and collect everyone's work. If anybody doesn't submit then write down their names."

When giving assignments, some had cheerful expressions while others' faces were stained with regret. 

When it was Ji Yanli's turn, she didn't show any emotions of happiness or regret so others couldn't guess her condition. When it was Ben's turn, he tilted his head and murmured, "I'll give mine after everybody."

"But…" The female student pursed her lips.

However Ben motioned the party to leave. When she didn't move, he threatened with an irritating voice, "That man has gone. Little rabbit, listen brother and come back later."

She didn't dare to argue with him and moved away. When everyone was finally done submitting, suddenly a man sneaked into the class and crawled towards Ben without making any noise.

The person handed one file to him and went to his seat. The girl who was responsible for collecting the files from Ji Yanli's row noticed it but remained quiet. 

From under the desk, Michael suddenly stood up and sat down on his chair. He pretended as if he was in the class all along. But like many other students present that day, he also had dark circles under his blue eyes.

The girl went up to him and mumbled. "Your task?"

He hurriedly nodded and raised his file. When the girl reached out to receive it, both of their skin brushed past slightly. She was embarrassed like an innocent person and nodded. 

Afterwards, she immediately rushed away and forgot that Ben had yet to give his file. The man panicked and shouted, "Hey, girl. My assignment!"

Hearing him, the other person stopped and ran towards him. After everything was done, she ran away like a frightened rabbit. 

From the sideline, Ji Yanli opened her little packet of popcorn and ate while casting her curious gaze between Ben and Michael. Her face looked an ecstatic expression as if she was enjoying it very much.

As to what, only she knew.

Watching her, Ben became irritated and asked, "What are you watching?" 

"Nothing… crunch~ crunch~ cruuuunch~" She continued to stuff popcorn in her mouth and the sound of it irritated Ben so much that he snatched it away. 

"Hey!" Ji Yanli stood up to snatch back her things when the next professor entered. So she didn't have the time and the other party shared her snacks with Michael and finished it in one large mouthful.

They even returned her the empty little packet which made Ji Yanli very frustrated.

When the three lectures were over, she was preparing to leave when Michael blocked her way. 

Ji Yanli raised her eyes and asked while tidying up her notes, "What's up?"

Ben stared at her face and asked, "Accompany me in a bar."

Ji Yanli frowned and intended to deny but was stumped by the other party's words, "I know you'll say that you're married and it's not proper. Don't you have any other excuse except it?!"

"... I have. I'm pregnant and it's over five minutes. No drink for me"

"... Good excuse!" Michael gave her a thumbs up.

Ji Yanli chuckled broadly and wanted to walk away but then abruptly stopped. 'Come to think of it, it's the only place I've yet to go…'

Her thoughts deepened as she noticed Ben was staring at her with an unpleasant face. He was offended by her words. She sighed and felt like her blood began to boil to do something crazy and exciting.

She swept away her little bangs and turned at Ben. When she inched towards him, both men were taken aback. 

Ji Yanli stopped beside him and whispered, "My baby has decided to visit later. So I can accompany you." 

Ben showed his thirty-two teeth and wanted to hug her waist but she jumped away. Watching his displeasure, she explained, "Well, I will just go with you. No touching, please."

"Fine. You have too many demands." Ben complained but he had already accepted her request. 

So Ji Yanli happily left with Ben and Michael, as he was the always good buddy of Ben, as usual, followed them. 

When Wang Haixiao came in front of her classroom, he got a message from Ji Yanli, telling him that she had left before him and would be late to go home tonight.

The man could only sigh in his heart. Only one thought came to his mind at that time, "She has gone shopping again? This woman! Go if you go, why take other men with you? Ain't I enough?!" 

… …

Ji Yanli deliberately sent the message before the eyes of the other two men. Even though Michael didn't show any emotion, Ben's face changed from tranquil to stormy.

He couldn't help but speak out to taunt her, "You look more like an underlying rather than a wife. Do people even tell their every movement to another person like it was a job?!"
