Zhao Yichen glanced at the rear-view mirror and didn't see anything odd. 'Strange. Why did I feel loathing from his tone?' 

"Dismissing people for failing to stop her from going out?! Is she a child or prisoner?" Sheng Ruming continued in anger. 

'Hey, you also did the same back then.' Luo Lixi thought but didn't voice out. When Sheng Ruming saw her expression, he turned mute.

Zhao Yichen didn't banter with him as he doesn't feel like talking.

Soon, the cars stopped before the mansion's gate. Zhao Yichen walked out hurriedly and opened the car's door for her. Sheng Ruming followed as well.

Zhao Yichen started to walk ahead but then three people stopped him. 

"Who are they? Why are so many people coming with you?!" One of them asked.

Luo Lixi glanced at the unfamiliar faces coldly. "It hasn't even been six months yet all I see is new faces." Her anger only soared for unknown reasons.

The men turned towards her and were taken aback when the face flashed before their eyes. Too familiar.

"She is old master Luo's granddaughter, young master Lixiang's elder sister."

When they heard, they bowed slightly at her and moved away. So, the rest of the people entered the mansion. 

"They seemed to know you. Didn't you quite?" Luo Lixi asked.

"I did but at the same time it was to look for you. Butler Hua asked me to appoint new people. So I recommended some."

Sheng Ruming turned at him and sharply examined the back of the man. Then, he walked ahead and started to walk side by side with Luo Lixi.

"Miss Luo!"

"Young miss…" Several people came up when they saw them. Amid them, three were women and two were men who were in servant attire. Luo Lixi softened up when she saw them.

"I hope you all are well."

"We are okay. How are you? We were very worried about you." One woman directly hugged her. Dam of water broke out as she continuously cried.

Luo Lixi hugged her back and felt much better when she saw the familiar persons. "Grandma Zhu, I am alright. Don't cry." 

She wiped her face and asked, "Where is grandfather?"

"He's in his room. Miss Luo, master has been waiting for you. He didn't believe you can be dead." The woman cried more as she talked.

"How can I die so easily? Look here I am, in one piece." Luo Lixi hardened her face and asked the question she wanted to know,"Where is Hua Xiamin?"

Aunt Zhu stared at her and asked, "Butler Hua?"

"Yes, his name. I guess it's not proper to address him as an uncle anymore..." 

Aunt Zhu was clueless as to what she meant. Nonetheless, she replied, "Earlier, he went to feed medicine to your grandfather and yet to come down."

"Alright. Let me go and see them then."

Luo Lixi directly walked up to the second floor. Aunt Zhu closely followed her. She slightly glanced at the seven men who were following along.

"Why are you all also following as well?" Zhao Yichen turned  around and asked. "Stay on the first floor."

Xiao Huang directly turned towards his boss. Sheng Ruming opened his mouth and said with a lot of arrogance, "I don't feel safe here. What if there are also dumb people like you? Pointing a gun at other's heads as they like…"

Zhao Yichen's forehead throbbed when he heard.

"They won't." 

"Heh! How can I believe you! After All, it's not even a day since we know each other." Zhao Yichen's lip twisted as Sheng Ruming spat out those similar lines. 

"Don't bother. They will follow us."  Sheng Ruming turned his eyes on the back of his woman. He felt his pure eyes would get stained by looking at Zhao Yichen.

"Miss Luo, they…" Zhao Yichen turned at Luo Lixi. But she didn't pay attention to their little argument and made her way towards her grandfather's room.

When they got nearer, sounds came out from the room. Luo Lixi saw the open door and looked inside. 

There, Hua Xiamin was standing beside her grandfather, with a tray which had a medicinal bowl. 

Two other young women were busy working in the room. 

Luo Lixi slowly walked inside. Hua Xiamin didn't turn around as he thought other servant's must have come and it was a common occurrence.

Only Aunt Zhu and Sheng Ruming followed inside. While Xiao Huang and Zhao Yichen stood at the door, staring inside.

"Take this." Hua Xiamin commanded as he placed the tray in his left hand and moved it towards them. 

The tray was moved before Luo Lixi but she didn't touch it. Rather her eyes were glued to the man on the bed. His eyes were closed and there was frown on his forehead.

Signs of exhaustion and gloominess were engraved on the old face.

Aunt Zhu saw she didn't take the tray. Thus, she took it instead. Both of them were standing there, without uttering anything.

'Grandfather, what have you become?' Luo Lixi stared at him, her gaze didn't waver. 

Hua Xiamin took the thermometer which was placed in the old man's lips. He concentrated on it to check the temperature. 

When Aunt Zhu intended to walk out, Luo Lixi noticed it and finally spoke out.

"Ruming, take the bowl and send it to a lab to check if there is any harmful component in it." 

Hua Xiamin got the biggest scare of his life when he heard her. The thermometer fell on the ground as his hand shook a little. He slowly turned at Luo Lixi.

Sheng Ruming signaled Xiao Huang. Soon the tray was carried out. All the people in the room turned at Luo Lixi. The servants were puzzled and quite shocked when they heard her.

"Butler, you stay away from my grandfather and go there to stand. Face the wall and keep raising your hands up. Don't you dare to leave the room." 

Luo Lixi stood before him. Her voice sounded as if she would erupt at any moment if Hua Xiamin didn't do as said.
