Ten Lucky Draws: I Got Ten SSS-Rank Talents!
Chapter 76: The Grave-Titan, Ozymandias (3)
"Dimensional Severance!" Leon shouted, triggering the Diamond-Rank skill.
He warped the space around the blade until the light itself bent toward the metal, creating a localized event horizon along the cutting edge of the greatsword. He poured every ounce of his 145 Strength, every point of his immense mana pool, and the passive, percentage-based decay of his Entropy Core into a single, apocalyptic downward thrust.
He drove the greatsword directly into the center of Ozymandias’s skull.
The dimensional rift tore through the incredibly dense, petrified bone. The Colossal Density talent was entirely bypassed by the true damage of the spatial tear. The blade sank deep into the skull, instantly shredding the massive, condensed mana core housed within the Titan’s brain casing.
The Tremor Impact property of the sword detonated at the exact moment of critical penetration. It exploded with the force of a tactical nuke, sending a shockwave of golden fire and shattered space rippling down the colossus’s spine.
Ozymandias, the Grave-Titan, shuddered violently. The red suns in its eyes flickered rapidly, outputting a terrifying, high-frequency screech of system failure, and then died, turning a dull, lifeless gray.
The hundred-foot-tall behemoth lost all structural integrity. It slowly tipped backward, suspended for a brief moment in the purple sky, before collapsing in a catastrophic avalanche of petrified bone and void energy. It hit the Gravesite Plain with an impact that shook the entire Battlefield Realm, the seismic wave tearing the earth apart. The shockwave kicked up a massive, localized dust storm of gray dirt, ash, and shattered obsidian.
Leon rode the collapsing skull down like a surfer riding a tsunami. He leaped clear at the last second, utilizing a brief burst of Storm-Strider to kill his downward momentum, and landed smoothly on the ash-covered dirt.
He stood up, resting his flaming greatsword on his shoulder. He took a deep breath, regulating his heart rate, and waited for the golden cascade of system notifications. He waited for the massive influx of experience that came with felling the final sovereign of the Gravesite Plain.
It didn’t come.
The system remained entirely silent.
"Auris," Leon said, his voice dropping an octave, his golden eye piercing the massive, swirling dust cloud. "Stay airborne. Maintain your altitude. We are not done."
The mountain of shattered petrified bone did not begin to dissolve into glowing motes of system data. Instead, the raw void energy bleeding from the shattered skeleton began to violently contract. The maelstrom that had been housed in its ribcage—the Void-Storm Core—did not dissipate upon the destruction of the brain casing. It intensified. It acted like a localized black hole, pulling the shattered fragments of the Titan back together with terrifying magnetic force.
Ding!
[Critical Warning: Boss Phase Transition Detected.]
[The Grave-Titan’s physical vessel has been compromised. The Void-Storm Core has initiated emergency structural reconstruction.]
[Second Health Bar Activated.]
"A second phase," Leon analyzed, his mind immediately pivoting to the new tactical reality without a trace of panic. "Of course the Level 95 final boss of a hidden Battlefield Realm has a resurrection mechanic. It would have been too simple otherwise. I applaud the system’s design. You forced me to burn my major cooldowns on a decoy vessel."
The dust cleared rapidly, sucked into the vortex of the reconstruction. Ozymandias was no longer a hundred-foot colossus. The Void-Storm Core had compressed the massive volume of petrified bone into a much denser, thirty-foot-tall humanoid frame.
The massive, slow behemoth had been replaced by a highly condensed, heavily armored dreadnought of pure void energy and bone-steel. Its armor was sleek, jagged, and pulsed with concentrated power.
The twin red suns ignited in its reconstructed skull once more, burning with a frantic, hyper-aggressive intensity that lacked the slow arrogance of its previous form.
[Ozymandias, the Grave-Titan (Phase 2)]
[Innate Talent Updated: Hyper-Density, Storm-Step, Absolute Annihilation (Unstable)]
"It traded scale for speed and density," Leon said over the telepathic link, instantly reading the updated parameters. "Auris, standard aerial bombardment won’t work anymore. It’s too small a target, and it has Storm-Step. It can likely close the distance to you in the air before you can finish a breath attack. I need to anchor it to the ground. Maintain a holding pattern until I call for the strike."
I am ready, Vanguard. Guide my fury, Auris replied, his massive form circling high above the plain, a predator waiting for the opening.
The Phase 2 Titan didn’t roar. It didn’t waste time with intimidation displays. It simply vanished.
"Storm-Step," Leon noted, his Supreme Comprehension talent instantly calculating the spatial displacement and the subtle shift in atmospheric pressure. "Behind me."
Leon didn’t turn around. He didn’t attempt to parry a strike he couldn’t see. He triggered Abyssal Stride, teleporting fifty feet into the air just as Ozymandias materialized exactly where he had been standing.
The Titan swung a condensed blade of void energy extending from its forearm, cleaving the empty air and leaving a lingering trail of destructive magic that actively corroded the space it occupied. The localized void-implosion left behind by Leon’s Abyssal Stride teleport detonated point-blank against the Titan’s armor.
The explosion was massive, but as the smoke cleared, the Titan remained standing. The Hyper-Density talent had absorbed the blast with minimal stagger, the dense bone-steel barely scorched.
"It’s incredibly fast," Leon observed, hovering mid-air using Storm-Strider, his tactical mind processing the boss’s new movement patterns. "And its armor is actively rejecting standard area-of-effect damage. We need pinpoint, overwhelming penetration to crack that shell."
The Titan looked up, its red eyes locking onto Leon hovering in the sky. It raised its hand, and the unstable Void-Storm Core in its chest began to rapidly generate the Absolute Annihilation sphere again.
But this time, it wasn’t a massive, slow-charging sector wipe. The unstable nature of the core changed the mechanic. It was a condensed, rapid-fire projectile designed for single-target execution.
Ozymandias fired a beam of pure, annihilating void energy directly at Leon. The beam moved at the speed of light, carrying the destructive payload of a collapsing star.
"Aegis of the Void!" Leon shouted, violently tearing open the spatial rift in front of him.
