Chapter 101: Snow Valestorm (2)

Leon Wes stood perfectly still in the quiet clearing of the crystalline forest, the ethereal golden flames of his greatsword casting long, dancing shadows across the vibrant foliage. He looked at the striking, white-haired girl standing ten feet away from him.

Snow Valestorm. Level 47. Possessor of the SS-Rank True Weapon Forger talent.

She stood there with her hands on her hips, her heavy white fur coat framing her exposed midriff, waiting for an answer to a marriage proposal that had been delivered less than three minutes after they had met.

And yet, as Leon’s mind rapidly analyzed the variables, the tactical brilliance of the arrangement became undeniable.

What’s here to lose? Leon thought, his dual-colored eyes scanning her confident, expectant expression. I get a pretty and loyal wife and a legendary weapon, and I never intended on leaving this second life of mine without getting any action, soo...

In Eternal Heaven, weapons and skills were ranked as follows:

Iron → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Mythril → Legendary → Divine → Transcendent.

Mythic was an upper extension of the Mythril rank, placing it above ordinary Mythril equipment but still below Legendary.

So obtaining a Legendary weapon would undoubtedly be a significant improvement.

At Level 100 and having reached the Steadfast rank, Leon was practically a god walking among the Adepts of Sector 12. His strength was already far beyond what most players in Eternal Heaven could comprehend.

But even a god could benefit from having a powerful ally.

And an ally with an SS-Rank crafting talent was an invaluable asset.

If she could forge Legendary weapons while she was only Level 47, then what would she be capable of once she reached the Steadfast rank?

Divine weapons?

Transcendent artifacts?

The possibilities were difficult to even imagine.

And beyond the tactical utility, she was undeniably beautiful. Her crystalline blue eyes burned with a fiery, unyielding personality that was incredibly refreshing after spending hours fighting soulless, mathematical constructs.

Leon slowly reached down and pressed his palm against the side of his greatsword. The ethereal golden flames instantly snuffed out, and the massive weapon dissolved into glowing data fragments, vanishing into his spatial inventory.

He took a slow step forward, closing the distance between them.

Snow didn’t back away. She tilted her head up, holding her ground, her lips parting slightly in anticipation.

"You are reckless, Snow," Leon stated, his voice calm, deep, and carrying the absolute authority of a man who had just butchered a Realm Lord. "You threw yourself at a player you know nothing about, purely based on a gut feeling about my scent."

"I trust my gut, baby," Snow replied instantly, a confident smirk playing on her lips. "My gut won me five national karate championships, and it’s kept me alive in this death-game so far. And my gut says you are the jackpot."

Leon stopped mere inches from her. He looked down into her striking blue eyes, seeing not a trace of deception, only raw, unfiltered honesty.

"Yes," Leon said smoothly, his voice dropping an octave. "I will be your husband."

Snow’s eyes widened, the confident smirk melting into an expression of pure joy.

"Baby, I love you!" she squealed.

She didn’t hesitate for a single microsecond. Snow threw her arms around his neck, launched herself onto the tips of her toes, and pulled his face down, planting a fierce, passionate kiss directly on his mouth.

Leon was genuinely startled at first. The sheer physical aggression of her affection caught his hyper-accelerated nervous system off guard. But as her soft lips pressed urgently against his, a sudden wave of heat washed through his chest.

He wrapped his leather-gloved hands around her waist, pulling her flush against his body. He kissed her back, taking control of the rhythm.

Woah, she’s actually not that bad at kissing, considering she was never in a relationship before, Leon thought, slightly impressed by her natural enthusiasm. She tasted like winter mint and static electricity, a chaotic, exhilarating combination that perfectly matched her personality.

After a long, breathless moment, Snow pulled away. Her cheeks were flushed a deep crimson, contrasting sharply with her pale skin and white hair. She was panting slightly, her blue eyes shining as she looked up at him.

"Wow," Snow whispered, her hands still resting on his broad shoulders. "Okay. That was... wow. You definitely live up to the stats, baby."

Leon chuckled, a low, rumbling sound in his chest. "You’re not so bad yourself, for a beginner."

Snow’s blush deepened, but she didn’t look away. Instead, she puffed her chest out slightly, her expression turning surprisingly serious.

"Soo concerning sex," Snow stated loudly, completely shattering the quiet intimacy of the forest. "I’m all new to this, but I promise to give you my best on the bed!"

Leon blinked, utterly disarmed by her blatant lack of a filter. He couldn’t help it; he threw his head back and let out a genuine, echoing laugh. It was the first time he had truly laughed since he had entered Sector 12.

"Don’t worry about that," Leon said, his eyes crinkling with amusement. "We have plenty of time to figure that out. There is no rush."

"If you say so, baby," Snow said, though she looked slightly relieved. She stepped back and grabbed the hilt of her massive silver buster sword, effortlessly pulling the heavy weapon out of the dirt and resting it casually on her shoulder. "So, what’s the plan, husband? Are we going to go crash another zone economy, or are we going to go hunt some more bosses?"

Leon turned his gaze toward the massive, armored form of the Glacial Sovereign waiting patiently at the edge of the clearing.

"I’m heading back to my house," Leon said, gesturing toward Auris. "So I expect you will want to follow me."

Snow followed his gaze to the towering High-Dragon. Her eyes widened slightly at the sheer scale of the beast, especially with the newly forged, heavy steel plating covering its chest and wings.

"Yes baby, it will be our home," Snow said, her voice filled with absolute certainty. She walked right past Leon, marching directly up to the terrifying dragon. ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

A/N: For anyone asking, Snow is the first member of Leon’s harem. And for Mira, she’s a potential female lead, and not yet in a relationship with Leon.
