Chapter 713: The Day All Knowledge Was Lost
Aurora and Aurelia watched with delighted smiles as the spectral warriors charged and the Library of All began to burn in a spectacular blaze of fantasy ruin.
"KILL!!!!!"
With a shared laugh, the two women waved their hands in unison.
Divinity shimmered around them as an elegant throne of living flame and light formed beneath them.
They settled onto it together, legs casually crossed, looking every bit like mischievous queens overseeing their favorite entertainment.
"Now we just sit back and watch the show," Aurelia purred, leaning comfortably against Aurora.
This kind of playful, mischievous act had become one of the main ways Aurelia bonded with the heirs — turning grand moments into delightful chaos.
But with Aurora it always felt a little more special.
Since she had been the very first one Aurelia took under her wing, and that early connection still carried a warm, almost motherly pride beneath all the mischief.
----
Back inside the Library of All, chaos was erupting in full force.
Flames roared across the upper levels as spectral warriors on flaming horses burst through shattered windows and doors, swords raised and war cries echoing.
Ancient tomes and scrolls suddenly caught fire, their pages curling as glowing embers drifted lazily through the air like tiny fireflies.
Amid the growing chaos, Ancestor Seeker stood up with an air of unshaken composure, her movements deliberate despite the panic rippling around her.
Across the room, Alex Prime’s expression contorted, his face a mask of pure fury.
"Everyone! Protect the sacred knowledge!" he bellowed to the other Primedivas. Then he charged straight at Seeker, power flaring around him like a storm.
From the side, Luna watched casually with her arms crossed, golden eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Need any help, Seeker?"
Seeker smiled, cracking her neck lightly.
"Not at all. It’s been a while since I’ve stretched my legs."
Luna nodded with a grin and leaned back to enjoy the show.
----
The moment those words ended, Alex was already charging.
However, Ancestor Seeker moved like flowing water, graceful and unhurried, while Alex attacked with raw intensity.
Flames roared louder around them, devouring ancient shelves and priceless scrolls in hungry waves of gold and crimson.
Spectral warriors on flaming steeds charged through the halls, their blades clashing against desperate Primedivas—as the Library of All descended further into beautiful, deliberate chaos.
"You think you can just stroll in here and mock us?!" Alex growled, his green eyes blazing as he thrust his hand forward.
In that instant, with nothing more than a thought, he called upon one of his abilities—the power of absolute probability.
It was a skill that let him decide, without question, whether something would happen with certainty or never come to pass at all.
[Probability Command]
"Make her next step shatter her leg!"
CCRRRACKKKK!!!!!
A brutal, wet crunch tore through the air as Seeker’s right leg snapped mid-stride, jagged bone punching through flesh in a spray of essence.
The pain was immediate and vicious.
Yet her face remained utterly calm — serene, almost peaceful — as if the injury were nothing more than a passing breeze.
"Not bad," she murmured softly, voice steady. "You really can bend actions... with just a thought."
Before Alex could even register her words, the shattered leg healed in an instant, bones knitting back together with a soft glow.
Without pause, Seeker exploded forward in a full charge and as she did, with a casual wave of her hand, she pulled a new power from her floating tome and bound it to herself.
[Absolute Probability Reflection]
The clash was ferocious.
She came at him with nothing but her bare hands — palms open, strikes precise and devastating.
Alex roared and summoned a gleaming silver sword that pulsed with absolute power to ignore any and all defenses.
BOOOOOOOM!
Their exchange lit up the burning hall like lightning.
Seeker’s hands blurred as she slapped aside the sword’s edge, each impact sending violent shockwaves that shattered marble pillars and hurled flaming debris across the room.
Alex swung wildly, the blade slicing through space itself, yet Seeker flowed around every strike with terrifying grace, closing the distance again and again.
BOOOOM!!!!
Her palm struck his chest with a bone-jarring force, shoving him back as the flames climbed higher around them.
The blow from Seeker sent Alex sliding across the cracked marble floor, his boots gouging deep trails through the smoldering wreckage.
The force had clearly been beyond anything he’d felt before — but he caught himself against a collapsing pillar, green eyes gleaming with sharp calculation rather than blind fury.
He kept recording every second, just like all his clan mates who held a grudge against the main character.
They were far too experienced to be reckless, and they knew that if the main character had shown up, they had to be more than ready.
Now, all they could do was make their preparations on the move.
"Impressive," he said, voice remarkably steady despite the chaos.
Smoke curled around his long white hair as the Library of All continued to burn around them.
Massive shelves toppled in the distance with thunderous crashes, and the screams of Primedivas being cut down by spectral warriors echoed through the halls.
"You’re not just strong.... it seems as if you’re studying me too. Testing how far my Probability Command reaches."
Seeker only shook her head as she advanced slowly through the flames, her scholarly outfit barely singed, the light from the growing inferno casting dancing shadows across her calm face.
"Wrong." She said as she truly cared little for the powers these bein.gs wielded. "The only reason you’re not dead yet little Alex... is because it’s not time yet."
Alex frowned, gripping his silver sword tighter.
He didn’t charge recklessly this time.
Instead, he circled her, buying precious seconds while the recording continued.
"Well... since I’m on a timer... for now let’s see how absolute your reflection truly is," he murmured, almost clinically.
[Probability Command]
"Make the flames around her converge and consume her completely."
FWOOOOSHHHH!
The fire roared in response, surging toward Seeker like a living beast.
She allowed it to close in for a heartbeat as she simply waved her hand.
In that moment, the flames twisted unnaturally and turned back on Alex instead, forcing him to leap aside as a pillar of fire exploded where he had been standing.
A faint smile played on Seeker’s lips. Alex kept his gaze steady, though a hint of frustration flickered across his face.
He needed more information—he had to figure out just how much power the Main Character’s faction really held.
[Probability Command]
He activated his power again, voice low and controlled.
"Reduce the chance of her movements being unpredictable to zero... and increase the chance my next strike lands true to one hundred percent."
The air distorted heavily this time.
Alex blurred forward in a sudden explosive lunge, sword slashing in a deadly arc that seemed impossible to dodge.
SHHHHKKKKKK!!!!!!
BOOOOM!
However, with her power activated this entire time....
It outright negated his ability... something she found amusing to see him steadily using it.
Seeing the attack, Seeker met the blade with both palms, the collision sending a shockwave that blasted flaming books and shattered stone in every direction.
The force pushed her back several steps, her feet sliding through pools of fire, but she held firm.
Though.... the reflected probability made Alex’s own sword jerk violently in his grip, nearly slicing his own shoulder before he barely corrected it.
He disengaged again, breathing harder now, but his mind was still working.
"You’re holding back," he said, eyes narrowing. "Why? If you’re truly with the Ineffable Clan... then show me what you’re really capable of. I want to know exactly what we’re up against."
Seeker tilted her head slightly, the flames reflecting in her eyes as another section of the ceiling collapsed behind her with a deafening roar.
"Then," Seeker asked calmly, "Are you ready to die?"
