Chapter 659: The Fall of Creation (4)
"Formation of Creation?" she repeated, her voice soft but carrying clearly through the tense silence.
The moment Celeste finished speaking, the chamber plunged into a suffocating silence.
The two Exalted Wardens turned their featureless silhouettes toward the four women who had just walked in uninvited. For a brief second, nothing happened.
Then—
HUMMMM!
A heavy wave of intangible pressure seemed to radiate from the two silhouettes seated at the head of the table.
It wasn’t meant to frighten the women or anything like that—no, it felt more like an instinctive reaction, an outburst they couldn’t quite control.
As in this moment, even a simple glance from them was enough to send an involuntary shiver through these Essences.
The air itself seemed to twist and distort as the highest authorities in the room directed their full attention toward the newcomers.
But something was wrong.
The Primordial Wardens, Threshold Sovereigns, and Domain Lords — beings who stood at the 28th to 32nd Dimensional Level — found themselves unable to properly perceive the four women standing before them.
Their figures appeared hazy, flickering at the edges of their awareness.
It was as if their minds were refusing to fully register the existence of the beings in front of them. Only the two Primordial Essences, Supreme Will and Supremacy could see them clearly.
Tension rippled through the room like a living current.
Several Domain Lords exchanged uneasy glances, their postures stiffening. Even the Primordial Wardens seemed visibly unsettled, their hands subtly moving as if they were about conjure something.
But the most intense reaction came from one of the Exalted Wardens — the Supreme Will.
Its silhouette, which had been perfectly still until now, suddenly flickered violently. The pressure radiating from it spiked wildly, no longer steady or composed.
Its focus wasn’t on the four women anymore. No, it was fixed entirely on Celeste—and only Celeste.
And it wasn’t because she was stunning, powerful, or anything else. No, to him, she looked nothing more than an abomination.
What he saw was enough to make even a being of his level react with something dangerously close to panic.
As mentioned before, the Supreme Will was the epitome of everything Destiny could ever become.
It existed in a state where it didn’t need to actively manipulate the threads—once its gaze fell upon something, that was enough.
Its Will would gradually shape reality into place, embodying Destiny, Fate, and Karma all at once.
But Celeste... she was all of that and so much more.
As the Goddess of Fatality, she was, in many ways, the same as the Supreme Will—only infinitely more fractured, more chaotic, and far more devastating.
And currently.... It was looking at something far beyond what should have been possible within the current structure of the Prime Expanse.
The Supreme Will’s voice came out low, layered, and carrying a rare trace of alarm.
"...What... are you."
The word was directed solely at Celeste.
The other Exalted Warden remained silent, but its attention had also shifted, though it seemed far more composed than its counterpart.
The rest of the room could only watch in growing confusion and tension, unable to fully grasp what was happening, but sensing that something monumental had just shifted.
Celeste stood calmly at the front of her group, her golden blindfolds facing the two silhouettes without the slightest hint of fear or submission.
The chamber fell into a heavy silence after the Supreme Will’s question.
The air was so thick with tension that even the Domain Lords struggled to breathe, let alone Victorious and Destiny, who were now barely conscious.
Every gaze locked onto the four women who had entered without invitation.
Celeste stood at the front of her group, her golden blindfolds facing the two featureless silhouettes without the slightest trace of fear or deference.
After a brief pause, she simply shrugged.
Then in the next moment, two large, elegant thrones materialized behind them.
Without another word, Celeste and Aeloris took the first throne, sitting side by side with composed grace.
While Seraphiel and Tiamat claimed the second.
The four women settled in as if they belonged there, their presence only making the tension in the room grow heavier.
Celeste tilted her head slightly toward the Supreme Will.
"I’m not sure," she said calmly. "Tell me... what do you see?"
Her voice was quiet, yet it carried clearly through the suffocating silence.
The Supreme Will’s silhouette flickered violently once more.
It remained completely still, but the pressure radiating from it continued to spike in irregular bursts, as if it was struggling to process what stood before it.
The other Exalted Warden remained silent, though its attention had clearly shifted entirely toward Celeste as well.
And as casual as Celeste’s question was, seeing their reaction she smiled with an internal though.
’Well, I might as break them before the true show starts...’ As she felt that things were heating up within the battlefield.
And even more so that she could feel the arrival of a certain being would soon happen.
The chamber fell into an unnatural stillness the moment Celeste took her seat upon the throne.
She had kept her mortal guise until now—golden hair, golden blindfolds, and an air of calm elegance.
It’s worth noting that, despite always wearing blindfolds, she was far from blind; she simply thought they looked cute.
Besides, they served the practical purpose of preventing her from accidentally altering someone’s life with just a glance.
While she could control it, the constant vigilance was more trouble than it was worth.
But as she eased into the seat reserved for the highest of authorities, something in her presence subtly shifted.
The air grew heavier. The conceptual pressure in the room thickened until even the Domain Lords found it difficult to breathe.
Celeste smiled faintly.
"Well," she said, her voice calm and almost casual, "I might as well break you before the true show starts."
With those words, she let go.
Her humanoid form began to dissolve.
It didn’t shatter or explode — it simply faded, like mist under morning light.
