Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 531: Minx: The Lord of Commerce

Chapter 531: Minx: The Lord of Commerce

“Let’s see what you three have for me this time,” Ash muttered, as it was finally time for them to prove their worth.

It had been about three days since he’d last read anything related to the Novel, having focused on other matters to give the three who thought they had escaped time for their experiences to play out.

So, with the codex already on the Novel page, his eyes began scanning the glowing pages as the scene unfolded with Minx at its center.

And he went all the way back to her escaping.

In the midst of Reality Nine’s violent collapse— the legions’ of his wives and their forces tearing through the realm—Matriarch Minx stood with eerie calm.

She stood at the tallest peak within the Domain of Commerce not moving nor looking to save anything, she was simply witnessing the magnificence of the Ineffable Pantheon.

As the final pillars of the reality shattered, she simply whispered, “My time on this side of existence… is done.”

In that moment, she simply vanished. Ash raised a brow at the sight.

“Huh, just as I thought… she’s not so simple,” he murmured, already suspecting as much. For her to have ties to the Treasury of Existence, she had to be someone significant.

And the more he read, the more he realized just how much of a mystery Minx truly was.

She stood at the edge between existence and nonexistence—not just because of her race, but because of what her occupation was.

She wasn’t merely the Lord of Commerce; she was commerce itself. And maybe even that wasn’t enough to describe how far beyond the bounds of Existence she truly was.

She had spent most of her life moving between one Reality and another, stepping easily across the threshold in both directions.

She showed up to people in their moments of greatest need, offering whatever their hearts longed for most.

But every gift came with a catch—two, in fact.

The recipient would be tied to her for eternity, and they would forget the encounter had ever happened.

She was among the rare few who could see both the Mother and the Father, but it wasn’t just about seeing.

She existed on the same plane as they did, sharing their level of being in a way few could comprehend.

Minx had not been born from Existence or Nonexistence.

She was born from the amalgamation of everything contained within the Treasury of Existence. In other words, she was the Treasury itself.

“Bruh… don’t tell me,” Ash muttered as the scene shifted.

From what he’d just read, he could already piece together a few things, and if it had been before, he probably would have lashed out.

Now, though, it felt more like the finest entertainment.

Minx now walked through a vast, silent realm filled with countless unmoving figures—projections of every being she had ever granted something to, or who carried even a fragment of her Treasury.

Her footsteps echoed softly as she moved among the frozen forms.

She stopped before one in particular. A figure that looked exactly like Ash.

Minx reached out, her fingers gently caressing the projection’s face with open possessiveness. “You…” she murmured, voice low and intimate.

“Ash Originat… You, are the only being in existence that truly matters.” Her words carried a dark, yandere edge as she leaned closer.

“From the moment that stupid woman drew my attention to you… You’ve always been mine.”

She lingered there a moment longer before continuing her walk, speaking softly to herself.

“Things aren’t always as they seem. While the Father and Mother believe they are in control… it is I who truly pulls the strings.”

Ash’s reddish-purple eyes narrowed as he read, the revelations lining up exactly as he had suspected.

Even though the details were new to him, he couldn’t deny that they were intriguing—especially since, if he wasn’t mistaken, the Mother had been muttering similar things not too long ago.

His Ten Lucky Draws remained something of a mystery; now he knew they were somehow tied to Minx, but the reasons behind it were still unclear.

Why did the Mother believe he owed her something?

And where exactly did the Father fit into all of this?

“Just how many beings think I’m some pawn for them to toy with?” he mused with a low, dry laugh, leaning back into the grass.

“I wonder what kind of mess I’d be in right now if I didn’t have the Codex.”

Rather than anger, a calm determination settled over his features as he mentally added Minx to the growing list of those whose fates would be far from pleasant.

As no one could treat him like a pawn and expect to walk away unscathed.

The pages of the Codex continued to shift as Minx moved again.

In the silent realm of projections, Minx waved her hand with graceful authority. A shimmering order rippled outward, traveling across the boundary into Nonexistence where the Merchant currently stood alongside Male.

“Do anything you need,” she commanded, her voice carrying absolute certainty. “Help Male become one with all of Nonexistence.”

“To become one with Nonexistence, huh?” Ash muttered, genuine curiosity threading through his voice.

He had once believed she was in league with the Father, especially after she had sent the two of them into Nonexistence.

But now it was clear—she was playing a much longer game, treating both the Father and the Mother as possible fools.

He continued reading, the Codex pages turning smoothly beneath his fingers.

In the silent realm of projections, Minx’s form shimmered and transformed.

She became a small child with pale skin, stark red eyes, and long black hair that flowed like midnight silk.

A playful smile touched her lips as she did a little spin, summoning a bright lollipop into her small hand.

She popped it into her mouth with innocent delight before her figure began to fade.

“Well, it’s time to give more treats,” she whispered, her voice light and sweet, carrying an undercurrent of something far darker.
