Chapter 483: Invitations Across Existence

Chapter 483: Invitations Across Existence

In the hours they had left, the three spirits managed to accomplish not only the Grand Ball but also the stronghold of the Ineffable Pantheon.

In just those short hours, something monumental had emerged in Reality Nine.

Even from several light years away, it was impossible to miss.

At its base stood a massive, imposing stronghold — a grand palace-fortress built from dark, polished stone and reinforced with elegant golden accents.

In front of the stronghold lay a sprawling courtyard of pristine white marble, adorned with dozens of enormous water fountains that shot powerful jets of crystal-clear water high into the air, creating a constant, majestic display.

And floating majestically in the sky behind the stronghold was the Grand Ball venue itself — a breathtaking palace suspended in the air, connected only by the two grand staircases.

It looked less like a building and more like a crown floating above the world.

—-

“What… what is that?!” one of them exclaimed.

In a well-respected sect, known for their power over thoughts, several elders gathered on a balcony, their faces pale.

Another elder narrowed his eyes.

A greedy glint appeared in several of their eyes.

And similar conversations were happening everywhere — shock, fear, awe, and greed spreading like wildfire.

High above the massive stronghold, on one of the grand balconies of the floating venue, Elysia, Creara, and Unara stood together in their full forms.

The view overlooked much of Reality Nine, with distant mountains and sprawling domains visible on the horizon.

PAH! PAH! PAH!

Creara, however, rolled her eyes playfully as she leaned against the railing.

Unara giggled, floating a little higher.

Creara smiled, then turned her attention back to the vast landscape below.

HUMM!

Thousands upon thousands of elegant black-and-gold invitations materialized in the air around her, glowing softly before scattering across the sky like shooting stars.

They shot off in every direction — vanishing into portals, flying across dimensions, and appearing directly in the hands of their intended recipients across existence.

“Now… time for our treat~”

Across Reality Nine many beings received an invitation… but every single Lord and Ancestor were sure to receive one.

Ancestor Seeker was seated at her usual desk, surrounded by ancient tomes, when one of the invitations suddenly appeared in front of her.

She leaned back in her chair, eyes sparkling with anticipation.

She set the invitation down gently and returned to her reading, though her mind was clearly elsewhere.

In the heart of his sealed domain, Ancestor Sealing was reinforcing one of his orbs when the invitation appeared before him.

“A Grand Ball hosted by the Ineffable Pantheon…” he muttered. “How… ironic.”

——

He was a figure who seldom spoke and was rarely glimpsed, even by the members of the Sect he had founded countless cycles ago.

As an invitation appeared onto is lap, he studied it for a long moment, his expression unreadable.

All the while, countless other invitations were making their way across the Eighteen Realities — and even farther.

—-

The snow-white owl paused mid-sentence as the elegant black-and-gold envelope materialized in front of him.

Clara’s lips curved into a small, knowing smile.

The Watcher’s head tilted slightly, clearly catching the implication in her words.

“It’s not very fun to spy on others from the shadows, you know.” She said,

The Watcher remained silent for a moment, clearly processing their words. It hadn’t expected the two young women to be so… bold.

“What is this Grand Ball?”

“Let’s just say you’ve landed on a certain list, and it’s your call whether you make the right choice.”

“We’ll see you there… or maybe we won’t.”

The Watcher’s golden eyes widened slightly in genuine surprise.

They had simply… ceased to be there.

It stared at the empty space where the two sisters had stood, then slowly turned its gaze back to the invitation still floating in front of it.
