Chapter 470: Ancestor Sealing
Chapter 470: Ancestor Sealing
As soon as Lord Alchemy and Prime Devourer departed, Ancestor Sealing stirred.
He rose leisurely from his seat at the fortress’s core, his long brown beard grazing the dark folds of his midnight robes as he made his way toward the largest of the sealed orbs drifting nearby.
From the shadows of the hall, Ash stayed hidden, watching quietly.
Ancestor Sealing paused before the largest of the colossal orbs, its surface swirling with a faint, oppressive darkness that seemed to devour even the glow of the surrounding runes.
He rested a hand against it, his voice low and thoughtful, as if speaking only to himself.
“Male… you were never special,” he murmured, thinking of his champion.
Like the others, he was a participant in the game.
The difference was that no one knew he was playing—not even the person serving as his placeholder.
He took part in the Organisms’ games with Male as his chosen champion, but his motives had nothing to do with Mana Stones.
No, Ancestor Sealing had long since stopped caring about the affairs of Reality Nine. He wasn’t bothered that no one could achieve the complete power system or uncover the final stage of power.
None of it concerned him in the slightest, because in his mind, he already had the answer.
“As my champion… you were simply convenient—a blank enough slate during the Game for me to shape into the perfect subject. Someone who could endure the journey to a place even I hesitate to open again.”
Hum!
He traced a rune on the orb, strengthening the seal with a steady flow of power.
“It was during the wars against Reality that I discovered it—the only true Forbidden, the sole Long-Lost Reality in my possession.”
“I still wonder, even after losing so much… Ancient Realms falling, our finest resources stolen. But in the aftermath, I stumbled upon that Realm.”
What he went through that day was nothing short of a miracle in more ways than one.
Picture your entire world thrown into chaos by invaders—people dying, lands being consumed, and nothing off-limits to these beings.
Yet somehow, in the middle of it all, you stumble upon a rift, a reality that should have vanished countless Cycles ago.
It was an event that nearly cost him his life, but in the end, he sealed it away without hesitation.
It was far too dangerous to leave open, yet too valuable to destroy. He paused, eyes narrowing as he reinforced another layer of the seal.
“Since Male lost contact after that final battle, I’ll let him be,” he said. “His purpose has been served as a test subject. But Ash…”
A faint, cold smile curved the Ancestor’s lips.
“Ash Originat is perfect—strong enough to survive, disruptive enough that the others will thank me for getting rid of him.”
“I’ll seal him into that Long-Lost Reality,” he said. “Then I can watch and learn from his experiences before I return.”
Ash observed from the shadows, his expression calm while his mind worked quickly.
’So that’s your plan,’ he mused. ’Lock me away in some forgotten place and use me as a guinea pig of sorts…’
He tilted his head slightly, golden eyes narrowing in quiet thought.
’The question is… what exactly are these lost realities?’
’Master, that owl… The Watcher. Ancestor Seeker spoke to him in the novel,’ Elysia murmured.
’Maybe he knows something?’
Ash gave a small nod, his gaze never leaving the scene.
’Hmm, should I go visit him now?’
’Hehe, Master, aren’t you supposed to be resisting your usual urges?’ Creara teased.
’Just have someone else handle it for you,’ Unara suggested, prompting a laugh from Elysia.
’Right, don’t you have wives to entertain… and a ball to plan?’ she added.
Ash gave a wry smile, glanced once more at the Ancestor Sealing and the orbs, and then vanished.

Ash reappeared on his throne in the Sacred Dimension.
The grand hall was quiet, the soft golden light casting a warm glow over everything. Currently, it was only him as everyone were out doing their own things.
He called out gently through the bond.
“My loves… Clara and Evelyn.” He said looking for his daughters. “Come here for a moment.”
A moment later, both daughters appeared in soft flashes of light.
Clara, with her bright rose-gold energy, landed with a small hop, her eyes lighting up the moment she saw him.
Evelyn arrived more gracefully, her gentle aura radiating warmth as she smiled.
Ash stood and pulled both of them into a warm hug, kissing each on the forehead.
Clara laughed softly, hugging him back tightly.
“Dad… is everything alright now?” She asked as even though he’d already talked to them and even though the phenomenon around Pantheos had already stopped….
She couldn’t help but worry.
Evelyn leaned into the embrace, her voice soft and relieved.
“We were worried… it’s not often we see you in a state like that…”
Ash chuckled, holding them both for a moment longer before letting go.
“Yeah, I’m alright now. Just needed some time to sort through a few things.” He said, “Hopefully, you won’t have to experience such a sight again.”
Clara grinned, poking his chest lightly.
“Good, or next time be ready for us to drag you back ourselves.”
Evelyn smiled gently.
“We’re just glad you’re okay.”
Ash sat back down on the throne, gesturing for them to sit along with him, which they did without any care in the world.
“I have a mission for you two,” he said, keeping his tone light and casual.
“It’s nothing too dangerous, but it’s important. I need you to go to a place called the Threshold of Existence — that passage between all True Realities.”
Hearing this Evelyn spoke with an arching brow, “The threshold of existence? Where is that even located?”
“Hmm, use the Language of Gods…. and you will be able to walk through the boundary at the edge of this Reality.” Ash said while continuing.
“There’s a Watcher there, an old owl who’s been guarding the doors for longer than most realities have existed.”
He leaned forward slightly, still relaxed.
“Your goal is to talk to him. Learn whatever he knows about the Lost Realities — what happened to them.”
He then continued explaining the details to the mission. They weren’t going to cause any ruckus, but only to find information.
He wanted to know why they were sealed or erased…. or any details they are able to get out of him.
Clara’s eyes glowed a bit…
“Hmm, so is this why you chose us two?” She questioned knowing she herself was The Goddess of Unspoken Verity and Evelyn the Goddess of Perpetual Change.
Both of them were perfect for such a task.
“Right, you two can handle this without a hitch and without causing many problems.” He confirmed to them.
Evelyn nodded, her expression thoughtful but warm.
“We’ll be careful. And we’ll bring back everything we can.”
Ash smiled, gently brushing a hand through their hair.
“Good. Take your time if you need to but come straight back when you’re done.” He said,
“And stay safe.”
The two daughters rose, sharing a brief glance before nodding.
Clara hugged him quickly.
“Love you, Dad.”
Evelyn’s smile was warm.
“We’ll see you soon.”
In two flashes of light, they disappeared — bound for the Threshold of Existence.
