Chapter 416: The Battle of Judgement (2)

Chapter 416: The Battle of Judgement (2)

In a battle between two Gods… especially those from the same pantheon, a lot of things became much harder and null.

Usually pantheons were, or more accurately would be, made up of those with Stars that held similarities. This all stemmed back to Supreme Divinity, something Ash set up way back in order to bring importance to factions.

The Ineffable Pantheon however was much different. None of them were similar; in fact, they all were way too broken in their own unique ways.

Which made fights between them much more difficult in an entirely different manner. Before Kaelthyr found his sanity devoured, he had planned for this moment many times over.

Because truthfully, he couldn’t wait to expand his race, and he indeed missed the benefits from Ash’s verse.

And he knew very well that if he was going to best Nia in a battle then it wouldn’t be because of his Decrees, his sword ability or anything else someone had.

No, it would have to be done with the use of something that could flip a battle on its head no matter the difference in power.

So, in this moment, he didn’t activate a decree or an innate power… no, he activated a power gifted by the Codex.

|Blade of Vampiric Samsara (Tier 4)|

Contrary to what Nia had spoken before, Kaelthyr in fact had never been sitting on his ’ass’ but instead he had done something no other member of the Pantheon had done.

He pushed his codex power up to tier 4… the highest outside of Ash’s own tier 9 power.

HUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

The entire Abyss was instantly covered with his divinity — a surging tide of crimson-black energy that drowned out everything else.

RUMBLEEEEEEE!

CRACK!

CRACK!

The frozen sea of souls shattered and melted away as the dimension itself buckled under crushing pressure.

In the next instant, the Abyss imploded, ejecting everyone into an outer existence… empty and absolute.

It was like witnessing the dawn of creation — a boundless, formless void… where black and white churned together in primordial chaos.

There were no stars, no ground, no sense of direction.

Just infinite, raw potential stretching endlessly.

Behind Nia, a massive sword forged from pure blood and soul divinity had taken shape — it was colossal…. ancient, and thrumming with Tier 4 power.

It didn’t wait for her moment of notice…. No, it came crashing down without warning.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

The moment it hit her Devouring bubble, the bubble remained untouched.

Instead, the blade shattered into a thousand crimson shards, only to instantly reform into a stronger, more resilient version now infused with Devouring essence stolen from Nia’s own power.

Nia’s eyes widened as she realized her own Devouring was being used against her.

She attempted to counter with a different power — a surge of absolute emptiness erupted, eradicating every trace of energy within the blade.

Regardless of the forces infused within it — blood, souls, reincarnation, or even the essence of devouring — all were nullified in an instant.

CRACK!

The sword shattered once more, only to be reborn again, this time imbued with far greater resilience and a newly forged conceptual edge that rendered her defenses entirely void.

With each attempt Nia made to deploy another power for protection, the Blade of Vampiric Samsara broke and reformed anew.

With each reincarnation, it grew stronger, absorbing pieces of her power and transforming into a weapon more fearsome, unbreakable, and lethal than before.

At last, the sword hit its mark.

BOOOOM!!!

The impact blasted Nia backward with crushing force, hurling her through the endless black-and-white void like a streaking comet.

She spun helplessly through the vast nothingness, the sword’s energy searing across her as it clung to her form.

While Kaelthyr stood in the emptiness, breathing heavily, his own body covered in wounds but his eyes burning with fierce determination.

The Blade of Vampiric Samsara shrank and floated at his side, more menacing than ever.

Its shape endlessly shifted, infused with stolen Devouring and Emptiness essence, and strengthened by Samsara’s eternal cycle of destruction and renewal.

Nia finally stabilized herself in the void, wiping blood from her mouth as she floated to a stop.

She looked at the blade, then at Kaelthyr, and smiled — bloody, wild, and genuinely excited for the first time.

“…Not bad, looks like you saved your little race.” She said as technically, Kaelthyr had won a round.

Kaelthyr however, he didn’t smile back… he didn’t respond he simply moved again.

—–

“Wait, are you saying Father has been alive this entire time?” Ellyn said, her eyes never leaving the battle for even a second.

She, along with Aphrodite and Kyron, were now all in the same void as Kaelthyr and Nia collided for their final round.

“And you’re saying… you’re Big Brother’s wife?” Kyron said as he looked to Aphrodite, then to Ellyn.

“And you’re his eldest daughter?”

Aphrodite chuckled softly at their reactions, her voice warm and gentle.

“Exactly. And that’s why we came to pick up Ellyn. Kaelthyr… he caused you guys to miss the birth of the newest members.”

Ellyn’s eyes widened even more, but she didn’t look away from the fight.

“Newest… members?”

Aphrodite nodded, a soft smile on her lips.

“A few of your other mothers…. Seraphiel, Yonna, Seris, Vaeloria, Raven, Madison, Summer, Shia, Elara, and Layla all gave birth recently. Twelve children in total….”

“There are even triplets from Summer. You know, it was… quite the event.”

Kyron rubbed the back of his neck, still trying to process everything.

“So… I have a bunch of nieces and nephews now.”

The conversation fell silent as the clash between Nia and Kaelthyr grew fiercer.

Nia pressed forward, her blade humming with Devouring essence, layered with Vaeloria’s sword intent.

Kaelthyr countered with everything he had, his Blade of Vampiric Samsara endlessly shattering and reforming, each rebirth siphoning more strength from Nia’s strikes and growing deadlier.

Ellyn stood watching, eyes wide and fists clenched.

“Who… who do you think will win?” she asked Aphrodite, her voice taut with worry for her father figure.

Aphrodite let out a soft, knowing laugh.

But before she could answer, Nia unleashed a cataclysmic power.

She raised Ashy…. high above her head, eyes blazing with pure delight….

HUMMMMMMM!!!!!

|Devoted Love (Above Origin)|

In that moment she activated an innate power that, like everyone else, came from her star. However, this power… it allowed her to channel 5% of power from the one she loved the most.

The blade flared to life in a burst of blinding gold — just 5% of Ash’s full power, concentrated into one devastating strike.

WHOOOOOSH!!!

Nia swung.

A white-gold arc exploded outward, so bright it erased shadow and darkness for light-years in every direction. It moved faster than the eye could follow, carrying the weight of Ash’s essence… and nothing else.

Because, in this moment, what more could she possibly need?

BOOOOOOM!!!!!!

Kaelthyr met it head-on, Samsara blade blazing at full power.

Yet, it failed miserably. When it shattered and tried to reform, it only merged with Ash’s power radiating from the sword’s arc.

“Fuc—”

The beam hit him square in the chest.

There was no explosion—just silence. When the haze cleared, he was gone.

Kaelthyr had vanished in an instant—sword, body, every trace of him consumed by a blinding flash.

Kyron and Ellyn stood rooted, wide-eyed and tense.

“Master—!” Ellyn cried out, stepping forward.

Kyron’s face paled. “Father…!!!!”

Nia lowered her blade, breathing slightly heavier but otherwise calm. The blinding light faded, leaving only faint golden particles drifting in the emptiness.

She glanced at the two of them, her tone relaxed and almost comforting.

“It’s fine. I just sent him back to Pantheos. He’ll be back in a few centuries—consider it his punishment for missing the birth of our heirs.”

With a contented smile, she slid Ashy back into place behind her.

“He’ll wake up… but next time, he might think twice before calling me that again.”

Aphrodite sighed softly beside her, shaking her head with a small smile.

“You really couldn’t hold back even a little, could you?”

Nia simply shrugged.

Ellyn and Kyron stared at the spot where Kaelthyr had been, still processing.

Nia turned to them, her expression softening just a fraction.

“Come on. Let’s go… enjoy the next few years before things get serious.”
