Chapter 369: Helping A Friend
Chapter 369: Helping A Friend
On the Ninth Inversion, the women had just finished making short work of the Eldritch.
The five — Sylvie, Madison, Rune, Katherine, and Morgana — hovered together above the massive vertical tunnel plunging straight into the Tenth Inversion.
“Hmm, Master did say clear only up to the Ninth Inversion…” Sylvie reminded them, her tone light but firm.
“But…”
Madison smiled, shaking her head. “But we’re still going up anyway.”
Katherine crossed her arms, crimson silk rippling. “So stubborn… who knows how he’ll react if we ignore his direct request?”
Ash had rarely asked anything of them, so when he did, they always tried their best to help.
Yet now, even Katherine couldn’t resist the urge to push into the Tenth Inversion. If they reached it and cleared it, that would help him even more.
Rune floated cross-legged. “Tsk, let’s be honest. I’m sure he already expects us to push ahead. Besides, our power’s grown beyond what he claimed was inside there anyway.”
Morgana drifted closer, bronze skin shimmering, voice low and amused. “I never thought you all would be so naughty.”
Madison snorted. “Yeah right, didn’t you see us having sex?”
Sylvie’s lips curved into a wicked smile. “Exactly, don’t act oblivious like our dear Aeloris.”
Katherine laughed. “Alright, it’s decided. We’ll head up, clear the inversion… and he’ll reward us~”
Rune simply nodded.
Morgana’s dark crimson eyes gleamed. “Fufufu~ I like the way you think.”
Then without wasting any more time, together they descended into the tunnel.

As they emerged on the other side, the Tenth Inversion unfolded before them in a manner wholly contrary to their expectations.
It was a fully habitable manifestation, conjured into existence by Ash after replicating the two races.
At the center floated a majestic throne of black marble veined with living gold, where Ash lounged with an air of effortless dominion.
It seemed entirely possible he owned it all.
Which… he probably did.
He sat in easy repose—legs crossed, one arm draped over the armrest, a golden bowl of grapes resting in his lap.
Elysia and Creara perched on either side, squabbling playfully as they tried to steal grapes, while Unara sat cross-legged atop his head, using her divinity to levitate a few toward herself.
As they appeared, Ash’s golden eyes lifted, glittering with pure amusement.
“Hmm, you took longer than I expected,” his layered voice rolled out as he popped another grape into his mouth.
“I cleared the Tenth in mere blinks… and decided to wait here.”
Madison’s jaw fell before she burst into laughter. “You damned bastard!”
Sylvie pouted, “Hmph, no fair master. We came here looking for to be useful.”
Katherine floated closer, arms still crossed but smiling. “And you’re up here eating grapes like it’s a vacation.”
Rune just shook her head, lips curving. “Of course he is.”
Ash chuckled as he stood up, “Don’t worry we have an entire invasion to get rid of.”
Morgana rose a brow, “What’s with you? Is it just pure chaos?”
Sylvie said as she nudged her, “You’ll get used to it, I’m surprised he didn’t destroy this place yet before leaving.”
“Well, I wouldn’t mind doing so… but the higher inversions are tricky right now,” Ash said as he continued.
“It’s finally time we head to the Earth Plane and pick up my Aphrodite and Persephone.”
Although he planned to see Aurora after leaving here, he couldn’t let himself stray from the course, as everything was unfolding according to the plan he’d set.
’Tsk, what will I become once I have more children… and build a bond with the other two?’ he thought, realizing Aurora was one of the few things capable of pulling him away from his chaos.
“Oh, we’re finally stepping into the Middle Dimension…” Madison muttered, then added,
“Just make sure we get some extra fucks in, Husband… I’ve got a feeling others will be showing up soon.” Her instincts were already starting to flare.
Ash just smiled as they vanished, scooping up Seraphiel and Aeloris along the way.
Before leaving the Null Firmament completely, he left Vetri in charge until the rightful General appeared.
She would lead the Unus and command the Bastions through the ten inversions in the meantime.
With that settled, they set their course for the Earth Plane.

While Ash and the others had been busy inside of the Null Firmament, a full month went by back within Existence.
During this month two women were preparing themselves to tackle their first mission. Well, it was more like one woman…
Over this entire month, Isis had been sitting inside a cultivation chamber specifically tailored to her in each and every way possible.
This was something Aurora created using her Song of Birth — the use was to accelerate the growth of this stubborn Dragon.
Because for an entire week they had been aimlessly traveling around looking for things to boost her rank.
Something Aurora wasn’t about to continue doing, no matter how easy-going she was.
Especially if she could just help her out.
So, she simply created it and baited Isis using some mind tactics she’d picked up from Old Thalion. Which worked like a charm, and for the last three weeks Isis had been cultivating.
Yet it still wasn’t enough for Aurora’s taste.
Aurora stood outside the chamber’s shimmering barrier, arms crossed, golden eyes narrowed in quiet frustration.
Inside, Isis floated cross-legged in a sea of condensed essence that made it easier to comprehend trans-concepts and mold one’s Strata faster.
In just a month she had reached the Early Ascendant rank, yet it was not fast enough for Aurora’s liking. Especially since their first mission needed them to reach the 79th Heaven of this place.
“This is taking forever,” she muttered. “At this rate we’ll really be waiting until the end of our lives.”
She exhaled, white-blue hair swaying as she made her decision.
With a single note hummed under her breath, Aurora vanished from the outside.
She reappeared high above the Originat Haven — somewhere Ash had allowed her to visit. It had been quite a while since any of the main Originat had gathered here, but it still had its same radiance.
Below her stretched a land that had grown even more, now brimming with architecture and thriving societies.
One must remember, he had long placed the Velora Kingdom alongside the Astral Humans, not far from the Haven.
While the Kingdom lay directly on the island, the Astral Humans resided in a separate galaxy yet still maintained access.
Aurora descended gracefully, landing in a central plaza just outside the grand barracks. This was the barracks his original 100,000 troops had occupied.
They had long met Aurora doing her travels and visit. And they had also finally found their importance again.
They all were Primavus, but Ash planned to make the supreme protectors. Beings who would answer to only his children and protect them from the shadows.
And one may think such a thing was useless…. But they would have quite the time guarding his children with what he planned.
One of them — a tall, broad-shouldered captain with a familiar scar across his cheek — stepped forward and bowed deeply.
“Lady Aurora,” he greeted, voice steady with reverence. “How may we serve?”
She smiled, warm but direct. “I don’t need much today. I came looking for some old cultivation materials daddy gave the army over the years.”
It went without saying that with the subnexus, they always had a steady supply of resources. And even though Aurora could probably create something similar, it wouldn’t be as effective.
The captain didn’t hesitate. He turned and barked a single order. Within moments, several elite guards hurried off toward the restricted vaults.
Aurora folded her hands behind her back, gazing out over the Haven with quiet satisfaction.
“If Isis won’t grow fast enough on her own,” she murmured to herself, “then I’ll just give her the entire armory. Hehe, let’s see how stubborn she stays after that.”
The vaults began to open in the distance, ancient seals glowing as they recognized her presence.
Aurora’s smile sharpened, just a little.
“Time to finish this mission prep, oh princess.”
