Chapter 283: Constellations And Gods (2)
Chapter 283: Constellations And Gods (2)
Constellations and Gods had always been two of the things that fascinated Ash most back on Earth—aside from novels, of course.
To him, they were the closest humanity had ever come to true fantasy.
Constellations were familiar to everyone: an amalgamation of stars forming patterns. Obviously, the reality was more intricate, but that was the general idea.
And then there were Gods—beings believed to stand above everything.
Those concepts thrilled Ash, and during Aurora’s childhood, he often told her stories about them and the different deities that caught his interest.
He himself hadn’t followed any religion back then.
He was a seventeen‑year‑old orphan; he hadn’t grown up learning those things. To him, they were simply topics he could enjoy and get lost in.
So now, as Aurora sat in the void, she formed her first idea for the Power System.
With the knowledge she’d gained over the past two years, she wanted to create something that didn’t restrict beings… but instead guided them directly toward whatever her father intended.
“He only said it needs to have limitless potential…” she muttered, then continued rambling through the foundation of it.
“Let’s start with the basics of the Constellations and Gods system.” As she spoke, she used the very fabric of space as a chalkboard, drawing figures with impossible precision.
“I will create conscious and sentient beings, all in the form of stars. These will be the Gods and Constellations, each embodying a path.”
She split her drawings down the middle—one side filled with red stars, the other with blue. The colors meant nothing special; they were simply for organization.
Then she went on.
Tapping her chin, she spoke again.
“I’m not sure how many steps of progression it should have… but for now, let’s set it at twelve tiers. Each tier will grant the cultivator one new ability or an upgrade to an existing one.”
The star‑drawings shifted with her words, forming a twelve‑layered pyramid while countless stars filled the “sky” above it.
She continued effortlessly, laying out the basic structure of the Power System. Although she was the one creating it, only Ash could actually implement it within his Lower Dimension.
Next, she set the awakening age—birth.
All beings in his Lower Dimension would awaken the moment they were born, and those already alive would awaken immediately. Because of that, each tier would naturally take longer to reach than the one before it.
After that, she removed the need for lifespans entirely.
She considered such limits unnecessary restrictions.
One shouldn’t have to worry about old age in this Lower Dimension… and under her system, they wouldn’t. Aurora continued working for an entire month until everything was finally complete.
When she finished, the foundation of the system was set.
Twelve tiers.
All beings would awaken at birth.
Constellations and Gods would exist as beings who assisted their cultivators.
And there would be no lifespans.
For now, that was all it would be. What remained was bringing the creation into actual existence.
[A/N: I plan to use this Power System in my next Novel… so enjoy watching the process of it being made!]
“Since my power is only Tier 1, I won’t be able to give any other star sentience,” she murmured. She had experimented with her abilities, after all.
She could sing things like conceptual weapons, armor, and various objects into existence. But she couldn’t yet sing something as complex as sentient stars or Gods tied to a power system.
“I’ll just become the first constellation… or God, hehe.” She giggled as she began. Her plan was simple.
Ash had told her countless times that she existed outside the influence of normal reality.
But she possessed something that technically derived from the outside—her Transcendent Concept. Even if it only existed inside Ash’s Lower Dimension, it was still a rule originating from outside.
Ash’s multiverse didn’t offer any Laws or Concepts to be comprehended. Not directly, at least. He could make it possible, but he hadn’t—for the same reason he hadn’t allowed others to enter his multiverse.
Eventually, he would create his own rules.
So, with that in mind, Aurora began turning the power of her Trans‑Concept into a star.
|Song of Birth|
The moment her power activated, she didn’t feel a surge of strength.
Instead, a song formed in her mind—short, but exactly what she needed to both activate the power system and transform herself into a God or Constellation.
—
“In the silence, before the first light, I sing thee born, O endless night.
Stars of Genesis, weave and gleam, From my melody, birth the dream.
Constellations will rise, Gods will awaken, Infinite paths all in harmony’s take.
My essence as a star, Me as a God
Eternal and True…
Melogenesis shall bloom anew~”
—–
HUMM!
As her song faded, the drawings before her glowed subtly, solidified, and then sank deep into the fabric of the Lower Dimension.
At the same time, she herself began to fade, her form dissolving slowly like paper catching fire.
Motes of light and melody drifted upward, gathering until a single star formed—shaped like a music symbol, glowing in soft pastel blue.
HUMMM!!!
A moment later, Aurora emerged from the star, a radiant smile on her face.
“Hehe, Aurora Originat, Goddess of Music and Creation~” she declared before humming a single tune and disappearing.
It was also important to note that Gods would take the form of single stars, while Constellations… would be well, a constellation. She still had quite a few things she wanted to add into the power system, but she of course had to meet the man, Ash himself.
—-
When she reappeared in the place she had left Ash two years ago, he was still in the exact same spot.
Since his encounter with Vane, he had done nothing except use his Power of Quantum—and so far, he hadn’t made any qualitative jumps.
Not that he minded.
Because let’s be real here, he was only buying time anyway. He would max this power out soon enough, just not before he finished cleaning up the Lower Dimension… or breaking it.
“Daddy!” Aurora called out as she appeared directly in front of Ash, who wore his trademark smile.
“Constellations and Gods… not bad,” he said. Of course he already knew—nothing escaped his eye within his own Dimension.
“Not fair, at least let me explain it?” she pouted, settling down in front of him. And regardless of whether he already knew, she began explaining, and he listened patiently.
After a few minutes, he spoke.
“Alright, let’s add the finishing touches before we implement it. I’ll only add in a few Gods… you can have fun with the rest.” As he said this, Creara snapped her small fingers, and a massive book appeared.
It dwarfed the size of worlds. Pure white, without a single word or marking.
“And this is?” Aurora asked, glancing at the spirit.
“It will be the core of the power system. Your system will be added inside,” she said, gesturing first at the book, then at Ash.
“And Master, after adding the finishing touches, he will activate it.”
