Chapter 182: Here We Go Again
Chapter 182: Here We Go Again
When Ash returned to the others they were healed and in better condition. Sylvie smiled and hurried to his side with a look of pure thrill, her wings fluttering slightly as rose-pink light danced across her feathers.
“Master! Just what kinds of power do you wield?” She asked in genuine curiosity that could be seen in her reddish pink eyes—wide, sparkling, reflecting the faint embers still lingering in the air around him.
Kaelthyr himself looked at his disciple in a weird light—grey eyes narrowed, brow furrowed, the faintest flicker of something between awe and exasperation crossing his face.
’This is the second time I’ve seen that sword concept…’ He thought to himself as he couldn’t come close to understanding what Primordia Truth was. Him, a being with the Law of Sword completely comprehended… someone with a maxed sword Aura and nearly maxed sword intent.
It was absurd.
Ash shook his head at Sylvie as he spoke.
“Hmm, maybe I’ll show you one day,” he said, sliding forward a bit to take a seat beside Kaelthyr.
Together, they watched his armed ’summons’ reshape the realm before their eyes—billions of faceless warriors cutting through beast tides and reshaping the very fabric of nature.
“Now, we won’t have to worry too much about the dangers in this realm… However, I won’t rashly move upwards this time.” He spoke as he made Kaelthyr arch a brow and speak.
“Then what sort of nonsense are you planning this time?”
Ash couldn’t help but smirk at that… because he was indeed planning some nonsense. The kind of nonsense that bred nothing but pure power.
“Well, we’re going to get our ranks up.” As he said that he activated Stellar Adaptor and adjusted it to find things helpful for stepping into the Void Emperor rank.
[Search for things that can accelerate the implosion of the Stellar Cores, things that provide comprehension into Concepts and comprehension for Stellar Laws. Those are the main components for stepping into the Void Emperor rank.] Elysia said before Ash did exactly that.
Then before him showed three items that were spread around the Middle Veil.
[Voidheart Singularity Seed – A small, black orb about the size of a fist, its surface shifting like liquid shadow with faint rose-pink veins pulsing underneath. It speeds up the collapse of Stellar Cores by pulling in ambient void energy and compressing it inward.]
[Concept Shard – A jagged, obsidian-like crystal fragment marked with faint crimson runes that twist and ripple like living scars. Grants direct understanding of Concepts, with each shard offering 5% comprehension.]
[Apex Law Bloom – a rose-pink lotus flower of condensed stellar energy, floating gracefully as its petals slowly unfurl to reveal a glowing core of pure law essence. It grants instant, profound understanding of Stellar Laws. Each flower bears ten petals and collecting one thousand of them elevates stellar laws by one rank.]
——
“Get our ranks up?” Kaelthyr asked in a tired tone. He was truly tired of his disciple’s shenanigans, but at this point he couldn’t even call it such anymore.
’He’s like some chosen freak…’ Kaelthyr thought as Ash’s voice echoed again.
“Right, this realm has been largely unexplored for millions of years. There are all sorts of resources untouched in this realm.” Ash said as he stood up and opened a portal using the Laws of Space.
“I’ll be back in a jiffy.” As he said that he quickly entered the portal leaving the two behind.
It made no sense for them to come as he wouldn’t find any troubles in the places he was going.
With the Stellar Adaptor he went to each of the locations precisely.
Then he took each and every bit of the resources leaving none behind for the inhabitants… It’s not like they needed it, they were already Void Emperors.
In a moment later Ash reappeared on the tree branch with a smile. All the items were sent into his inner cosmos as he had Elysia multiply them using the Law of Abundance amongst other things, then he evolved them by 500x.
Something made these items useful even for Cosmic Overlords…
As he waved his hand and gave each of them a mana ring he spoke to Elysia.
“Look, try not to ask too many questions. Just go with the flow.” He said as he explained the effects of each item inside the ring. He had given them enough for both ranks Void Emperor and Cosmic Overlord.
After that he brought them into his inner cosmos, into the Originat Haven. The floating island-like structure that spanned for light years. It had constantly been growing along with his power, and every change Ash went through.
Not just that there were millions of people mingling around on the island.
Those from the old Velora Kingdom had been here so many years now, that they’ve made it a home. Their power levels had even outgrown what most of their talents could even produce as there were multiple Calamity cultivators doing everyday things.
Along with the 100,000 troops he had cultivating here for the longest. Initially he planned to send them out with the others, but the plan changed over and over. These people had yet to become Primavus, nor had they become Originats.
Soon it would change though… and soon these troops would do what they were gathered to do.
As the trio appeared in the skies of the Haven Kaelthyr and Sylvie were left speechless.
The place here felt countless times purer than almost anything they’d felt. It was almost like they were standing in the very heart of Laws and Power—mana so dense it shimmered in the air, laws humming like a living symphony, the ground beneath them breathing with quiet, infinite potential.
They both looked at Ash, but remembering what he’d said they swallowed their words.
“Alright, this is my home,” Ash said before getting straight to the point. He explained the time dilation and laid out his plan, making it clear that once his seclusion ended, he would head back into the Middle Veil—whether they joined him or not.
After that, he left them and teleported to a secluded spot in the Original Haven, settling down in the grass. As he sat, his form shifted and his wings vanished.
Before he could even speak Elysia beat him to it.
[I know what you’re thinking… and you’re right.] She admitted with no shame that caused Ash to chuckle at such shamelessness.
Before, Elysia told him not rush and gather more Stellar Laws before stepping into the Void Emperor rank. Now, at the time he wasn’t sure if she just meant those from Sylvie and Kaelthyr or not but since then he’d been thinking.
Wouldn’t he always be able to copy laws from those weaker than him at a later date then make something chaotic? Currently, he had four Stellar Laws something far beyond the normal one most people had or even the two those rarely had.
With this he could step into the Void Emperor rank without needing to Copy it, but he waited.
“So, why didn’t you tell me beforehand. We could’ve been done with this dear.” He said shaking his head.
[Well, you were moving too fast. I just wanted you to slow your roll a bit before you crashed and burned.] She said before she continued.
[You were seeking the next rank so much you didn’t even mind copying the ranks of the only other Stellar Sovereigns you knew… So, how could I believe you would do it later?] She explained which caused Ash to see her point of view.
“Yea… you’re right yet again.” He said with a wry smile before he exhaled then settled his thoughts.
[You know what’s to come right?] She asked him as she was a bit excited.
“Meeting another Old fucker…”He sighed as he copied the ranks of the leaders he had met weeks ago.
More than that, he’d earned the affection of countless Void Emperors by doing something they believed was for their own good. Ash Originat—that’s all they knew—whether he, she, or it, was the one responsible for making their land completely inhabitable again.
For that, they held endless respect, admiration, and affection.
In a realm teeming with Void Emperors, he began to acquire all their conceptual powers—though at this stage, they were just the concepts themselves. Some were repetitive, making it a little underwhelming, but overall, he’d made quite a haul.
HUMMMMM!!!!
The moment he ascended to the Void Emperor rank, his vision began to shift. This time he was ready, so it didn’t catch him off guard, and he was astonished to find himself being drawn into a strange rift.
“Here we go again…”
