Chapter 166: Master-Disciple Bonding

Chapter 166: Master-Disciple Bonding

Kaelthyr was truly no scrub or pushover.

He was a monster through and through… way before he fully unlocked his system. Before its activation, he had already put fear in civilizations and ruined entire worlds. Now, after activation along with such an absurd bloodline, the man now stood in a state of power not many vampires could see.

He, a Paragon-ranked Vampire… with a bloodline known as the Sanguine Monarch… a bloodline with a tale that would cause universes to run… but that was for another time. He was a different sort of monster now and amidst billions of undead mindless creatures who only wanted him dead, he stood untouched as every foe fell.

His sword Aura of Endless Blood transformed the surrounding 30 million kilometers into pure blood rivers.

The skies bled crimson, the ground became an ocean of thick, churning red, the air itself turned to liquid blood that carried swords—some the size of mountains, others no bigger than particles. Despite their size, each one carried the full power of his Mid Stellar Sovereign rank.

Each sword tore through Early and Mid-Stellar foes alike—SHK! SHK! SHK!—bodies sliced apart, blood joining the rivers, the air filled with the wet, ripping sound of flesh parting and the low, constant roar of the crimson tide.

He stood in the middle of this bloody domain untouched as each time a being tried to get close, they died before they could even launch a blow—swords finding throats, hearts, skulls in perfect silence.

“To think this brat had the audacity to test me,” he scoffed as his grey eyes shifted to Ash who was too having his way with the crowd, but in a much more… methodical manner.

Ash was not simply killing the foes… no, he was systematically breaking them and the environment. Every attack—whether sword or fist—was laced with Laws of Life and Light forcing everything to fall into chaos.

Undead died and were revived over and over—flesh knitting only to tear again, bones resetting only to shatter—until they exploded in sprays of bone and rotting meat, causing pure chaos to brew. The ground cracked and healed in endless cycles, the air shimmered with conflicting light and darkness, the very realm seemed to scream as life and death fought in violent harmony.

With the two Stellar Sovereigns down, the undead were the only thing that needed to be cleared.

Without their necromancers controlling them… it was nothing more than slaying dummies. However, the more Ash forced an imbalance in the Lower Abyss… pure Chaos continued to brew until it reached a boiling point.

[Perfect… I will now activate Conceptual Sight.] Elysia’s voice echoed in his mind as he continued to force Chaos.

As Kaelthyr slayed the final undead on his end he couldn’t help but wonder what Ash was doing. He and Sylvie both could clearly see he was not merely trying to kill them… and for some reason he could feel an imbalance growing stronger—pressure building in the air, space itself trembling.

“The hell is this kid doing?” He asked his system.

[Host, your disciple is forcing… Chaos.] His system replied in its mechanical tone.

“Chaos?” He questioned before he continued. “What the hell is that? Some sort of disorder?”

[Precisely… but it’s a Law… The Law of Chaos, something rare… almost forgotten.]

Kaelthyr was left speechless as he couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, but he could feel it… and then his system sounded again.

[The Law of Chaos is no simple matter… It’s impossible to comprehend… if he fails, he would undoubtedly die.]

“Well, why the hell didn’t you say something beforehand?!” Kaelthyr exclaimed as he could not allow Ash to perish.

If he did, then where would he find such a golden finger again?

[Host don’t act rashly. Although it should be impossible… this disciple of yours is too anomalous. Let’s just wat—]

Before the system could even finish, the entire Lower Abyss froze. Then a grey light bathed the entire Lower Abyss as Ash spread his twelve wings wide. In his mind Elysia’s voice echoed again.

[Beautiful… The Law of Chaos is fully comprehended.] She said with a tone of amazement.

In Ash’s vision he could see countless threads tangled in a mess. These were the threads of the Lower Abyss… and from what he could see was…

“So much disorder… so much chaos.”

Now, attaining this Law was not the original plan by any means.

However, Elysia being the finest Nexus there was always looked for ways to become more. When her knowledge covered the Erebus Galaxy, she learned of faint tales… myths of the Law of Chaos. It was something that was supposed to be one of the Seven Apex Laws… now these Laws weren’t necessarily more powerful than the next, but they were the laws before the others…

The closest thing to a concept.

It was said from Chaos everything came… and after hearing that in the Myth, Ash knew right away that it was bullshit, but the thing that intrigued him was how disorder can also bring creation.

His hands began to move in speeds the eyes could not track, and he organized the threads until there was a balance of Chaos and something else, he couldn’t quite understand… But he assumed it to be Order.

As he did this the Lower Abyss began to change and shift until it looked like a lush landscape—dead ground blooming with white grass, black rivers turning clear, skies cracking to reveal faint starlight.

He then went a step further as he tapped into talents and titles.

{Forger of the Unwritten Cycle} His eyes shone with a slight gold tint.

|Eternal Origin Nexus|

He then began to desire this world anew. Using some of the advice given to him by Elysia countless times before, he filled the entire Lower Abyss with creatures of Primavus. There were only a multitude of beasts that were all pure white in color with various Primavus features—wings, fangs, pointy ears, absurd beauty and power.

When he finished the Lower Abyss was no more, instead it looked like a paradise on one end and a well-constructed battlefield on the next. Although he wouldn’t directly oversee these creatures, he wouldn’t allow anything with his bloodline to fall weak. So, each one received sub-nexuses and other boons that would be found around the lower levels of this world.

As everyone watched this magnificence, they had no words… none at all. Even Kaelthyr’s system was silent.

Ash smiled before he teleported aside Sylvie bringing Kaelthyr along.

“Haha, quit with the faces. We have more work to do, and things will only get tougher.” He said before they moved towards the main castle.

“We will see what kinds of things they’d held hostage before heading upwards.”
