The rest of the time inside Clear Sky flew by—training, tradition, and getting to know people.

Tang Yin's diary filled up with sketches and names at rapid speed as she recorded the happenings of each and every day out of habit.

Then it was time to leave. Packing up their things with well wishes and strong pats on their shoulders, they were brought down from the mountain and eventually arrived at the village, where it was time to separate once again. Tang San would head to Shrek, and Tang Yin with Jiang would head toward the Arctic lands in the high north.

Jiang was already at the village waiting for her, as she wished her goodbye to Tang Long, who had guided them. He said goodbye and stepped back when it was time for the siblings to part. Tang San fussed over her and finally shoved a hermelin coat that went all the way to her ankles into her hands, telling her time and time again to be careful and to stay toasty warm.

She assured him she would turn up like a bad penny again, and being with Jiang, she had, in fact, truly little to fear.

Tang Yin spread her wings once again, rendering Tang Long speechless as she headed into the sky, followed by Jiang, who acknowledged the

still worried Tang San solemnly before following Tang Yin into the heights.

Tang Long watched them, and his gaze turned to Tang San. "Is she truly stronger than you?" He asked the young man who had astonished the clan with his genius. It was an open, though unconfirmed, fact that Tang Yin was the stronger spirit master of the twins.

Tang San nodded. "Yes. She is flying with Jiang to the Arctic lands for her sixth spirit ring. I have catching up to do. I think a part of why I am where I stand today is because she was always running ahead. I had to keep up; what kind of brother would I be if I couldn't protect my sister, who holds such deep parts of my soul? I am sure without Yin I would have ended up being a different, colder, much more calculating man."

Tang Long shook his head. "I would be fearing a world in which you would be colder. You aren't exactly a warm personality when your sister is not in the room."

"Now imagine I had never met her. She taught me what it means to be a family. To laugh at silly things, to pursue a passion regardless of skill for the pure joy of doing it. She taught me how to dare and attempt impossibilities, oh, and how sometimes just telling the world to fuck itself, I am going to do it my way is the only true solution to some problems."

Tang Long blinked. He had not expected such crudeness from a man as refined as Tang San, but then recalled the man he had grown to know the last few days. He was a cool epitome of calculated coldness and polished politeness when you met him alone. Older than his years, but when he was interacting with his sister, he was different. He was a devoted brother; he joked, made silly mistakes, did silly things, and laughed without holding back at all. It was as if he just lit up. And Yin was so different; her values almost foreign, her actions puzzling, yet they also made sense. Her skill was undeniable, and he admitted she did not realise just how skilled she was. She knew she was strong, but it seemed almost as if she was used to being above average, but nothing special.

But she was a monster.

He sighed; in the sight of such talent, Tang Long realised all he could do was accept it and march forward at his own speed.

"Yes, I would dread a world where your sister wouldn't have been around."

Yin flew higher, beyond the clouds, as they were like cotton candy beneath her, and she stretched her wings.

Jiang, once high enough, transformed into his dragon; he stubbed her, and she smiled until settling on his back. "It's going to be a long flight." She muttered. "Are you really going to be angry with me all the way?"

He growled, and she leaned against him, closing her eyes. "Alright, alright, I am not going to ask anymore."

The sky soared past them, as the air slowly but surely grew colder bit by bit. Eventually Yin began to bundle up as the air started to turn white in front of her.

It was eventually so cold that she covered herself in spirit power to protect herself when Jiang slowly lowered from the heights beneath them, revealing a landscape of endless white. Broken shards of ice, mountains rising into the skies, breaking through the clouds.

"Wow." She muttered. "It is amazing."

Truly amazing, as Jiang landed and she hopped off his back, her feet touching the icy ground and promptly slipping and landing on her butt.

"Spirit beasts rule the Arctic lands," Jiang said, bowing down to help her up. "Nature rules supreme here. Stick close to me. Most here don't

know you, unlike in Star Dou Forest, and will not treat you as you are used to."

"Gotcha." She nodded and shivered as the wind picked up beneath her coat. It was truly freezing.
