Chapter 792 Engagement Party [Part 2]

Chapter 792  Engagement Party [Part 2]

“May I have the honor of claiming your first time?” Thirteen asked Erica.

As he wasn’t far from them, Gerald overheard his son’s misleading words, making him choke on the fruit punch he was drinking.

Of course, it wasn’t only Gerald who had such a surprised reaction. Several other young men close enough to hear Zion also looked at him weirdly, judging his choice of words.

“You mean, first dance, right?” Erica giggled as she curtsied, accepting her fiance’s invitation. The two of them then walked to the center of the dance floor, with Zion holding Erica’s hand.

“You look very beautiful today,” Thirteen said.

“Your Grandma made sure to go all out in dressing me up,” Erica replied. “Did I make your heart skip a beat?”

“Are you talking about palpitations?” Thirteen asked. “If you get those regularly, maybe we should go visit a clinic?”

The smile on Erica’s face stiffened after figuring out that her overly smart fiance had misunderstood what she was trying to say.

The two then began to dance to the melodious music playing in the background.

Thirteen’s movements were flawless, while Erica’s dance was graceful. Both of them were amazing to behold, making the young ladies and the young men watching them sigh in amazement.

As they continued to dance, Erica thought of something, so she asked her fiance a question.

“By the way, Zion, who is the most beautiful girl you’ve seen in your life?” Erica asked with great curiosity. “The most beautiful?” Thirteen pondered the answer to this question. If the topic were beauties, he had seen hundreds of them.

Charming beauties, seductive beauties, jade-like immortals, Demigods, Deities, and even Goddesses of Beauty and Love. He had seen beauties who could bring the downfall of a nation and many others. There were even the blessed ladies whose beauty was so out of this world that looking at them could instantly charm a person, making them helplessly fall in love with the former.

So when asked who was the most beautiful of them all, Thirteen was hard-pressed to decide on an answer.

In the end, the young man chose the safest answer.

“I think you’re the most beautiful of them,” Thirteen said because according to Vincent’s notebook, this question was something that some ladies asked.

If he named other ladies aside from his partner, they would definitely be disappointed, which might lead to their relationship becoming estranged. Erica immediately blushed, finding Zion’s words a surprise since she thought that he would mention the names of other girls.

In fact, she had already prepared herself for it.

But when he said she was the most beautiful lady he had seen in his life, Erica felt something warm spread inside her chest.

Because of this, she wasn’t able to help herself from kissing Thirteen’s cheek in front of everyone as they danced together.

“Oh my~” Alessia was very happy to see such a scene. She immediately glanced at Erica’s parents, who were standing beside her to see their reaction.

Erica’s mother, Hazel, looked at her daughter with a faint smile on her face.

She could clearly see how much Erica liked the teenage boy dancing with her right now.

Hazel also knew that her daughter used to like the leader of the Hero Party, Roland.

In fact, Erica would often ask her for advice on how to get close to him.

As a mother, she did her best to give her some good advice, but since Roland only treated Erica as a friend, she hoped that her daughter would be able to find someone else to love.

Fortunately, Zion came into her life.

Hazel believed that Zion Leventis was many times better than Roland despite the fact that he was younger than her daughter.

But the beautiful woman also knew about her daughter’s frustration as she often privately referred to Zion as someone with a very high IQ but very low EQ.

Her daughter even had a nickname for him, and that was Mr. Iceberg.

Why?

Because although Zion looked cold and aloof from a distance, he only showed people the tip of the iceberg.

He was like a guarded treasure chest that could only be opened by those who were willing enough to break the ice that covered it.

Erica and Sherry had long discovered that despite his cold and aloof personality, Zion could show a different kind of warmth that made their hearts skip a beat.

His simple attempts to make them know he cared for them were one of the things the two young ladies liked about him.

They knew how hard it was for Zion to really care about people outside of his family. Knowing that he treated them as special individuals, Erica and Sherry treasured their interactions with Zion in their hearts.

The more she and Sherry spent time with Zion, the more they understood that he was really innocent when it came to human relationships.

Because of this, the two ladies took it upon themselves to teach him how to interact with the opposite gender.

Which led to many… interesting developments as of late.

This was especially true after they discovered that Zion was weak to alcohol.

In an intoxicated state, the teenage boy would become very bold and daring, allowing Erica and Sherry to see a side of him that they would like to keep for themselves.

“What are you thinking?” Zion asked after seeing the faint blush that appeared on Erica’s face. “N-Nothing,” Erica replied.

Fortunately, her self-control and willpower were strong at the moment, so she didn’t blurt out the thing that was inside of her head. Finally, the dance ended, and both of them were greeted with resounding applause, and cheers. Thirteen then escorted his fiance toward their table, where he next asked Sherry for a dance.

Vincent was quick to take the opportunity to ask for Erica to dance with him, and to his surprise, the young lady agreed to it.

“I thought you were going to turn me down,” Vincent said with a smile. “Why do you think that?” Erica asked.

“Because Zion doesn’t want me to dance with Shasha,” Vincent replied. “But he didn’t say anything when I invited you.”

“That’s because Zion knows I won’t cheat on him,” Erica replied before moving close to whisper in Vincent’s ear. “Also, those notebooks of yours have been very helpful. Do make sure you keep giving more of them to Zion.”

Vincent never got a straight answer from Zion whenever he asked the teenage boy if he had tried the pointers he had written in the notebooks he had passed to him.

Zion would always answer vaguely or change the subject whenever Vincent brought out this topic.

However, the younger boy would also ask if he had more notes available so that he could read them.
