I knew that some of you had read System’s POV as your very first entry to the Elyverse.

To be perfectly honest, this was the hardest story I had written so far in my life.

Why?

It was because Thirteen was the most unique MC in the Elyverse as of March 30, 2026.

Many readers gave up reading this novel because they felt that he was “too weak” compared to the overpowered characters that many people were used to reading.

Frankly, it was truly a challenge writing this story because I needed to create the perfect balance. The other thing that made things difficult in writing this story was Thirteen’s character.

He was supposed to be a system.

A machine that shouldn’t have any human emotions.

I thought this was where the real challenge came in, especially when it came to relationships. If you had read my other stories, you might have noticed that my “smut” for this novel was nearly non-existent.

Unlike my other MCs, who were 100% human… Wait, two of them were Half-Elves, so maybe 50% human and 50% elf?

Anyway, you get my drift. Our boy, Thirteen, was just built differently.

How could I portray someone with nearly zero emotions having any romantic relationships with anyone?

Unfortunately, I was not the kind of author who wrote “Outlines.”

Yes, I, the Great Elyon, was a pantser. I wrote my Chapters daily on the fly without a detailed plan or story progression.

But after writing four completed novels, I thought that maybe that wasn’t such a bad thing.

What I liked about being a pantser was the fact that I could throw curveballs that sometimes blew people away.

Twists that branched out due to a flash of inspiration. Sometimes, I read those mini arcs and said, “Whoever wrote this is a genius!”

Ahem, I would like to say that I was not tooting my own horn.

Because Ely didn’t have a horn—only my shamelessness.

Still, my original plan was for Thirteen to only have four female leads.

Yes… but because I didn’t have an outline and had this habit of adding ladies to the stories I wrote, the number of female leads always surpassed my target.

Still, I did my best to give justice to the heroines, which I hoped you enjoyed.

I didn’t want to brag, but I was one of the few male lead authors who could actually write good romance.

But I wasn’t sure if my romance was good enough in this story.

This entire novel was composed of exactly 1,969,257 words… a story I had written for two years.

All of my stories ended after two years because I believed that this was a good time to end them.

And I hoped, with everything I had, that YOU—who had finished this novel from beginning to end—enjoyed it.

You, who had remained despite the fact that many others had stopped reading because the story was not for them.

All I could say was, “Thank you very much!”

It was all thanks to your continuous support that I was able to bring a conclusion to this novel.

It was all thanks to your continuous support that I, Elyon, am still able to write more stories for everyone to enjoy.

Although sometimes, my fingers ache due to inflammation, or I sometimes suffer from GERD or any other medical ailments, I still did my best to continue writing.

Because of this, I wanted to use this opportunity to thank all of you, who leave comments everyday. I know that many of you were silent readers.

There was nothing wrong about that. But, we authors like to interact with our readers as well.

Please, for the sake of my other author friends, do your best to leave a comment everyday whenever you read their Chapters.

Sometimes, writing makes us feel as if we were writing only for ourselves. When no one leaves comments, or no one reacts to our Chapters, we feel alone, and isolated.

System’s POV might have ended, but Thirteen’s story would never end. He would become a very important MC in the Elyverse, making appearances in the next stories that I would write.

It had been a long journey, and all of you that had become a part of this adventure would remain in my heart until the end of time.
