Chapter 1241: The True Power Of The Great Killing Array [Part 1]

The splashing of water softly spread inside the bathroom as Thirteen helped Sherry bathe.

She had fully recovered after a good night’s sleep, but for some reason, Thirteen was giving her the princess treatment.

“Um, I can wash myself, Zion.”

“I know you can, but I insist.”

That was the exchange that the two of them shared a few minutes ago, which left Sherry no choice but to let Thirteen wash her body, making sure that every nook and cranny was clean.

His gentle touch and the soft kisses that he planted on her skin made the young lady shudder.

Despite the cold water pouring from above, Thirteen had lit a fire inside of her body, making her feel as if her skin was burning.

After he finished washing her body, Thirteen carried her into the bathtub that could easily fit four people.

Sherry had lost the strength in her legs, so she had no choice but to cling to Zion, who gently lowered her to the bathtub so she could soak in warm water.

“Ngh… chu…”

As soon as Thirteen sat behind her, Sherry turned around to kiss his lips.

For a moment, only the sound of kissing was heard inside the bathroom, which only ended when Sherry finally pulled back, her face flushed as she panted for breath.

Thirteen held her gently, pulling her close to him.

The two cuddled for a few minutes before Sherry whispered in Thirteen’s ear.

Because of that, they only left the bathroom after an hour. Sherry even had to be carried out by Zion back to their bedroom, then wiped dry.

“I love you, Zion,” Sherry said, feeling content as she sat on his lap and hugged him tightly.

“I love you too, Sherry,” Thirteen replied, hugging her back.

The two were still basking in the afterglow of their intimacy, not wanting to separate from each other.

Sherry liked it when Zion treated her gently because it made her feel loved. She wasn’t like Erica and Shana, who preferred to be treated roughly, something no one beside Thirteen’s lovers knew.

Of course, she understood that her lover was treating her this way because of what happened to her yesterday.

Half an hour later, Tiona entered the room and told Zion that Kamrusepa was inviting him to breakfast.

Since it would be rude to reject the invitation of their hosts, Thirteen headed to the dining room with Tiona and Sherry.

When he arrived, Mikhail, Siri, Cranky, and the three ladies from the Venom Heart Cabal were already there.

After his talks with the blue-eyed lady ended, Kamrusepa’s healers treated Misha and her subordinates, fixing their broken bones.

They were quite fortunate. Instead of breaking their bones, Cranky merely dislocated them. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have recovered this fast.

Misha and her subordinate visibly flinched the moment their gaze landed on the teenage boy, who made them understand that he wasn’t someone they could afford to offend.

“Please sit, Zion, Sherry, and Tiona,” Kamrusepa said as the maids pulled back the chairs meant for them.

As soon as they were seated, Kamrusepa ordered the maids to start serving the food so they could all have breakfast together.

Using her expertise in diplomacy, Kamrusepa started the conversation and smoothly made sure that everyone participated in it.

They openly talked about Thirteen’s plan to attack the Blackfang Dominion after the sun set, making sure that the spies that were around them would report to their superiors.

Truth be told, the Blackfang Dominion rejoiced after discovering that the Venom Heart Cabal and Thirteen had a conflict with each other.

King Valtheron even sent a delegation to the capital city of the Venom Heart Cabal, hoping they could form an alliance against their common enemy.

However, the Venom Heart Cabal declared that they would not take part in the conflict between Zion and the Blackfang Dominion.

They added that they would deal with the teenage boy in their own way, which made King Valtheron sigh in disappointment.

However, he still managed to get the Venom Heart Cabal to promise that no matter what happened, they would not interfere in their face-off against the boy and the Majin King that was accompanying him.

“How confident are you that you will be able to beat them on your own?” Kamrusepa asked.

“A hundred percent,” Thirteen replied, not caring that the spies were listening to every word he said. “As long as Azrael enters their domain, all of them will be begging for me to become their new Master.”

He didn’t even mention anything about the Great Killing Array since he didn’t want his enemies to know that he was aware of their secret weapon.

Thirteen talked in an arrogant tone and made sure to mention that Cranky could obliterate the Blackfang Dominion regardless of what tricks they used.

The three ladies of the Venom Heart Cabal didn’t make any comment and simply ate, just quietly listening to his conversation with Kamrusepa.

They had seen who was backing Thirteen, as well as the true rank of the handsome man who goes by the name Azrael.

But they were more invested in how the teenage boy would prove himself worthy of becoming their leader.

They made it clear that unless Zion showed them that he could defeat the Blackfang Dominion using only his own abilities, they would not be loyal to him even if he forced them to submit.

He had set a deadline, which was on the night of the full moon.

And that night was tonight.

The Majin Queen, who was watching through her clone’s eyes, was wondering how the teenage boy would be able to defeat the Blackfang Dominion without the Celestial’s help.

Of course, if Thirteen said that he alone wouldn’t be able to win against the Blackfang Dominion, they would find it reasonable. In their eyes, it was simply impossible.

How could a human child, who could easily be killed by a Rank 6 Sovereign, even dare to fight against a Majin Prince?

If the one who would rule over them was Azrael, they could still accept it. After all, it was clear to see that his strength was the real deal. ᴛhis chapter is ᴜpdated by NovєlFіre.net

They still think that Zion was simply Azrael’s subordinate, a spokesperson just like Misha.

While they could still acknowledge him as the Celestial’s right-hand man, the respect they would give him wouldn’t be that high.

When breakfast ended, the spies hurriedly contacted their superiors and relayed the information they had received.

King Valtheron and the Great Shaman, Rhovan, scoffed at the human boy’s bravado.

Even so, they still took his threat seriously, knowing that once the boy was defeated, the one who goes by the name Azrael would immediately take over.

“We will capture him alive and use him as a hostage,” King Valtheron said. “As long as he is alive, you can do anything you want with him.”

“Good.” Rhovan sneered. “I’ll make sure that boy can never speak arrogantly again.

He planned to torture Zion, cut off his tongue, and make sure that he would never defy them again.

Although the one who goes by the name Azrael would still be a threat to them, they were confident that their Great Killing Array would be able to seriously injure him.

Once they succeeded, the Blackfang Dominion would then go on the offensive and kill Azrael once and for all.

That was their plan, and they were confident that they would be able to do it.

However, they would soon realize that they had made a grave mistake.

They had given Thirteen enough time to make his preparations, which allowed him to snatch the same trump card that they were planning to use against him and Cranky.
