“Yes, Your Majesty,” Bask replied.
“And you’ve never seen him before?”
“No, Sire. This is the first time I saw him here in Antares.”
King Valtheron lightly tapped the armrest of his chair as if thinking of how this matter should be dealt with.
He thought that he was the strongest being in Antares because he was only a step away from becoming a Majin King.

Bask and the Guards bowed respectfully before leaving the throne room in haste.
They knew exactly what their King was planning to do after he mentioned the Great Killing Array.
A great magical formation was created within the territories that belonged to the Blackfang Dominion.
Elandris City was the center of this formation, allowing it to harness great power by using the ley lines that ran through the territories under its control.
If this Great Killing Array were activated, even a Majin King wouldn’t stand a chance, dying helplessly upon setting foot in the formation.
Clearly, King Valtheron wouldn’t take this threat lying down and eliminate it before it could threaten his rule.
The throne room became silent as soon as Bask and the Guards had left.
King Valtheron leaned back against his throne, his golden eyes glinting faintly with amusement and malice.
“An unknown man dares to meddle in my affairs,” King Valtheron muttered under his breath. “I’ll find out who you are… and crush you before you can grow into a problem. It doesn’t matter if you are a Majin King. The moment you enter my domain, I will end you without fail.”

Half an hour later, King Valtheron met the representatives of the different factions under the Blackfang Dominion.
The Chief Shaman and his subordinates had also arrived, joining the emergency meeting with their peers.
“A new threat has appeared here in Antares,” King Valtheron announced. “I don’t know if you have heard about Bask and Zarn going to Kamrusepa’s domain to invite her to become part of our faction.
“Some of you may already know that it didn’t end well, and Zarn’s current condition is unknown.”
The representative of the Vermillion Royal Family looked anxious because Zarn was the strongest Vermillion Bird in their faction.
Their King was a Majin King, but he remained in Gomorra, so he sent Zarn and a few of his Rank 9 subordinates to protect his son, who was courting Siri.
“However, we will not bow to anyone, even if he is a Majin King!” King Valtheron declared.
Everyone in the meeting room nodded in agreement.
They had sacrificed many things to get to where they were at right now, and they would not allow anyone to easily trample what they’d been building for the past centuries.
As long as they held on until the day the barriers surrounding Antares disappeared, allowing them to invade the other continents and become the ultimate rulers of the world of Pangea.
So they would not allow themselves to be intimidated by this newcomer, whom King Valtheron assumed to be a Majin King.
“But is he really a Majin King?” the representative of the Vermilion Royal Family asked.
“I wasn’t able to assess his rank,” Bask admitted. “But I believe that he is. Zarn is stronger than me, yet he was defeated by a single kick. Granted that he might have underestimated his enemy, but as a Vermillion Bird, he would not go down so easily.
“The fact that he was overpowered like that proved that his enemy was at least a Rank stronger than him. That is the only explanation that I can give you.”
A sigh escaped the representative’s lips because what Bask was saying was the truth.
“Fret not. We will avenge Zarn and get rid of this pest who dared to threaten our faction!” King Valtheron stated, earning the approval of the other leaders. “And for this to happen, we needed to activate the Great Killing Array!”
The Shaman Chieftain narrowed his eyes. “I want to see how strong that arrogant fellow is. Let’s see if he can survive our Great Killing Array.”
He was the one who personally created the killing array that spanned hundreds of miles, connecting the territories of the factions that belonged to the Blackfang Dominion.
