Chapter 1655: Families

Once the war was over, the four kingdoms held a big celebration. There was not a single city that didn't celebrate this victory.

Noel was on one knee before Wendy.

Wendy announced aloud, "For all his achievements in the Great Demon War, I give Noel Ardagan the title of 'Hero.'"

The power of the demon kings had spread all around the world. Those who witnessed that power could only shudder in fear and realize how powerful Noel was.

Noel was known as the world's hero. Of course, Anna also received her own title as the one who killed the supreme devil. Other soldiers, from the lowest to the highest, also received their fair share of rewards.

Everyone was cheering for their victory, as this celebration lasted for seven days and seven nights.

For Noel, the title of a hero was not important. The most important thing was the fact that he could finally live again with his parents.

The aftermath of his battle with the demon kings was unbelievable. The destroyed battlefield had become a forbidden zone, as restoration was close to impossible. Even Noel believed he should let nature take over.

The rift he created by unleashing the 'Spirit Sovereignty' ended up becoming one of the wonders of the world.

People were visiting there simply to witness the power of a spirit king or to research the depth of the abyss.

It was later known as the Abyss of Death.

Nevertheless, now that the war was over, Noel and Anna could finally do what they had promised each other.

In just one year, they had succeeded.

Anna was lying down weakly on the bed while smiling as she listened to the crying baby.

Leysha was handing the baby gently to Noel, who was trying his best to hold back his tears.

There were many times he wondered what would happen if one of them or both of them died in that war.

However, that worry could finally be gone as he held the most precious treasure in the world.

Noel and Anna finally became parents.

"Have you thought about his name?" Leysha asked.

Noel and Anna smiled. "Yes."

With the baby holding his finger, Noel answered, "He was born after all the battle for survival. I hope he will become a wise leader that possesses the courage and strength to lead this land. His name shall be Leon, Leon Ardagan."

Even though Anna and Noel often competed with each other, they didn't fight for this name. Both of them actually suggested the same thing.

Noel came to Anna and put Leon in the middle while holding Anna. "Thank you… Thank you for everything."

Anna just kissed him.

The celebration for Leon's birth was huge. Noel even did a lot of things for not only his territory but also for the world.

Kevin and the entire Stargaze family visited. The same applied to Raincart and the entire Ezenholm family.

Leysha was crying like a little girl when she first reunited with Raincart after the war. They hadn't met for decades and the fact that the little girl tricked him into thinking she was executed made Raincart so angry that he almost had a heart attack.

Kevin and Luke were also drinking from time to time.

Best friends, grandfather and granddaughter, brothers, and all families could finally unite.

Finally, the moment the two Annas had been waiting for had arrived.

There were two girls. The first one had the same appearance as Anna Stargaze that everyone knew. The second woman had blond hair but blue eyes. They were similar to twins, but not completely the same.

This was the homunculus that Khalid had created. It took him a while, but he finally succeeded.

Both of them were walking to the garden, where Kevin asked for a reunion. In the distance, the entire family had been chatting while waiting for Anna.

As expected, the woman with blue eyes was rather nervous, fully aware of how she would be perceived.

Still, they walked together, supporting each other.

When the family noticed their arrival, they turned their heads, only to be surprised to see two 'Annas.'

Kevin dropped his jaw. He didn't know whether it was blood or something. Something clicked in him.

In an instant, he appeared in front of the Anna with blue eyes and hugged her tightly. "My daughter. I know you're my daughter. I thought you had changed… but it turned out I never lost you…"

The real Anna couldn't help but smile. He still remembered what the original Anna said to her after the war.

"As I said, I'm changing my mind. I will not go back to my real body. Instead, I will live in a new body."

"What?" Anna didn't expect the original Anna to change her mind. She was prepared to give back the body after she gave birth to Noel's child.
