Chapter 1653: Death

"Aaaahhhh!" The sky demon king screamed in pain as his body disappeared together with his scream.

"You…" The land demon king was speechless. He hurriedly struck Noel, but the latter had also regained his power and blocked it completely.

The land demon king didn't expect that Noel would be able to kill the sky demon king in one strike.

The moment his attack failed, the land demon king turned pale. Without the sky demon king, he couldn't do anything to Noel.

The land demon king gritted his teeth and threatened him back. "Stop chasing me. We are going back to that battlefield. Of course, I'm definitely going to kill your mother if you keep chasing me!"

"You underestimate humans a lot, even though you became a human in order to gain your new power." Noel snorted.

"Me underestimating humans? Not at all. I've overestimated them. You should know more than I do.

"Humans are shit. They are depraved. They will do anything in their power to fulfill their greed. When you feed them too much, they will take it for granted. Humans are better off dead."

Noel couldn't help but agree to a certain extent. This might be why his ancestor, Milinda, chose to leave this world, letting the demons enter to massacre the humans.

Humans would definitely destroy themselves. And so, she made one last effort to unite the humans by introducing a common enemy, the demons.

Even with this common enemy, there were still conflicts everywhere. The humans would do everything in their power to maintain their power and wealth.

Still, Noel knew that those who had fallen for those sins were not as many as the demon king claimed to be.

"I know humans are foolish."

The demon king smirked, thinking he could persuade Noel.

But Noel continued, "But foolish and evil are two different things!"

"I can just cut them down if they are evil, but if they are foolish, I can always teach them to be wiser. And that's why I choose to protect humanity. And now, you are going to taste the power of those foolish humans."

The land demon king turned his head around as his eyes were wide open. He couldn't believe what he saw in front.

Countless demons had been slain. In fact, he doubted there were still any demons left.

When they sensed the demon king, Leysha abruptly shouted, "Enemy incoming!"

The land demon king gnashed his teeth and raised his sword.

"All people. Obey my order! Shoot him down!" Noel shouted, his voice echoing across the battlefield.

Leysha widened her eyes and became determined. "Ice Impact!"

"Soul Devourer." Andreas swung his blade right after.

When they saw the two pioneers, all of them released their respective attacks. Even if they could only shoot a normal arrow, they would still do everything they could to help.

The Water Lord and the Magic Lord were surprised. This was probably the first time all these humans moved with a single order.

"You useless trash! Know your place!" The demon king shouted as he unleashed his demonic king path.

His power was so immense that it broke apart all their attacks and even sent pressure to them.

"Gah!" Leysha and Andreas spat out a mouthful of blood as a lot of soldiers were blown away by the sheer pressure.

The humans finally understood what kind of enemy Noel had been fighting all this time. And it was not just one. There were two demon kings at first.

Noel raised his blade with his left hand. "They might be useless in your eyes, but their joint attack has forced you to unleash your strength to stop them."

"!!!" The demon king widened his eyes. He turned around, but it was too late.

Divine Slash.

Noel unleashed one last strike to end it all.

"NO!" The demon king's scream gradually faded away as his body split into two.

The humans gasped. They were wondering if their eyes were playing tricks on them. They knew how powerful the demon king was. But as Noel said, they had forced him to unleash his power, allowing Noel to cut him down.

Even if they were useless… even if that was just for one instance… they still took part in slaying the demon king.

Just that fact alone made them want to cry, but Noel's next action was what broke them.

No one would only admire and revere him even if he took all the credit by himself. They knew how powerful the demon kings were and Noel had to take down the two of them.

Yet, Noel broadcast his voice to the entire battlefield.

"Listen up! The sky demon king had been slain by me. And the one in front of you earlier was none other than the land demon king."

Noel raised his sword. "This is our victory!"

The moment Noel acknowledged their efforts, they burst into tears as they raised their arms and cheered at the top of their lungs.
