Old Ru waved his hand. "Arctic Queen, Vampire. Both of you are to remain in the kingdom. They are besieging us, so we will have to make sure their plan doesn’t succeed.

"Phantom, Venom Overlord. You two will take my grandson and smash the enemy head-on. I will be going to the west. This way, the kingdom only has to worry about the north and the east.

"Diva. I’d like to ask you to reinforce the Zaecuria Kingdom from the north. I have asked Noel Ardagan about this.

"According to him, he will be sending Dimitri, his butler, to ensure the smooth operation."

They fell silent. It looked like Old Ru had a different agenda. Phantom asked, "Old Ru, shouldn’t you bring your grandson with you? This will be a perfect time to teach him? His strength has reached the requirement, so with your teaching, he can become a new elder."

Old Ru shook his head with a small smile. "No. Your direction has more demons compared to mine.

"The Lion Tribe will remain in the capital. The Wolf Tribe and the Bear Tribe will focus on the north. The Bird Tribe, the Bat Tribe, and the Horse Tribe will focus on the east. The rest of the tribes will stay behind and be adjusted depending on the circumstances.

"Arctic Queen. I know that you are capable of doing anything. You might not be a master of everything, but you are definitely at a high level. That’s why your expertise is necessary for this defensive battle. The beast kingdom’s defense will be left to you.

"My Turtle Tribe will guard the west. I will bring the Rabbit Tribe and the Goat Tribe with me."

All of them were quite surprised by the arrangement. Then again, the Turtle Tribe was known for its defense, not speed. It looked like Old Ru was planning to do something that required speed, considering he wanted the Rabbit Tribe, who was known to be one of the fastest tribes in their kingdom, and the Goat Tribe, who was famous for their strength.

"Prophet..." The Lion King looked at him with eyes filled with concern. Old Ru was determined to make this battle his last.

If he won, he might survive, but he didn’t know what Old Ru was thinking.

"Your Majesty. Please approve my arrangement. I wish for the best of the kingdom." The Prophet lowered his head.

The Lion King bit his lip. He wanted to stop him. He wanted to tell everyone that Old Ru planned to die so that they would stop him together.

But this was a disgrace for a king. As a king, he was responsible for everyone’s lives and decisions. That was why he couldn’t show weakness.

Even though his heart wanted to say something else, the Lion King could only stand up and say with a resolute face, "May fortune be with you."

Old Ru smiled. With the Lion King’s words, Old Ru walked away as the Diva, the Venom Overlord, and the Phantom followed right behind.

The Phantom and the Diva looked concerned. The Venom Overlord was a gentleman. He liked to fight, but he was honorable and gentle to others. That was why it was unusual to see him break his character.

"Venom Overlord. I’m sorry, but can I entrust you with my grandson?"

"You..." The Venom Overlord gritted his teeth. He wanted to hit him because of his selfishness, but he knew he couldn’t change Old Ru’s decision after seeing his expression.

Andreas was not even Old Ru’s biological child. He was his friend’s biological child. However, their relationship had truly become like a real grandfather and grandson.

The Venom Overlord clenched his hands into fists. "You sly bastard."

Old Ru just smiled. "In the future I saw, the enemy hit Noel Ardagan from behind."

"Literally?"

"No."

The Venom Overlord instantly realized what might happen. "Do you mean the Zaecuria Kingdom and the Atracaeca Kingdom are going to fall?"

Old Ru nodded with a serious expression. This was a big matter. They never thought the two kingdoms would fall just like this.

"That’s why I need you, Diva, to help the Zaecuria Kingdom. I’m afraid that the number of demons or even the ancient demons is much higher than we originally thought."

"..." The Diva contemplated for a second before nodding. "I understand. Besides, I have my own debt to Noel Ardagan. I will take care of the Zaecuria Kingdom."

"Good. Dimitri should be waiting for you when you reach the Greenwood Kingdom’s coast. You can go there with him."

The Diva acknowledged the arrangement.

"You should ask him about further arrangements. Although I told everyone that you two would be hitting the enemy coming from the south, it was supposed to be only Venom Overlord and my grandson."

The Phantom nodded. "I understand-nya. I will make sure to accomplish this task."

"Be careful. There should be enemies coming to them as well. Slipping past those demons won’t be easy."

Old Ru patted the Venom Overlord and said, "My grandson. I’ll leave him to you."

"You know that proper etiquette requires you to bring me a bottle of wine."

"How can you ask me for this? I don’t have any money. All my wealth has been distributed, you know?"

The Venom Overlord scoffed. "That’s why you’d better prepare it for the next time we meet. I don’t plan to meet you anytime soon, so make sure that the wine ages properly."

Old Ru smiled, gratified. "In that case, I’ll make sure to prepare the best wine for you."

The Venom Overlord lowered his head as if he were recognizing a family and paid his respects to his elder.
