Chapter 1562: Telling the Truth

Noel walked across the building before noticing the lightning sparking around the garden.

He couldn't help but stop for a moment. Anna's figure was visible from the mansion.

She was floating two meters above the ground, meditating while holding her sword.

The lightning sparked violently, scaring people. The people would probably try to avoid going around the area, thinking they would get hit by the violent lightning.

Yet, despite its appearance, the lightning didn't harm anyone or anything. It didn't shatter the ground or electrocute the grass on the ground.

It looked violent, yet it was gentle.

"This is…" Noel muttered.

"What's wrong?" Rose tilted her head in confusion.

"My lord?" Elaine furrowed her eyebrows. She checked the documents she was holding again, thinking about reminding him that they had an important matter today.

Noel fell silent for a moment. "Rose. Tell the people not to come close to the garden. Bring a few people to guard the garden."

"I understand. Is there something wrong with Anna?"

"Not necessarily. She might have found her answer."

"Ah! Do you mean…" Rose gulped. She just heard something incredible. There was only one answer he could talk about.

It was the answer to the mystery of the spirit king. If Noel confirmed it, it meant Anna would soon become a spirit king. This meant they would have the chance to go to an all-out war with the two demon kings.

Noel just smiled, mesmerized. It looked as if their plan was about to succeed. The reason Anna could do this was probably the gem of immortality. Thanks to the other half, Anna could strengthen the soul, which was needed to reach her answer.

Meanwhile, Noel didn't need to strengthen his soul because the answer they found was different.
