Mrs. Mira stared at Nova. "You... you both got married?" Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Isn’t... isn’t this too early?" she asked worriedly.

Nova smiled. "You can ask him that question. Whatever he tells you is my answer too," she replied.

Mrs. Mira smiled lightly, lowering her head. "I’m not blind... I can see he loves you, but... can you keep your marriage with him hidden? At least until everything is settled," she replied.

"I have no problem with that. After all, he’s still a student," Nova replied.

Mrs. Mira chuckled softly. "Sometimes, I feel like you aren’t just an ordinary 18-year-old girl, and that reassures me that my son is in safe hands," she murmured softly.

Nova stared at Mrs. Mira. "I can cure you," she said.

Mrs. Mira’s eyes widened in shock. "R... really?" Her heart pounded wildly in sudden excitement.

"But I have one condition, mother-in-law," Nova said, staring fixedly into Mrs. Mira’s eyes. "Aside from Alan as my husband, I have another two husbands, so you won’t cause any trouble for any of my husbands," she said.

Mrs. Mira was silent for a moment. "As long as you don’t wrong my son or maltreat him, I’m fine with whatever condition you have," she replied.

"That’s good," Nova replied.

Suddenly, four gleaming silver needles appeared between her fingers. Without any warning, she flicked her wrist, throwing them directly at Mrs. Mira.

The needles pierced four precise acupuncture points—one on her forehead, two on her shoulders, and the last one on her tummy.

A crackling, ice-cold blue energy instantly surrounded Nova’s four fingers. She pointed her glowing fingertips straight at the needles. Beams of intense blue aura shot forth, connecting her hands to the silver needles like threads of pure power.

Instantly, the deadly black poison dormant in Mrs. Mira’s bloodstream reacted. Like black, writhing worms, the toxic sludge was forcibly drawn out, transferring straight into Nova’s fingers through the blue energy conduits.

The silver needles slowly turned jet-black, vibrating violently under the extreme tension. The process was brutally fast. Veins bulged on Mrs. Mira’s neck, and her entire body was drenched in cold sweat.

"I’m almost done. Bear with it, mother-in-law... it will be painful this time," Nova warned.

"Mhm," Mrs. Mira groaned in breathless approval, closing her eyes.

Suddenly, the silver needles turned completely pitch-black and burst into smoke, fading into nothingness. Before the ash could even hit the floor, Nova flicked her wrist again, driving four fresh silver needles into the exact same spots on Mrs. Mira’s body.

"Mhm!" Mrs. Mira let out a sharp moan of agonizing pain. Sweat soaked through her clothes. She couldn’t move her body, but she gritted her teeth, trying desperately not to make another sound.

"Nova, the poison entering your body is getting too much! Any more of it and it will cause a total breakdown of your body!" Anah’s alarmed voice echoed inside Nova’s head.

A cold, dark smile appeared on Nova’s lips. "Strange enough, I find what you said familiar... but.... I’m not stopping," Nova replied, continuing the extraction without hesitation.

Deep inside the vast, endless void, Anah stood motionlessly. The massive translucent screen in front of her flickered wildly, its crimson alarm lights flashing as warning klaxons blared loudly.

"I honestly hate how stubborn you always are!" Anah’s angry voice echoed. She threw her arms wide open.

Her body lifted weightlessly into the air. Suddenly, from every direction in the darkness, the lethal black poison rushed toward her in violent, swirling waves of dark energy.

"Urgh!" Anah’s painful groan echoed through the void as the toxic streams slammed directly into her chest.

Instantly, the flashing red alarms on the blue screen vanished, replaced by glowing words pulsing with raw power.

[TOO MUCH POISON DETECTED! POISON NUTRITION SYSTEM ACTIVATED! SYSTEM ONLINE!]

A blinding flash of divine light shot from the screen directly into Anah. The light wrapped around the dark poison surging through her body, forcefully refining and converting the lethal toxins into pure, radiant energy.

The process raged on until every last drop of poison was successfully converted into energy, nourishing Anah’s spirit. The blinding light slowly dissolved, leaving Anah suspended in the air, radiating newfound strength.

[POISON SYSTEM UPGRADED! NEW IDENTITY UNLOCKED: NOVA, THE POISON EMPRESS.]

The glowing information appeared for a brief moment before vanishing without a trace.

Back in the room, Mrs. Mira’s pale, sickly skin rapidly regained its flush of life. Nova opened her eyes, seeing that all the poison had been completely purged from her body. She stopped the transfer process, and the silver needles flew back into her palm, vanishing in an instant.

Nova took a deep breath, feeling remarkably more energetic and refreshed. "Not bad," she thought, smiling cold and sharp.

Mrs. Mira slowly opened her eyes. She felt weightless, her body buzzing with vitality and strength she hadn’t felt in years. A warm smile spread across her face as she stood up steadily on her own two feet.

"I’m fine now... I’m really fine!" She stared at Nova, tears of pure relief welling up in her eyes. "Thank you very much, Nova... thank you!"

She pulled Nova into a tight, emotional hug.

Nova chuckled softly. "It’s not a big deal, mother-in-law," she replied, gently pulling away. "What do you want to do next?" she asked.

Mrs. Mira’s smile sharpened into something dangerous. "I’m not dead. Of course, I’ll have to throw that bastard a huge surprise and avenge my son and... my real husband," she replied, her eyes turning lethal and cold.

A satisfied smile appeared on Nova’s lips. "Well, I will have to watch the show, mother-in-law... I don’t want to miss the live action," she said.

Mrs. Mira laughed. "Sure! I can’t bear to let my beautiful daughter-in-law miss the show either," she replied.

Nova’s smile widened. "I’ll wait for you outside then," she said as she opened the door, walking out.

As soon as Nova stepped into the hallway, Alan immediately held her hand. "How’s my mother?" he asked with deep concern.

Nova calmly patted his hand. "Don’t worry, Mom is fine," Nova reassured him.

Alan let out a sharp sigh of relief and pulled Nova into a tight hug. "Thank you, Snow," he whispered.

"You haven’t even seen her yet," Nova commented.

"I trust you," Alan replied.

Nova chuckled and was about to speak, but then the bedroom door opened.

Mrs. Mira stepped out, completely transformed. She was dressed in a long, purple fitted gown that hugged her commanding silhouette, paired with sleek white gloves, high heels, and a chic black half-net hat tilted elegantly on her head.

She looked entirely different from her former frail self. She radiated mature power, elegance, and pure confidence—the true Mafia Princess she was born to be.

"M... Mom?" Alan called in total shock. He had never seen his mother look like this before, and he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Mrs. Mira chuckled lightly as she watched her son slowly pull away from Nova, his jaw practically dropping as he kept staring at her.

"Let’s go. We should take back what belongs to us, my son," she said, her smile never fading.
