Chapter 282 - 180: Silver Giant (Part 2)

“They’re just ants that can be crushed with a single move. If they dare to have inappropriate thoughts, they shouldn’t blame us for being ruthless!”

As they arrived in front of the Starry Tower, Meijisen and the others were about to unleash their magic attack as usual when a thunderous roar suddenly erupted from above as if thunder had struck.

They looked up in astonishment and saw the top of the Starry Tower suddenly explode.

Amidst the scattering debris, a figure shot out like lightning. After pausing slightly in the air, it slowly descended from the sky.

“Sunan!” Evans exclaimed, his eyes wide in shock.

Mayvic was startled at first, but then overjoyed, a ferocious grin spreading across his face.

“That guy isn’t dead yet! Perfect!”

At the same time, Kei and several others with the scepter also spotted Sunan from a distance and flew over.

“Sunan!”

Kei rushed up to Sunan, full of delight, and scrutinized him up and down. Seeing that Sunan seemed unharmed, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

The Traveler impatiently asked, “Sunan, what happened to you in there? Why did it take you so long to come out?”

The scepter and Rose also cast inquiring eyes, eager to know what had happened to the Starry Tower.

Sunan was about to speak when his peripheral vision suddenly caught sight of the Truth Council rushing towards him, surrounding him and Kei.

The Traveler’s expression changed, and he asked coldly, “Meijisen, what do you intend to do?”

“We should be asking you that!” Mayvic stared coldly at Sunan, “What exactly did you do? Why did the Starry Tower expel all of us?”

Sunan ignored him and instead asked Kei, “Have you been waiting outside all this time?”

Kei nodded, “I couldn’t leave without knowing you’re okay.”

Even surrounded by the notorious Truth Council of the Northwest Domain, Sunan remained composed and unperturbed, completely disregarding the hostile gazes around him. He casually inquired about what had happened next from Kei.

This behavior greatly incensed the members of the Truth Council.

Especially Mayvic, whose eyes filled with undisguised murderous intent.

“Since you’re not going to talk, I’ll just extract your soul and question you slowly!”

The more than two years of waiting had already pushed Mayvic’s irritability and anger to the limit. Being ignored by Sunan again was the final straw, and he attacked fiercely.

In full view of everyone, Mayvic’s head suddenly expanded and deformed, turning into a huge, hideous shark head. He opened his bloody maw full of sharp fangs and lunged savagely at Sunan!

However, faster than him was a flash of silver light suddenly shooting out from Sunan’s forehead!

The silver light pierced through the void like a bolt of lightning, passing effortlessly through layers of defenses, entering the shark head, and then exiting from the back, bringing out a spray of warm blood!

Mayvic staggered a few steps forward before collapsing to the ground, lifeless, his head reverting to its original form.

Silence!

Deathly silence!

Everyone stared wide-eyed at the scene, their faces filled with disbelief and shock.

With just a single move, a powerful Level 3 Wizard Apprentice was easily annihilated?

Was this a dream?

Meijisen was the first to recover, his face changing drastically as he shouted to wake his companions.

“Attack!”

The moment his words fell, countless blood streaks erupted from Meijisen’s pores, quickly coalescing into a massive blood-red claw, which lunged at Sunan with a piercing sound.

The others from the Truth Council also snapped out of their stupor and launched attacks at Sunan.

Kei and the others’ expressions changed, and they were about to defend and retaliate.

But before they could act, a layer of silver light suddenly appeared, enveloping them completely.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Colorful magic flashes and elemental lights engulfed the area where Sunan and the others stood, stirring up a large cloud of dust.

Seeing their attacks hit the target, Meijisen and the others showed no joy but instead prepared for the next wave of assaults with grave expressions.

Mayvic’s strength, ranked securely in the top three within the Truth Council, was effortlessly annihilated by Sunan. This left them utterly shocked, and they dared not underestimate Sunan’s power.

In fact, a terrifying thought faintly emerged in many of their minds.

But soon, they subconsciously dismissed it.

Sunan has only been in the Tower of Stars for a little over two years; it’s impossible for him to have taken the final step so quickly!

Whoosh!

The fierce wind disperses the smoke and dust, revealing the scene inside.

In the sunlight, a giant silver hemisphere gleams, its surface flowing slowly like liquid.

“What is this?” A Wizard Apprentice couldn’t help but exclaim in a low voice.

In the next moment, the silver hemisphere suddenly twists and deforms, revealing the figures of Kei and the others.

They stood there dumbfounded, not having yet recovered from their earlier shock, their eyes blankly staring at the silver metallic liquid gathering around Sunan, enveloping and covering him in layers, and in an instant forming a mass of silver, shining metallic liquid.

The metallic liquid then shoots skyward like a cannonball, rapidly expanding like an inflated balloon, instantly transforming into a terrifying giant over a hundred meters tall, silver and white, shining all over.

The sunlight shone on the silver giant, casting a massive shadow over the area where the Truth Council members stood.

In this moment, Meijisen and the others felt a shudder as if from a soul-deep level, an uncontrollable icy chill running down their spines, as if facing some terrifying existence far superior in life’s hierarchy.

Before they could make sense of it, a violent roaring sound exploded in their ears.

The silver giant raised its arm high, smashing its fist down upon them with force, the colossal fist crashing down like a meteor, stirring the air into a suffocating, violent roar!

The fist appeared huge and bulky, its speed seemingly slow, but somehow, everyone only saw a blur in front of their eyes before the fist had already arrived close.

A Wizard Apprentice didn’t even have time to react before being directly hit by the fist!

Shield Skills, Energy Particles protection, and defense from magic items, all were as fragile as paper before the fist, unable to hold for even a moment before collapsing and shattering in an instant.

Upon contact with the fist, the Wizard Apprentice was blasted by the terrifying energy contained within it, exploding into a mist of blood in the sky!

The fist paused briefly, then, defying the laws of physics, it veered in a strange arc and thunderously struck another Wizard Apprentice.

Bang!

Another scarlet bloom of blood unfolded!

Slash!

A gigantic blood blade suddenly slashed through the air, striking the wrist of the silver giant.

With a slight tearing sound, the silver giant’s entire hand was severed at the wrist, crashing to the ground, and in the blink of an eye, transforming into a spread of silver liquid.

Yet in the next instant, the liquid rose swiftly from the ground, swelling with the wind into a majestic water curtain covering the sky, completely engulfing the untimely Meijisen, then surging back.

By the time the silver liquid returned to the giant’s wrist, converging into a hand, Meijisen was tightly held within the grasp.

Feeling the dreadful pressure from all directions almost crushing him, a look of despair finally appeared in Meijisen’s eyes, his features twisting into a blend of incredulity and jealousy.

If he had a sliver of doubt before, he was now certain: Sunan had indeed advanced to an Official Wizard!

Only an Official Wizard could suppress him so effortlessly, leaving him no room for resistance!

But he was unwilling to accept it!

Sunan had clearly had a mysterious encounter in the Tower of Stars, allowing him to advance as a Wizard.

If he hadn’t been expelled, he might have obtained the inheritance reward through trials and broken through as well.

He was just one step away from that long-desired realm!

He couldn’t accept dying like this!

“Ahh!!!”

The intense pain surging through his body compelled Meijisen to let out a wretched scream.

As the silver giant’s palm abruptly closed, the chairman of the Truth Council exploded into countless blood mists, carrying with him a belly full of jealousy, despair, and reluctance!

The successive deaths of the three companions made the remaining Truth Council members aware of the dire situation; without a word, they turned and fled.

But before they could get far, the silver giant suddenly burst apart, countless silver metallic liquid droplets splashing, transforming mid-air into metallic spikes, sweeping around like a storm!

Swish, swish, swish!

Fabio, Evans, and the others were almost simultaneously pierced by the metallic spikes, their defenses utterly ineffective.

In just an instant, over a dozen Level 3 Wizard Apprentices met their doom, the entire force annihilated.

The metallic spikes circled in the air, returning along the path, disappearing into Sunan’s body.

Silence returned to the surroundings, as quiet as a pin drop.

Whether it was Kei and the four others or the distant Wizard Apprentices watching the battle, all stood numbly in place, feeling parched, their minds blank.
