"Yueyue got into a bit of trouble, and I need to go to the school to handle it," Ning Chenguang hurriedly said as he prepared to leave, not planning to explain the situation to Zhan Xiche in detail.

Zhan Xiche was well aware and didn’t ask much. She simply said, "You’d better go quickly. I won’t hold you up any longer. I’m heading back."

"Alright! Goodbye!"

Ning Chenguang hailed a cab and headed straight for the school.

............

In the dissection room, Yan Ye was working with two students to manage the educational cadaver.

He hoped to minimize the losses as much as possible.

Meanwhile, outside, He Yue sat on the corridor’s bench with her head down, softly sobbing.

She grew up in a rural area where people were much simpler. She had never experienced such deceit and bullying.

To this day, she could hardly believe Zhan Xiche would do such a thing to her.

At this moment, she felt nothing but sadness and panic.

Ning Chenguang jogged upstairs and from a distance saw He Yue’s frail figure curled up on the bench, looking very helpless.

"Yueyue..." he called out her name.

He Yue lifted her head at the familiar voice and saw Ning Chenguang standing before her, his eyes filled with pain and concern.

She bit her lower lip, holding back tears that were about to spill over.

At seventeen, she was still too young; she could hardly bear such a fright.

She needed to grow up.

"Yueyue, what exactly happened here?" Ning Chenguang slowly squatted down in front of her.

He raised his hand, gently wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes with his fingertips.

"Brother! Zhan Xiche tricked me!" He Yue said earnestly, her eyes locked on Ning Chenguang, "You have to believe me! Yueyue never lies!"

"I believe you! Tell me everything that happened!"

He Yue recounted the night’s events in detail to Ning Chenguang.

"So you’re saying you were doing your homework when Zhan Xiche tricked you into coming here? And then she pushed you down...?" Ning Chenguang asked, shocked.

It all sounded unbelievable no matter how he heard it.

Even though Ning Chenguang trusted He Yueyue, he still found it hard to believe.

"Yes. You’re absolutely right. That’s exactly how it happened!" He Yue said, staring intently at Ning Chenguang, as if afraid he wouldn’t believe her.

At this moment, Yan Ye emerged from the dissection room and, after overhearing their conversation, said directly, "It’s not that we don’t believe you. This story sounds absolutely ludicrous unless you can provide evidence to prove it! Only then might your words carry more weight!"

"I have evidence! She made me bring two notebooks..." He Yueyue said.

"Where’s the notebook?" Yan Ye asked, looking at her.

He Yue suddenly realized that she didn’t have the notebook with her at all.

She rushed into the dissection room to look but found nothing after searching for a long time. Suddenly, she remembered that Zhan Xiche had taken the notebook away.

When she arrived, she had handed the notebook to Zhan Xiche.

Zhan Xiche guided her here and vanished after pushing her.

"I don’t have the notebook anymore. I already gave it to her..." He Yue was filled with gloom.

"She already went back," Ning Chenguang said, "just half an hour ago, because we returned to the military compound at the same time."
