"What are you talking about?" Chi Yan has been following her all day, "Sister Tong, I remember you weren’t this indecisive before! Who is it lying in there? Is it your sweetheart?"

"What nonsense are you talking?" Luo Tong denied, "It’s not what you think!"

Chi Yan smirked, "Alright, alright. Whatever your relationship is, I won’t ask, okay? Are you giving these flowers or not? If not, I’m going in myself!"

With that, Chi Yan stood up, swiftly snatched the flowers from Luo Tong’s hand, pushed the door open with a bang, and swaggered in.

Ning Chenyang was awakened by the noise. He opened his eyes and saw a student-like boy holding a bouquet of flowers walking in.

"Did you come to the wrong place?" He didn’t recognize this young man.

"No. Are you Ning Chenyang?" Chi Yan asked.

"Yes."

"Then that’s right." Chi Yan stuck the flowers into a vase, casually saying, "These flowers are not from me but from my Sister Tong for you. Oh, yes, Luo Tong!"

Upon hearing this, Ning Chenyang looked as if he understood it all, "Why doesn’t she come to see me herself?"

Chi Yan glanced mischievously at the door, "She’s too embarrassed!"

"Chi Yan, what nonsense are you talking?" Luo Tong couldn’t stand it anymore outside; this guy was determined to drag her in.

Ning Chenyang appraised Luo Tong and saw she looked well and unharmed, and the stone in his heart finally settled, "It seems you’re fine. As long as you’re fine!"

Luo Tong had hovered outside the hospital all day, too afraid to come in. Ning Chenyang was injured because of her, and she couldn’t imagine the expression he would have when he saw her.

What she didn’t expect were caring words coming from Ning Chenyang’s mouth.

"You saved me this time. But don’t think that just because you saved me, I won’t resent you, and the conflicts between us can just vanish." Luo Tong said coldly.

"I know. When I saved you, I didn’t think that much! As a soldier, it was my duty to rescue civilians in danger!" Ning Chenyang replied.

"Am I just a civilian to you?" Luo Tong looked at Ning Chenyang dissatisfied.

"And a friend."

Luo Tong chuckled twice, "Do you think we can still be friends?"

"It depends on you." If Luo Tong insisted on hating him, there was nothing he could do.

He understood Luo Tong’s temperament well. Since childhood, he could see that her nature wasn’t very likable.

"Of course, we should be friends. There’s nothing that can’t be reconciled." Chi Yan figured it out from Luo Tong’s eyes. Since he was here, he decided to help her, "This soldier, my Sister Tong has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. She’s been worried about you for many days and comes here every day to look at you secretly. Do you think such behavior doesn’t want to be friends?"

Ning Chenyang smiled, "That’s just her nature! I know."

"Being friends is fine." Luo Tong thought it over; this kind of standoff was just heart-wrenching, "You promise me three requests, and the grudges between us will be wiped clean."
