Tuan Tuan slipped into the forest with a whoosh and disappeared without a trace.

After waiting a while, the house seed successfully grew. The house’s courtyard faced the forest. Lin Yun walked around it and looked it over, and she was quite satisfied.

Upon entering the courtyard, a notification popped up instantly.

[System notification: The house has been bound to the system. Detailed information can be viewed in your personal panel.]

Lin Yun did not rush to check the house information and went straight into the house. It had some furniture, but all of it was ordinary in style. If she wanted something more refined, she would have to buy more furniture and furnish it herself.

She made her way to the third floor, and to her surprise, there was a door as soon as she came up the stairs. Lin Yun opened the door and went in. The entire third floor was one separate suite, with an office, a rest area, a washroom, and even a balcony outside.

After walking around the third floor, Lin Yun stepped back out and placed her hand on the doorknob.

[The host has selected this room as the shelter. Bind? Yes/No]

"Yes."

[Congratulations, host! The shelter has been successfully bound!]

[Due to the unique nature of this house, the shelter can move with the house in this world!]

"Oh dear, I suddenly feel better."

Lin Yun smiled, but she did not stay idle. She took many things out of the shelter’s basement and decorated the room on the third floor.

"Little Vine, your main vine can now stretch freely on the third floor."

[Yay!]

The vines hanging on the door grew wildly. Coincidentally, there was a window next to the stairs, so the vines climbed straight out through it. They climbed all the way to the roof, pretended to twine around it, then extended downward along the ground and climbed up the fence that enclosed the house. The main vine spread over the area in a way that did not look too deliberate, keeping the entire yard within a safe zone. Lin Yun did not interfere with the Ghost Vine’s actions. It knew what it was doing.

She went to the first and second floors and added a few simple items. There were still more things she would need to add in this world. Miss Rabbit would be visiting, so she could not let her discover anything unusual. She stood in the living room and glanced around, and only felt relieved after confirming that there was nothing she should not have taken out.

She came out of the living room into the yard, looked around, and wondered whether she should plant something.

"System, will the things I plant in the yard be affected if I harvest seeds for the house?"

[No. You are the owner of both the house seed and the mutated plants, so there is no conflict. But this will attract small animals from the forest to sneak in and steal the food.]

"??? Is that right?"

[That’s right. Those are mutated varieties, better than regular fruits and vegetables. Animals aren’t stupid. They’ll definitely like them.]

"...So that’s how it’ll be."

Lin Yun sighed. Just as she was about to go back and transplant some plants, she saw Tuan Tuan darting out of the bushes not far away.

The gigantic Tuan Tuan carried a fawn in her mouth and swaggered this way.

Goodness, this kid had even caught a deer. What would the local natives say when they saw it? People of the same race eating people of the same race?

Lin Yun sighed and rubbed her forehead in exasperation.

As soon as they approached the courtyard entrance, the little deer in Tuan Tuan’s mouth fell out. Tuan Tuan glanced in surprise at the small courtyard, then at the road extending from the courtyard gate, her big head a little confused. She had only gone out hunting, right? It had not taken very long, had it? And yet Youyou had built such a long road all by herself? She was really amazing!

Seeing that Tuan Tuan had not come in, Lin Yun was a little puzzled. She quickly went over and opened the courtyard gate. Before she could even speak, she saw the road that stretched out from the gate.

Lin Yun: "?"

Tuan Tuan: "Youyou, you’re so amazing!"

Lin Yun: "???"

Tuan Tuan: "The tiger just caught one prey, and you’ve already repaired the road!"

Lin Yun: "??? (Looking terrified)"

"No, I didn’t! Sang Biao and I were in the house the whole time. We weren’t repairing the road! With my small frame, how could I possibly clear a road in such a short time!"

Sang Biao was also stunned. He had been following Lin Yun and knew her movements.

"Then this road...?" Sang Biao was just as confused about what was going on.

When in doubt, just call out: "System--"

[Here it comes! The house seed works like this, that’s right. After the house seed is planted in a chosen location and successfully grows, it automatically recognizes the surroundings. The developers have also handled this, so a path will automatically appear! This is also to make it convenient for people who want to stay in all sorts of places. When you go out, just follow the road, and you’ll see the main road at the intersection. There won’t be any obstacles on the road. It’s smooth and straight all the way to the end.]

"So here’s the question: will it still be like this when I go to another world?"

[No.]

[The house seed needs to be compatible with the world to generate a path on its own.]

Lin Yun sighed. "All right, then."

"Tuan Tuan, come in."

Tuan Tuan picked up the fawn and followed her into the yard.

"You two go play by yourselves. I’ll deal with the prey." Lin Yun sent the two cubs off to play and thought of a way to handle the prey.

After a while of fiddling around, she finally managed to butcher the deer.

Then she entered the shelter and transplanted some ordinary plants into the yard, storing them for later use. Once they had been turned into mutated varieties with the Wood Spirit’s Breath, she would transplant them back into the shelter.

Knock, knock, knock.

Lin Yun was planting new vegetables when she heard someone knocking at the door. She glanced toward the courtyard gate. The house she had chosen had a rather high fence, and with the Ghost Vine entwining it, it was almost impossible to see who was outside.

"Who is it?"

"Hello, I’m the swan from across the lake. I just saw that you planted a house seed here, so I came to pay you a visit."

Bai Yu stood outside the courtyard gate, curiously examining the vines wrapped around the fence. She had never seen these vines in the Fairy Tale Forest before. However, she did vaguely remember this house seed. It was one the research institute had sent not long ago, but it cost 15 gold coins, and many people had looked at it and not chosen it. She had originally thought it would rot in the official housing office, but unexpectedly someone had been willing to spend 15 gold coins to buy it.

Lin Yun’s hands were dirty, so she asked Sang Biao to open the door.

Click.

Bai Yu looked over at the sound and saw a cat’s head peeking out through the gap.

"Meow."

Sang Biao called out to her and then ran back.

Bai Yu pushed the door open and walked in. "Hello, Miss Sika Deer."

"Hello, Miss Swan."

Lin Yun washed her hands and came over to greet Bai Yu.
