Could this be Miss Rabbit from the mission?

A real rabbit, no less.

The snow-white rabbit was trying to jump out of the pit, but the pit was a bit deep, and Miss Rabbit’s jumping power seemed insufficient, so she could not get out.

Hearing footsteps from above, Miss Rabbit was pleasantly surprised. She had been down there for quite a while and had originally thought she could jump out once she returned to her original form. Unexpectedly, she had hurt her leg when she fell, and her hind leg had lost its strength, so she could not jump out. After several attempts, she had no choice but to give up. She had been calling for help from the pit for ages, but no one had come forward.

But now that someone had finally heard her, she should be able to get out soon!

Miss Rabbit quickly spotted the head peeking over the edge of the pit.

Wow... it was a sika deer. Miss Sika Deer was as kind as ever.

"Miss Deer, please help me! I can’t jump up there anymore. Could you please look around for some vines to help me out?"

Miss Rabbit was quite happy and quickly made her request.

Lin Yun raised an eyebrow. Goodness, the rabbit had told her her identity right off the bat. How convenient!

As expected of Miss Rabbit, who was beautiful inside and out but unlucky.

"Wait a moment."

Lin Yun pulled her head back and gave the Ghost Vine a look. The Ghost Vine very obediently spurred the growth of a new vine and handed it to her.

After taking the vine, Lin Yun lowered it into the pit. "Tie the vine around yourself, and I’ll pull you up."

"Okay!"

Miss Rabbit worked at it with her two front paws for a while before binding herself with the vine.

Sigh, if I hadn’t lost my strength and couldn’t transform into human form, I wouldn’t have had to go through so much trouble. Rabbit paws are really useless!

Miss Rabbit was very light, and Lin Yun pulled her up easily.

"Thank you, Miss Sika Deer, who is beautiful inside and out!"

After coming up, Miss Rabbit quickly thanked Lin Yun, then extended another invitation.

"Miss Deer, you saved me. I’d like to invite you to my home for dinner, if that’s all right? My home is near the roundabout, not too far from here."

Huh?

It just so happened that Lin Yun’s destination was also there. Together with the daily tasks in the mission center, that made her happy to agree.

"Okay."

"How wonderful that you’ll come home with me! Tonight I’ll show you my amazing cooking skills!"

Miss Rabbit slipped out of the vines and hopped away.

"Please follow me, Miss Sika Deer."

Lin Yun followed.

Miss Rabbit added, "Are these two little guys pets you caught in the Beast Forest? They’re amazing. The lord of Monster City has also been to the Beast Forest, and he captured a leopard of his own kind."

Good heavens, the Beast Forest? How come she hadn’t seen it on the map? Could it be that she had not seen the whole map? She would have to take another proper look later.

"Are you asking about my pets? And is your leg injured?" Lin Yun glanced at Miss Rabbit’s hind leg again. It looked a little strange.

Miss Rabbit sighed. "Yes, I bumped it on the pit when I fell in, and it hurts a bit. I can’t put any strength into my body now. I wonder which heartless little scoundrel dug a hole in the forest! If I find out who it is, I’ll go to their house and have a good talk with them. Hmm... but before that, I need to go to the forest rangers and tell them about the pit."

Lin Yun’s lips twitched.

"Sang Biao, I need a cat-themed car."

Sang Biao had been wanting to walk faster for a while, because the rabbit was walking very slowly. But since Lin Yun had not said anything, he could not urge her on directly. Upon hearing this, he immediately enlarged himself.

Lin Yun hugged Tuan Tuan in her arms and looked at Miss Rabbit. "Miss Rabbit, would you like to ride the cat car with me? It’s faster!"

"Wow!" Miss Rabbit exclaimed. She was not surprised that Sang Biao could grow bigger or smaller. She was only a little envious. The pets captured in the Beast Forest all possessed such abilities, and although she had no pet herself, she had seen them before.

"Okay, okay!"

Lin Yun stepped forward and picked up Miss Rabbit as well. Miss Rabbit did not resist and let Lin Yun carry her onto Sang Biao’s back.

It was the first time she had ever sat on such a big cat. In Monster City and the other towns, the pets were almost all gentle creatures like ducks and turtles. Cats were rarely seen.

"Miss Rabbit, I’ll need your directions later."

"Okay!"

"My name is Tu Bei, Miss Sika Deer. What is your name?" Miss Tu Bei patted the fluffy fur under her paws, feeling a bit curious.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Yun replied, "My name is Lu You."

"Okay, Miss Deer."

Miss Rabbit gave Sang Biao directions, and the cat-themed car sped up.

Miss Rabbit was not afraid at all. In fact, she became excited. "Wow, it’s so fast! Faster than I used to be in races!"

"Oh no, stop right there! You’re about to overtake us!"

Upon hearing the sound, Sang Biao immediately braked.

Lin Yun, whose face was covered in hair, calmly brushed it off, her heart completely unmoved. Sure enough, no one made a sound when they sat in this cat-shaped stroller.

"We’ve arrived at the Forest Police Station. Please wait a moment while I go inside and let them know!"

Miss Rabbit jumped down by herself and hopped into the station. A few minutes later, she emerged.

Lin Yun picked her up again and climbed onto Sang Biao’s back. "Is everything taken care of?"

"It’s all taken care of. Let’s go to my house now! Oh, right, I just applied medicine inside, but since this is your pet, I won’t change back yet."

Miss Rabbit explained. In their Fairy Tale/Monster World, pets with owners were not allowed to carry anyone other than their owners. However, an unexpected situation like this could be understood. Miss Rabbit had been injured, and Lin Yun had taken the initiative to invite her. Now that she had applied medicine and regained her strength, she should have told Lin Yun.

Lin Yun did not pay any attention. She did not know the rules here and thought that Miss Tu Bei was afraid of troubling her.

"It doesn’t matter."

"Miss Deer, you are so kind," Miss Rabbit exclaimed.

Soon, they arrived at Miss Rabbit’s residence. It was a house shaped like a carrot, standing there as if it had grown out of the ground. There was a small courtyard in front of the house, where a lot of radishes were planted.

As expected of Miss Rabbit.

After getting off Sang Biao’s back, Miss Rabbit transformed back into human form. "This is my home!"

Sang Biao glanced at the carrot house, then at his own size, and silently shrank to follow Lin Yun.
