Chapter 207: World Selection Card

She had worked so hard to get to where she was now, and so naturally she did not want to give up all of her previous efforts.

Once Qin Mingyue saw a glimmer of hope, she desperately tried to grasp it with all of her strength. She had been searching for mutants for a full month, but there was still no news of any kind. Now that she had finally found a suspicious target at last, how could she possibly give up?

However, she seemed to have been going a little too far.

Qin Mingyue quickly typed out a message, wanting to apologize.

"I’m sorry, I was far too hasty. I really needed the mutant tomato, so please forgive me just this one time. Also, may I ask who it was that sold that mutant tomato?"

But right after she sent the message, a red exclamation mark appeared next to it on the screen.

She had been deleted from his friends list.

Qin Mingyue was stunned for a moment, staring at the screen.

She had been deleted from his friends list... Well, when she thought about it, that made sense. Her attitude when she had been talking to him earlier had been really bad, so it was perfectly understandable that he had deleted her.

However, she still did not want to give up that last sliver of possibility. After hesitating for a long time, Qin Mingyue very carefully and politely sent the friend request again and earnestly added an apology to it.

But... her friend request still was not accepted by him.

"Youyou, let’s eat." Sang Biao nudged Lin Yun gently, his eyes shining brightly as he looked at her.

The bag of pet food that Lin Yun had opened the day before yesterday had been delicious. It was something that he and Tuan Tuan had fought over in order to finish it. The pet food was very filling. One bag could last for a whole day, and it also contained a lot of energy as well, which both he and Tuan Tuan liked very much indeed.

More importantly, eating the pet food was like opening a blind box, because each one had a different flavor!

Tuan Tuan landed on its hind legs right next to him, its two front paws resting on Lin Yun’s legs, looking up at her expectantly.

"Didn’t I already put them all on the small shelf? If you two want to eat them, then just open them yourselves. You don’t need to tell me."

Lin Yun chuckled softly and gently patted the cat’s and the tiger’s heads once again. It seemed that the pet food really did please the two of them.

Having received this permission, Sang Biao dashed off instantly like the wind, and Tuan Tuan also took off running after him. It grabbed one bag of pet food and ran over to its food bowl, tore open the packaging with its paw, devoured the food in a flash, and then threw the packaging into the trash can.

"Fragrant, crispy, and so delicious!"

Sang Biao slumped down on the sofa, making happy gurgling noises in his throat.

"Delicious, delicious! There’s even some dried meat inside it!" Tuan Tuan rolled around on the floor and smacked her lips.

After resting for two days, Song Zhenzhen could not wait any longer to call Lin Yun out again to go somewhere, ostensibly to show her around the transit station for a while. Since Lin Yun was indeed unfamiliar with the other parts of the transfer station at that time, she went out together with Song Xizheng.

By the end of the day, she had gained a pretty good general understanding of most of the places at the transit station.

"Hey, isn’t that Qin Mingyue? Why is she here on the outer ring road instead of on the second ring road?"

As she walked along, Song Zhenzhen suddenly caught sight of a somewhat familiar figure ahead. She and Qin Mingyue had entered the same survival world together and had had some interactions there.

Xiong Qi glanced over in that direction and casually remarked to the others, "Hasn’t she been looking for some kind of mutated plant lately? She’s been running around everywhere looking for it."

"Huh? She’s still looking? I was thinking that, since we’ve all been to a survival world and come back, she should have given up by now, right?" Song Zhenzhen was a little bit surprised.

"Who knows what she’s really thinking? I’ve heard she’s harassed quite a few survivors," George shrugged beside him as he said it.

Lin Yun thought for a moment and then asked curiously, "Why does she insist on mutated plants? She found out about the fertilizer collection a couple of days ago and has been bothering me ever since then."

Song Zhenzhen hissed in surprise at this, not expecting Lin Yun to be harassed again.

"Why is she harassing you now, of all times?"

"Oh, it’s because of that mutated tomato you took out earlier, right? That makes sense."

Lin Yun glanced at the corner of her mouth again, and then she nodded. "I got it from someone else, but she did not believe me, so in the end I deleted her."

Song Zhenzhen glanced back in the direction that they had just come from and said, "Then let’s just ignore her. She’s only one more survival world away from being able to stay at the transit station indefinitely, so that is why she’s so anxious."

However, they did not talk about this for very long and quickly moved on to the next topic.

The five-day stay passed by very quickly.

It was now time for Lin Yun to be sent into a new world again.
