Seraphina Sinclair watched in a daze. The creature seemed to think there were no more enemies on the island and had actually returned to its original patrol route!

If she had enough time, Seraphina Sinclair could have definitely waited for all the monsters to return to their set paths.

But she was out of time!

Seraphina Sinclair gave a silent, bitter smile and slipped out through the gap left by that monster.

She had wanted to break into a sprint and run straight back to the mobile cabin, but the moment she took a slightly larger step, the gazes that had moved away from her immediately snapped back!

Seraphina Sinclair froze, instantly resuming her monster disguise.

Limping and shuffling, starting and stopping, she finally shuffled to the edge of the island just before the countdown hit zero.

Thirty seconds left.

Seraphina Sinclair turned and took one last look at the monsters.

’One day, I’ll be able to take them all down fair and square!’

After giving herself that pep talk, Seraphina Sinclair immediately stepped into the range of the mobile cabin.

Perhaps because she had relaxed, the filth clinging to her body actually started flaking off with a soft rustle.

Seraphina Sinclair’s lips twitched into a stiff smile. She gave herself a quick once-over to deal with the grime, then headed straight for the bathroom to shower without even entering her room.

This time, a genuine smile graced her lips as she pulled out the clothes and put them on.

None of the filth had been brought inside, and her home still felt cozy.
