Survival of the Nation: I Can Specify the Items That Will Drop
Chapter 611: Soldiers Gather at the Vanguard Camp
The Blood Abyss Demon Sect's mountain gate is located 100 kilometers east of Blood Nest No. 1.
Two mountain peaks stand side by side like gateposts, with a giant city wall running through the middle.
Embedded into the mountainside at both ends, it becomes one with the mountain. On the city tower, a huge blood flag hangs down, with a ferocious blood-red eye embroidered on the flag.
On one side of the mountain gate, someone carved twelve characters with a sword.
"The gate to the Blood Abyss is difficult to enter, but there is no way to retreat."
Lin Feng glanced at the line of text but said nothing.
Nightshade and his group led the way, followed by hundreds of people from the Beacon Fire Clan. The group passed through the giant city gate from the air.
The city walls were filled with disciples of the Demonic Sect, who had clearly received orders beforehand, and not one of them made a move.
But the expressions on those people's faces varied; some were full of resentment, while others looked numb.
Tie Dun rode on the back of an ice-winged griffin, looking down at the demonic sect disciples on the city wall, clicking his tongue incessantly.
"Oh my god, they were clamoring to flatten our Hangu Pass a while ago, but now look at them, all standing there like wooden stakes. Do you think they're cursing under their breath?"
Wang Wu chuckled upon hearing this: "Whether they cursed or not, I don't know, but their expressions weren't good. Look at that one, he's gripping the knife so tightly that the veins on the back of his hand are bulging, but he doesn't dare to move an inch. What do you call that? You call that feeling frustrated."
"Frustrated? That's exactly what I'm looking for!" Tie Dun laughed loudly, his voice so loud that even the demonic sect disciples on the city wall could hear him.
"Back then, they were incredibly arrogant outside Hangu Pass, but now that we're in their lair, they don't dare utter a single word. I love seeing them looking like they want to take us down but can't!"
Arrow Eye glanced at him sideways and said indifferently, "Say less, or someone might lose their temper and shoot you down with an arrow."
"Get lost." Ironclad glared at him, then patted the neck of the ice-winged griffin beneath him triumphantly. "But seriously, riding this thing over people's heads feels really awesome."
Further on, the clouds and mist gradually thinned, and a dark red palace emerged from the mountainside—the Blood Abyss Palace.
Night Shadow, along with Li Zhan, Chong Shan, and Zang Hua, were the first to descend, landing on the wide Bloodstone Square in front of the palace.
The temple gate is ten meters high and carved from a single piece of obsidian. The doors are tightly closed, and on each side stands a six-meter-high statue of a fanged Asura, with a lingering eerie light in its eye sockets.
Lin Feng, along with Zhou Guosheng, Jiang Yelan, and Jiang Zhaoyue, also landed.
He glanced back at the flying legion in mid-air, nodded slightly, and the group stopped advancing and waited in formation in the air.
Seeing that they had arrived, Nightshade didn't say anything more and placed his hand on the palace door.
The obsidian door, which was ten meters tall, groaned heavily as it slowly slid open to both sides.
"Commander Lin, please." Nightshade gestured and stepped inside first.
The crowd filed in.
The hall was extremely high and deep, with a dim red lamp embedded at intervals on both sides of the wall. The light was very weak, casting extremely long shadows of the group of people.
From afar, one can see a staircase nearly ten meters high, at the top of which sits a high-backed main table made of black stone and bone fragments.
Above the main seat, a blood-red core floated silently.
Lin Feng's gaze fell on the dimensional core, and his heart skipped a beat.
As he walked toward the steps, he glanced around out of the corner of his eye.
Logically, the sect leader of the Blood Abyss Sect should be near the core of the plane, but apart from Night Shadow and his three companions, there was no other presence.
Perhaps he is right here, but he just doesn't want to show himself.
Constrained by the rules of the universe, he cannot attack his own side, and perhaps he doesn't want others to see his current expression.
But he could still feel a gaze silently fixed on him from the shadows.
Nightshade stopped in front of the steps and said calmly, "Commander Lin, the core of the plane is just above."
Lin Feng nodded without saying anything more and walked step by step toward the stairs.
Behind them, Jiang Zhaoyue, Jiang Yelan, and Zhou Guosheng all held their breath in unison.
The four members of Night Shadow also stared at Lin Feng's back. Li Zhan tightened his grip on his knife, and Zang Hua's smile had disappeared without him noticing, with a hint of tension flashing deep in his eyes.
Night Shadow remained as calm as ever, except that the fingertips of her left hand trembled slightly.
Chongshan remained silent.
Lin Feng stood still in front of the crimson core.
He took a breath, and a faint golden light flashed in his eyes.
"Eye of Probability, Investigate."
The next instant, a message that only he could see slowly unfolded above the crimson core.
【Core of the Dimension】
【Quality: Gold】
【Potential drops: Broken Dimensional Heart (100%), Nightmare Knight's Token (100%), Dark Gold Energy Crystal (10%), Complete Dimensional Heart (1%), Blood Soldier's Vanguard Camp (0.00001%)...】
Lin Feng stared at the line of information, his breath catching for a moment.
The Eye of Probability is usable.
The Broken Dimensional Heart and the Nightmare Knight's Token are both guaranteed drops, but that wasn't enough to make him lose his composure.
What truly captivated him was the last line: Blood Soldiers Gather at the Vanguard Camp, a probability of one in ten million.
He didn't know what it was, but the last one in ten million that dropped was called a special village-building order.
He stood there for a moment before slowly exhaling.
His face still didn't reveal much of his expression; only his tightly pursed lips betrayed his unease.
