Supremely Talented Tyrant
Chapter 2232 - 2433: Lost the Game!!!
Cheng Wen came over just to thank Hao Jian. She put down the things, smiled, and left without saying any more. But for her, someone introverted and shy about talking to classmates, this already took tremendous courage. Hu Lai and the others were a bit surprised and shocked to see Cheng Wen actually taking the initiative to start a conversation.
However, they were quite used to such scenarios, and after a simple surprise, the group went back to the chatting atmosphere from earlier.
Everyone sat together and laughed, talking about what they experienced this afternoon. Since they didn't explore the Ancient Town together, everyone's encounters and feelings were different, which made each story interesting and fun to hear.
Hao Jian intended to say he did nothing but took photos of Liang Xiaohan this afternoon, but when he was about to speak, Liang Xiaohan seemed to know what he was about to say and gave him a fierce look. Scared, he immediately swallowed his words. When Hu Lai and the others asked him what he saw in the afternoon, he just shook his head, saying nothing much, just trivial stuff. Only then did Liang Xiaohan nod with satisfaction.
Afterwards, everyone was somewhat full from the barbecue. As the saying goes, "a full stomach brings naughty thoughts." Now that they had eaten and drunk well, it was time to start activities. A few brave, outgoing, and active classmates organized the group, who had been scattered, into a circle.
The yard was big enough to form a circle, allowing everyone to play games together. To ensure fairness, even close friends were separated. For example, Hu Lai and Fatty couldn't sit together; they had to split up. Subsequently, Hao Jian ended up sitting alone.
They even said that mixing genders during activities makes it less tiring, suggesting that boys and girls should sit mixed. So they sat alternating male and female, not allowing two boys to sit together. After the distribution, they sat down. The number of boys and girls in the class was balanced, and though a few boys ended up sitting together, it wasn't a big deal.
After the seating was organized, they all sat down. Hao Jian also sat down but then noticed the person sitting to his right was both familiar and unfamiliar. It turned out to be Cheng Wen.
He was stunned for a moment, not knowing that Cheng Wen would speak first, "Ah! What a coincidence, I didn't expect it to be you sitting next to me!"
"What? Are you unhappy sitting next to me?" Hao Jian jokingly asked.
Cheng Wen, being naturally shy, took Hao Jian's joke seriously, and her expression suddenly became serious. Scared, Hao Jian quickly explained, "Just kidding, don't take it seriously."
"Oh, I see!" Cheng Wen's tense expression finally relaxed, but she still looked a bit upset.
Hao Jian didn't expect her to be so humorless, so after this joke, they didn't talk much more.
After some small talk, the games began. Hao Jian didn't really enjoy this atmosphere and vibe, as there was a difference between him and them in terms of age and mentality, which kept him from fully joining in.
But as one of the organizers of this event and with everyone having so much fun, he didn't want to spoil the mood, so he sat down to play with them.
The game was simple. The class teacher, Li Weiwei, sat in the middle and threw a ball made of clothes. Whoever it hit had to pass it on by hand to the next person. Once the ball was thrown, Li Weiwei would close her eyes. When she opened her eyes, the person holding the ball would be punished as chosen by the group.
Feeling punishing one person was boring, they changed the rules a bit to target two people: the one who caught the ball and the one who passed it to them, ensuring one male and one female for more fun.
Even before the game started, everyone was eagerly excited.
"Let's begin," said Li Weiwei.
With that, Li Weiwei threw the ball, landing in a girl's hands. She quickly passed it on. Everyone feared ending up with the ball and being punished, so they passed it quickly, while those not holding it worried it might land with them next.
Once the ball was thrown, Li Weiwei closed her eyes per the rules, counting down silently.
"Three, two, one… stop!" Li Weiwei suddenly opened her eyes.
When Li Weiwei counted to one, the ball had just been passed to Cheng Wen. When she said stop, Cheng Wen just happened to pass the ball out, which ended up in Hao Jian's hands. As she shouted stop, everyone's eyes were fixed on Hao Jian. That's right, Hao Jian was the one caught in the first round of the game, and according to the game rules, Cheng Wen, who passed the ball to him, would also have to face the punishment. So, the first punishment targets were Hao Jian and Cheng Wen.
The fact that it was Hao Jian caught in the first round of punishment made everyone instantly lively, shouting Hao Jian's and Cheng Wen's names. Cheng Wen was already shy, and her face turned red rapidly as everyone called out. The two stood up helplessly amidst the crowd's cheers; Hao Jian didn't mind, but Cheng Wen's face was really red.
She leaned over to Hao Jian apologetically, saying, "Sorry for dragging you into this by passing the ball to you."
Hao Jian didn't care and said, "It's okay, you couldn't control when the stop was called, not your fault."
Cheng Wen's face eased up a little, but she still couldn't shake off the guilt from her face. At this point, someone suggested, "Hmm… the punishment should be the two of them transferring a piece of paper with their lips."
Transferring a piece of paper with their lips meant close contact, with a piece of paper in between, held up by their lips so it wouldn't fall — a kind of indirect kiss. They had to keep the paper from falling for five seconds to succeed, otherwise they'd have to do it again.
Hao Jian was shameless and didn't mind; he didn't lose anything by doing this and could even gain something. But for Cheng Wen, who was introverted and would blush just talking with boys, such an intimate act was utterly embarrassing, making her whole body heat up with shyness.
Upon hearing this suggestion, she was clearly uncomfortable, radiating a sense of resistance.
Seeing this, Hao Jian came to her rescue, saying, "This is too much, let's change it to something else."
Fatty and others immediately started jeering from below, saying, "No, this is great! It enhances camaraderie among classmates and livens up the atmosphere. Let's go with this; it's the best."
When Cheng Wen heard this, her face looked even more troubled. Hao Jian was about to insist if she didn't want to do it, but at that moment, Xiaohai suddenly jumped in, saying, "No, they can't do this."
With Xiaohai's words, the whole place went silent, no one saying a word. Everyone secretly speculated about Hao Jian and Xiaohai's relationship status, thinking Xiaohai jumping in to oppose the intimate act between Hao Jian and Cheng Wen made perfect sense.
Everyone reached an unspoken consensus, all thinking along the same lines, and the atmosphere instantly quieted down. Seeing her opposition having an effect, Xiaohai immediately suggested, "This won't do, let's have Hao Jian do push-ups with Cheng Wen sitting on his back, fifty push-ups. What do you all think?"
Everyone quickly agreed without daring to contradict Xiaohai; though not as stimulating as the previous suggestion, with Xiaohai's presence, the idea of doing push-ups with someone sitting was still appealing enough and stimulating for some, so it was accepted.
However, doing fifty push-ups with a person on your back, given the current high school students, seemed quite challenging. Especially when doing fifty push-ups with a girl sitting on your back; the difficulty seemed to multiply.
Xiaohai suggested this because she knew Hao Jian doing Zhonghua Pavilion steps wouldn't be too challenging for him, so she proposed it.
Upon hearing it, the others were a bit surprised, but they were having fun and were happy, cheering along.
Hao Jian just smiled; it was just push-ups, he could do as many as needed, effortlessly, smiled broadly but didn't say much and immediately got down to the ground, starting in a push-up position.
At that moment, Cheng Wen's face was extremely red, although it was just sitting on Hao Jian's back for him to do push-ups, her shyness was overwhelming, she found it difficult to endure with so many people watching.
But since the game was still a game, one must accept the punishment for losing; pondering it internally, she eventually sat down, perching on Hao Jian's back.
Truth be told, Cheng Wen was not heavy, slim-built among girls, so it was even easier for Hao Jian.
